Ann It is good to be walking the twists and turns of this journey with friends!
Audrey What color is the base of your vase and the flower? What a eclectic group of talented artists.

Eldest DD is here, eldest son is on his way.
Two DD's wiped out the rest of youngest DD's closet and room.
Now, I get to play in my own closet and other places.

KOKO today. The snow has melted off sidewalks, drive way, and patio. No shoveling needed. Iām using my awareness glasses as I eat today. Finishing up laundry today and continuing to aim for blue.

Susi You have walked off any of your indulgences.I am sure this has seemed like a very short trip to you.I imagine eating at Bobby Flay's Mesa Diner was delicious.Safe travels home.
Ann I agree on everyone here being so nice and supportive.I do enjoy my time with this group.
Audrey Thanks for sharing that site.Beautiful work.
Ann I love how supportive and king our group here is also. You are actually warmer than we are today. It's 61 and although they sky is getting a little lighter looking it's been cloudy all day and it rained while we were eating out.I don't think we had any rain at home.Anyway it's way to windy to walk although I would like to but it's the recumbent bike today.
We went to the cattle auction diner and they always have their specials written on a chalk board.Today was of course chicken fried steak and fried catfish.I don't remember the last time I ate anything fried and it didn't sound appealing so I asked for a menu.I wasn't expecting to find chicken on a menu at a cattle auction(LOL)but they had a grilled chicken salad so I ordered it with regular Italian dressing.I knew they wouldn't have any light dressings and it was the best grilled chicken salad I have eaten. So I still have points for dinner and a light snack.

geminigrl I am so glad your parents enjoyed their combined birthday and the tee shirts. I know you and I have birthdays close together and you were sad on yours last year so let's virtually celebrate together this year and invite the rest of our group to join us. Mine is June 7th. Think about it. Becky, I hope you had a nice lunch out today. Ann, staying in can be just as good. Yes, you will get to your happy zone but your good health is the happiest goal you can attain. Susi, hope the trip is as lovely as your photos. You have so many good times with family and friends. Have a safe uneventful flight home and I hope you can rest tomorrow. MJ I hope your appliance repair wait for Miss Mouse was cancelled so you and Toots could just relax. I had a fabulous day. We bought great groceries and then I went to Jeremy and Laura's to pick up 6 fresh eggs and 12 tomato plants Jeremy grew from seed. I dropped off 4 for our son who was cleaning his garage today. DH and I had lunch at the Vietnamese restaurant but I ordered non fried spring rolls. Half had vegetables and the other half had tiny shrimp rice noodles and lettuce. I am down 2.1 in spite of carby Friday so really having faith in what I am doing really does work. With the beautiful spring weather my steps have increased and on three days I had over 10,000. I finished my board report through April 1st so I will just add the rest of the month and May before I turn it in. I will be busier in the upcoming weeks.

Awesome job, Becky. Good for you asking for a menu Another win win to have left over points Audrey how nice that you got those tomato plants and the fresh eggs. I never had fresh eggs but I know that people who do say there is nothing like the taste. Glad you enjoyed the Vietnamese Restaurant. There used to be a really awesome one in Worcester when I lived there. We had a Vietnamese couple living beside us at the time, and they treated us. Unfortunately the restaurant burned down. The ended up moving to Florida and we lost touch. Wow Becky can't believe that our temps were warmer than yours! We walked the hood and then bumped into another couple out with their two dogs so we ended up walking again as we chatted. By the time I got home, I was exhausted. Whenever I looked at my Garmin pedometer and saw over 17,000 steps I nearly passed out! Sheesh. No wonder my poor feet and legs are sore! I will take it easy tomorrow. Rest well all and sweet dreams!

Holy cow, Becky. That's cold for you guys. At least it's just for a short time!!!!! I love 70's weather. Not a fan of high heat and especially humidity. Unfortunately it gets quite humid here in the summer. All I can say is TG for AC I am now going to mosey on over to the sectional ... and recline with my feet up!
