Good morning! No duck eggs at the farmers market Got some nice turnips, a bunch of carrots that are kind of small, no tomatoes yet -next month the vendor said, and some pasture chicken eggs. They grew over the last month but too many craft vendors now. My idea of a farmers market is produce and eggs lol. We skipped the food truck thing. I really wasn't that interested and we drove by and traffic/parking was a nightmare anyway. I told DH if he really wanted to go we could, but he was like "I thought YOU wanted to go?" lol - I thought HE did!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today sunrose - I'm glad you were able to get your yard cut yesterday and hope you get to the weeds today. DotRen - That's funny about the food trucks I agree with you on what a Farmer's market is, a lot of them do have too many craft booths. Sounds like you did get some good food. Sorry you couldn't find the duck eggs. It's funny that you should mention them, I was at a quilt store yesterday and one of the customers there said she had just delivered a bunch of eggs to a local market - some were duck eggs! I got in my walk this morning and hope to eat some healthy foods today. Just wish I wasn't eating junk too. I really want to be done with these bad eating habits but I guess I haven't reached my breaking point yet. Have a great day!

cj59, duck eggs are great. I get them for Murray though since he can eat duck. They're his Sunday treat lol -he loves to break the yolk. We went to the vet yesterday because he's got a couple of spots on his tummy again. We're 99% sure it's environmental, like him laying in the grass with all the spring pollens. I tried to call in and just get a refill on the keflex, but "his" vet was out and the one that was taking her patients wanted to see him. Oh and great news: He's at 107 pounds! He's losing around 1.5 pounds every 2 weeks, a good steady rate. So he started at 120 in December, he was at 117 when we saw this vet in January, changed his diet in Feb and he's been doing great on it.

Good morning
dotren, that is awesome that Murray is losing weight slowly. The duck eggs sound like a good treat for him.
cj59, it is hard breaking the bad eating habits. I almost bought jellybeans the other day, but resisted.

My friend in Florida has a nice market she goes too. Veggies, honey, goat soap/creams, plants, just a nice variety of things.

Hello Everyone DotRen - I'm glad to hear Murray is doing well with his weight loss. I think I mentioned I had a dog that had some seasonal grass skin allergies, so I feel for you dealing with that. sunrose - good for you passing up the jelly beans - one more week and all the Easter candy will be gone I thought you all might enjoy watching/listening to this sweet YouTube video I found yesterday: www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7JGMeZ2g3QHope everyone is doing well today and on their programs.

Good morning
cj59, I just watched the youtube--how sweet. Great voices!
Doing so, so here. I have a darn mouse in the house again. Ugh! I hate those critters. Bad storms here last night. High winds today. More yard work today. Finally did get out yesterday and got some things done.

cj59, great video! There were a couple of great voices in there! sunrose49, The vets are perplexed because he never scratches -like ever. You know how most dogs will scratch on and off through the day? He gives about a 5 second scratch to behind his right ear and left armpit in the morning and that's it most of the time, and maybe 1-2 more of the same duration the rest of the day. The vets said with the allergies he should be itchy lol -but he's not. I put him bacon on antihistamines last week because he actually scratched himself 4 times, that's the only signal that he's getting a flairup if we don't physically see the plaques (this vet clinic calls them something else, calcettes?) starting to form lol. Deb started a Keto Chat forum here in the On Plan section that's great Since I do low-carb and keto(ish), I don't feel like I'm kind of the odd man out on a WW board. I started to think I should stop posting, but I really like this site and all of you

Hello Everyone
sunrose - Hope you get rid of the mouse. I had one in my house right after Christmas, that was the first one in many years. I put out the old fashioned traps with peanut butter on them and caught it. I don't mind mice in general, they just need to live somewhere other than my house
DotRen - I'm glad you have a thread you can post in. Please don't think you don't fit in. I don't feel like I'm doing a plan that anyone else is doing either, but it's the general support I receive here that means so much to me
I got my walk in this morning, I'm trying to do that each day. The rest of my eating has been so-so. I'm starting to reach that point where I'm just disgusted with myself that I've gained weight back and tired of losing the energy I had when I was smaller. So I need to get back on a good plan again.
I found myself getting excited reading the ideas some of the posters have of a new plan that WW could start. There were a few mentioned that I'd love to do. I know I can make up my own plan, but it sure would be nice for someone else to set it all up for me.
Hope everyone else checking in is doing well on their plans.

Good morning
DotRen, please keep posting. I think we are all on different plans. My dog will probably start her allergies soon. ugh
cj59, I need to check out the new ideas. I'm not sure how much I love the current one, but then I don't really follow it the way I should.

Off to do my walk.

cj59, we get mice every few years. It's never just 1! I swear, we have some escaped super lab mice or something. We have to try all different kinds of baits and traps to catch them. I like old fashioned victor ones because they're quick for the mouse, but most of the time we have to resort to something like an electric or sticky trap, which I hate because I don't want them to suffer Hopefully your weather is going to be nice so you can get your walks in sunrose49, I hope your dog has less allergies this time. If they could tell us what's wrong, it would help a lot

Good morning
dotren, it would be nice if they could tell us how they feel. So far, so good. I'm sure it will start up soon though.
I did catch two mice in the past week. Ugh
Going for a walk on the towpath this morning and more yard work.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today I've been doing pretty much the same thing this week as the last few. The last few days I haven't had as much energy, but I still try to get my walking in. I went out on Tuesday and Wednesday to run errands, so I could get all that done before the holiday. I like to stay home on holidays to avoid all the people and traffic. Does anyone have any holiday weekend plans? Hope no one has any food challenges, or if they do that you can handle them well. I haven't planned any special meal this year, since it will just be me. Take care everyone!

Cj I hear you about people being nutso on holiday weekends. Tomorrow is another Murray day lol - nail grind at the groomer and then a bath at home. The groomer we've used since he was a puppy sold the business in January, and Murray was very fond of her. He liked this new one well enough doing his nails, but with the medicated shampoo that has to sit on him 10-15 minutes, we'd rather do it here and make sure it's staying on him that long. I'm sure she would do if it we asked, but while he as an active skin thing going on, I'd rather be sure. I was thinking about the smaller farmers market Saturday, but I see they're doing an Easter special one with a lot of baked goods, breads, etc- I think I'll pass on the temptations lol.
