Good morning Spring Ladies!!
No sunshine here today and the rain should be starting anytime now. We are Supposed to get rain today, tonight and tomorrow no sunshine till Sunday and then it will be cooler out this weekend. High only 48° for Saturday and Sunday. High Today will be 64°. Jack has camping with the boy scouts this weekend and it will be cold at night. I wonder if they will cancel it because it won't be any fun in the rain and cold.
My favorite TV shows during the day are Young & The Restless, General Hospital and Days Of Our Lives soaps!!!! I set our DVD to record them every week for me. I set in the TV room at night and watch them and fast-forward the commercials!!! I also like to watch hallmark Movies In the evening. I don't watch any other regular TV programs anymore. I do watch Netflix and Amazon Prime movies sometimes. Rob watches both of those in the evening. Ted watches all the learning programs on dish and Barn wood builders on his TV. I like to set and read during the day and not watch tv anymore.

My morning drifted by slowly today. but I am up, dressed and moving. Pressed off a couple of things, paid some early bills and decided to skip breakfast. it is not my favorite meal anyway. Unless it comes at night.
Thanks Linda for the April name and thank you Cat for adding her. I will do so on my list as well.
Kathie, the love the blanket this month. Can't wait to see what you come up with for April.
I have not gotten a new appliance in quite awhile and almost scared to say that!! I am a person that doesnt' like all the bells and whistles for myself but always enjoy seeing what new stuff they add to the appliances. My DDs love all the bells and whistles. Think I am the only one without a push button flush toilet. LOL
QOTD I actually like quite a few programs on TV I tend to record them so I can FF past the commercials and get to watch 2 for the time of one. Love NCIS, Chicago Fire, Project Runway but usually FF to just the end the see the run way and who gets saved and eliminated. New shows I really like Whiskey Cavalier The Enemy Within Proven Innocent The Innocent.
Don't tell too many people but am addicted to Walking Dead. I know don't say it!! But even watch the Talking Dead afterwards in case I missed some nuances. My Kids all know it but just shake their heads.
My other guilty pleasure is Sister Wives.
When watching TV I am usually doing something else, going through my mail, checking catalogs and pitching most of them. Paying bills, can't just sit there and watch, never have been able to, DH used to say will you just sit down and watch with me.!!
I think there are so many neat things our kids are learning in school. Love the idea of coding. I don't think my Grandkids even had that in school. They are all in their 20's and early 30's so think their new thing was learning computer. and the DDs even went back to school for computer science after graduating college. Hard to keep up with technology these but think we are doing pretty well.

PeggySue, We have a huge Boy Scout Jamboree camping out outing here in our area in the winter with the snow and cold and they boys say they love it. Did you see where Boy Scouts is now open to girls?? wonder how that will change the name etc. Will the boys want to join the Girl Scouts ? or will they just combine the 2 at some point. Inquiring minds want to know.

A while ago we went to put the dogs out in the yard and discovered it was hailing. They went out anyway and quickly came in with their backs covered with ice. I'm ready for some nice spring weather, but it looks like I'll have to wait a while.

I started washing the bedroom windows this morning but I won't get very far - I'm tired already. Well more like my back is bothering me so once the current window is done I'll quit for today.
We had a nice visit with my sister & her DD yesterday. Sis wasn't tired, like other times when we have been there, so she visited more. We had lunch with her in the dining room of the facility where she is living. The food is pretty good. My brother didn't feel good enough go with us. It is getting harder for him to go.
I don't watch TV much especially when here at the house. In the RV I seldom "watch" it but do listen on occasion. When I do watch it is usually a documentary on PBS. I do like to watch the political conventions, the debates & the results as they come in on election day. I could easily live without a TV.

I live very well without TV. When DH was living he fussed at me for reading while a show was on.

afternoon spring and happy friday, I can honestly say I feel so much more like myself today. I must have had a little bit of virus.I don't think it was all from the corsione injection.lack of sleep did not help.
I even spent a couple of hours at my sewing machine.al l I can say is what a difference since the inflamation is out.
my favorite tv program is the GOOD DOCTOR. rest oft he week is channel surfing to find something.
I miss the old hallmark movies good witch, sign sealed and delivered, love comes softly. back to you and me.
now they want you to subscribe to that channel, instead they made that channel a movie mystery channel. thanks alot hallmark.
I'm not into mysteries. no reason why they couldn't have given us all 3 hallmark channels.
least that is my honest opinion.
I know some of you here like that channel.watching fo rrobbins phyl

Hi!
We got up early and drove to OKC to be there for DGS's geography Bee. While he participated, DH and I visited with DSisIL. Then we all went out to lunch. When DH and I got home (about 3:30) we sat down to nap. Woke up an hour later.
TV shows: (on Netflix) NCIS, Death in Paradise, British Baking show, Escape to the country, Escape to the Continent. Regular tv -- This is Us, Blue Bloods
Tomorrow I may think better. Diane

Hello again!
Diane, I "binge watched" Death in Paradise once. Do they have new shows, or did it end? I liked the first guy who was in charge. Was sorry when the pretty girl left.
We took the girls home about 4 p.m. And they are having their sleepover tonight. Papa and I are relaxing. The girls aren't to watch much TV, so we are limited in what we can watch while they are here. The news is especially something DD and DSIL do not want them to watch. I had the last half hour of GMA on this morning, and DGD#2 was reading the ribbon at the bottom. She read that a 5th grade girl had been killed in a fight at school . . . .
I finished a book tonight and started another.
See you tomorrow! ~~Mollyann

QOTD: None!.....Jim watches Mash, and Raymond....and whatever is on that channel. He listens to radio more. I turn off both radio and TV when he is sleeping. I enjoy the quiet. When my DH#1 passed, the TV wasn't on until I had a boyfriend. Hearing the same programs over and over and over I have them memorized and know what they are going to say before they say it. I haven't been to see a movie since my children were little and we went to see the Disney movies.
Found out today the stove is on back order and will be shipped the week of April 15th, which is fine because my tenants don't move in until the 1st of May. Gives me plenty time to clean the old one really well before then. I did the burners today and will use oven cleaner on the inside in a couple days or maybe even tomorrow -- we'll see.
Jim opted NOT to take his bath today so I'll nag him tomorrow. Because Bobbie won't be here to bathe him until Monday at the beach house.
I have point 6(.6) pounds left to loose my whole 2#'s before the end of the month....so, 2 more days.....Not sure if I'll make it but not worrying about it either. I changed my stats today so the next place I go is into the 180's...yippee!
Tucking you all in now in LIGHT GREEN BLANKETS WITH A RAINBOW IN THE MIDDLE OVER A PILE OF GOLD SHAMROCKS!....sweet dreams!
Spring in my Step - Kathie
