He really is losing it. I think there is much more coverup going on within the WH to keep him from showing signs of mental decline. That definitely would not surprise me. In all seriousness it just still amazes me that people can listen to him and believe what comes out of his mouth. You'd think anyone with any sort of grip on reality at all would see through him instantly. One thing I have learned from his tenure, there are a LOT of stupid, crazy people out there--a lot more than I had ever imagined possible.

You'd think anyone with any sort of grip on reality at all would see through him instantly. There you have it! He's not acting any different as far as I can see. When he announced he was running he behaved the way he does now. During the tv reality show we called the Republican debates he was exactly the same. An unqualified puffed up, rude, crude, and indifferent fat cat seeking adoration, applause, as well as votes and love from simple minds who sadly believed the Democrats were working for the Devil and he was chosen by their God to lead them to the promised land. Also to destroy the Earth and usher in a new and improved planet. PTL! He was even more rude and crude when he debated Hillary. Slithering around in back of her like he was stalking her. Sick basturd! Anybody honestly believe he sought this position for the good of The People? To make our lives better, more secure, and productive? IMHO, he's the Jim Jones type. Make people believe their lives are unbearable and promise you, and only You, will make it all better. H L Mencken said it best. "As democracy is perfected, the office of the president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the the plain folks of the land will reach their hearts desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

Have you noticed lately, especially, how often he repeats words & phrases over & over in just a few minutes if not seconds. It was a "coup", "no collusion, no obstruction", "angry Democrats", "evil FBI", "crooked Hilary", etc....over & over & over. "Wise men speak because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something." Plato

DT is in Wisconsin today in Green Bay .I detest him and he would never dare show up in Madison where I live. There are protestors in Green Bay. I am interested in the Democratic debates at the end of June on 2 days. I have no idea yet who I prefer. Maybe the debates will help.

I'm looking forward to our debates too. I like them all. Some more than others.
The down side is I no longer believe in fair elections. Anything can and probably will be hacked. Fixed.
I wish I didn't feel this way but I do.

Pat, I think we have all lost a lot of faith in both our election system and our government overall. I keep hoping that the tide will turn. Some days I have little hope, other days I am more positive. I tell myself there is always hope.

Another lunatic shooting people while they worship their God.
We will talk about it for maybe 10 days. We will be outraged, shocked, and disgusted. We will send thoughts and prayers (basically nothing) to the families and friends of the victim and the injured.
We will hear stories about the lunatic and his troubled life. We will see and hear talking heads debate gun violence, gun ownership, mental illness, and the Constitution, etc.
We will talk and talk and talk and not take any action at all to rid our country of weapons specifically created to slaughter many people at the same time.
When this sad time has passed we will turn our attention to real problems. Things like immigrant families wanting to come here (only God knows why) to work and live and raise a family. You know that type of person. The hard worker willing to do jobs nobody else wants like putting food on our table. You know "those people" who come here with the clothes on their backs for a better life and no room for semi automatic weapons. They are a problem, aren't they?

Joyce, I'm happy you still have hope. I believe in your hope. That's the best I have right now. Lol. Hey, at least I believe in something. 🦅

More senseless violence. May God have mercy on all our souls because we don't rise up as one and stop this vicious, meaningless, cruel hatred. The blood is on us all, and yet I don't know what more as an individual I can do to stop it. All I know is that we can not give up. We have to keep pounding and pounding away at our elected leaders. We must keep speaking up louder and louder making our voices heard. We can not sit silently. We must make our elected officials come to actually believe that if they support the NRA, then we will not support them and follow through with that with our vote. You have an A rating with the NRA? Then you'll have to find a vote somewhere other than with me. You took a contribution from the NRA? Then you'll have to find a vote somewhere other than with me.
For the woman who lost her life protecting the Rabbi, may she rest in peace. Prayers of comfort for her family and for all those affected by this awful tragedy, but prayers alone will not stop the violence. We have to act as one voice rising up.

Kurt had no idea...

I think the most disheartening thing is knowing that despite the collective will of the body politic, the GOP sees value in purposely not working to solve these two issues. Comprehensive immigration reform and common sense gun laws will languish in obscurity as long as conservative leadership can use them as wedge issues for political gain.

This made me laugh! One is about as true as the other, although I'd come closer to believing the one on the right than the one on the left.

"Washington Post says Trump has topped 10,000 false or misleading statements"
That's not surprising. It'd be a lot easier to keep count of true statements he makes, and would be a far smaller number. Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single one.
What do you think? Will Barr or won't Barr actually show up for the hearing? It seems this administration thinks they can totally ignore Congress with impunity. Maybe they can. So far they've done a pretty good job of it.
