Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well sunrose - You've just been talking to yourself in our thread, haven't you? Hope things are good for you and you've been able to get out and walk. I've still been tracking my food and trying to make sure to get in some fruits, vegetables and dairy each day. I also get my minimum steps in and try to walk for at least 30-45 minutes at a time each day. So at least that's something. I'm thinking about what I want to do next. I would like to try a new program just to get me out of the rut I'm in, but I'm not sure what to do. I could go to calorie counting, or try Points Plus maybe. I think those are about the only things that would work for me. I can't give up all sugar and carbs, since I think I'd only last a few days at that and then start bingeing. And I feel like going back to Momentum just won't work for me right now. Hopefully I'll figure it out soon. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning cj59, yes I was talking to myself...lol I don't think I could totally give up sugar or carbs. I can't remember how Points Plus worked. I'll have to look it up. You are doing better than me. I am not getting in f/v in daily. Nor dairy. Waving to all Headed to a ww workshop this morning. I will do a no WI since I woke up so early and needed my coffee/english muffin. Scale is going up.

Good morning! I've been trying to get more organized this week. I'd give myself a passing grade, barely lol. Hope everyone is well.
Our weather is all over the place. 50s one day, near 80 the next. Everything is starting to bloom and everyone is sick with allergies.

Good morning. I have had a rough couple of days. Lack of planning and stress are not a good combo. New day-new start! I hope your weekend is off to a great start.

Meal rep day tomorrow. Duck, green beans, yellow squash and 2 pouches of pear/blueberry baby food for my dog (14 containers 1 cup each lol) Son gets tortellini pasta salad for his work lunches. Cooking a BIG chuck roast w/turnips, carrots and a loaded salad for dinner. DH just takes whatever we have for dinner the night before -so he's easy!
I feel like I'm going to be in the kitchen all day lol.

Hello Everyone I'm glad we're all hanging in there and not giving up when we aren't completely on plan. Sounds like everyone is having a busy weekend. I went to a quilt show today and the day ended up being really long because my battery died when I stopped on the way home. But I have a new AAA battery in my car now. With being gone so long today I ended up not eating very well and I haven't even hit 10,000 steps. I may just have to give myself a break today. Take care and have a good day tomorrow!

cj59, sorry about the battery! How was the quilt show? I'm always astonished at how meticulous quilters are, so cool. I don't have the patience for it.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are enjoying the day DotRen - There were some very intricate and detailed quilts. I'm not much of an artistic quilter, I prefer more traditional patterns. But I can sure appreciate the beauty and work that goes into a quilt. It's always fun to look at them all hung up together. sunrose - Hope you get your yardwork done. I need to do some too, but I'm going to wait for a few days. I have 2 ornamental grasses that I need to cut back. I love AAA too, it's worth every dollar to know I can call and get help. I was reading the thread on the main board about the old 1-2-3 Success Program and it sounds a lot like the Momentum plan I was doing except with a more generous spread of daily points and you can bank points. There aren't any weeklies from what I can see and I think this program might work for me. I never liked using the weeklies, but I think my mind would accept eating a few more points each day as long as I stayed in the daily range. I was also most successful when I'd have a few higher points days and a few lower point days spread out over the week. I printed off the information and added in the info for the Good Health Guidelines and I'll think about trying this. If I don't do this, I think I need to get back to calorie counting. I want to focus on eating "good" foods and trying to limit the sugar and other "bad" foods. At least I'm starting to feel like I want to get back on a plan, so that's always the first step I did get in 10,000 steps yesterday, so I was happy even though I didn't make it to 12,000 that I've been trying to get each day. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well.

Good morning
cj59, have you heard of the Wendy Plan? I did that years ago and was very successful. It has different points for each day of the week. High then low. I broke and have been eating jelly beans. Not good. I was suppose to give them up for Lent, but I caved.

I am headed to the TM

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today sunrose - That darn Easter candy!! It's really hard to resist isn't it? At least there was no fat in the jelly beans My favorite are the Russell Stover Milk Chocolate covered Marshmallow Easter Eggs. I'm on my third package of those this year. I'm hoping not to buy anymore. I did the Wendie plan for a lot of the first year I was losing my weight back in 2015-2016. It worked very well for me. I loved having the high point day and it made the low point days more tolerable. Thanks for mentioning this, I think I need to sit and do some calculations and come up with my daily points spread out over a week period and have some high, some medium and some low days. That might work for me again. Hope you all have a great week!

Good morning
cj59, I liked the high point days and the low point ones were hard, but I did it. I think I lost about 25 pounds doing it. I have such big # ranges in my weight. This is absolutely the highest I have ever been. I don't know why I can't get it together this time. I'm not giving up though!!
