DebDoesWW, glad you got things working. What you described in your email to me sounds so weird—I’ve never heard of anything like that before on an iPad. The blind guy has an hour window that starts in 12 minutes, so no progress on that front yet. I planned Split Pea soup for later in the week, but it is cold and dreary with rain coming later this afternoon, so it feels like a soup day. I came home from my WW meet-up and got the soup going in the InstantPot. I’m sitting here now waiting for it to cool enough to be able to eat it. Yum! I will be making Beef Bourgogne this afternoon for dinner. Also in the InstantPot. An easy-peasy cooking day! I will be taking tomorrow off from Library volunteer work to concentrate on pick things up around the house. I have a kitchen designer coming on Wednesday to get ideas on redoing the kitchen and my master bath. My kitchen is 55 years old, and with all the cooking classes I’ve taken and my passion for cooking, I think I need something fabulous. The master bath is even more dated than the kitchen and the floor is very “creaky,” so something needs to be done soon. I hope I won’t have to become a Walmart greeter to pay for this! jamescat1, I drove down Highway 1 yesterday from Santa Cruz to see if the product stand I mentioned was still there. Unfortunately, it has folded. So no artichokes. The roadside stands heading down the coast, as well as the store(s) in Castroville, offer no bargains. I did continue down the coast to Carmel and had a visit with a friend before returning to the valley. It was interesting that once I got over the hill to the coast in Santa Cruz my respiration and sinuses seemed to improve. I guess I escaped a lot of allergens when I left the Valley.

Thanks a bunch zazzles, was the weirdest thing. Could not get rid of the dang thing and all the usual tricks weren’t working. My son goes to all these weirdo gaming type sites and nothing! I go here, crochet sites and news and I get that freaking “congratulations” BS. Of course he had to tease me about the sites I go to. 🤣🤣
