Good to see you here Anne! You've been missed. Not seeing anything new in the "news" this morning. Waiting on the Mueller report tomorrow, but not holding out a lot of hope that we'll actually see much. I wonder if there are any magic markers left in DC, or if Barr has used them all up in his redacting?

Mayor Pete is soooo cute.....do you think he is too young for me? I agree that he is a cutie. The more I see and hear from him, the more I like him. He seems to have it all: intelligence, well spoken, thinks quickly on his feet, gives off that "you can trust me" vibe, and just generally comes across as very likable. He's a breath of fresh air from what we have in Washington now, and to be honest his youth and vitality stand out very well juxtaposed against Biden and Bernie. I don't know how he'll come out in terms of the nomination, but absolutely he has a very bright political future ahead. It's amazing how quickly he has risen from virtual obscurity already. Mayor Pete is definitely someone to be reckoned with. Go Mayor Pete!

If all people look at is the economy, and it keeps steady, or gets better, then unfortunately he might have a good chance. It's pretty obvious that there are no repercussions for any of the horrible things he's done. His base continues to support him, and others just kind of look away as long as the economy stays good.
I hope I am wrong, I hope the Democrats can come up with a candidate that the entire party, and those unhappy with Trump, can support......and then we all get out and VOTE!

Business insider likes to wind people up, personally I am not listening to anyone quite yet. Too soon, and too many things can happen in 8 months let alone 19 months. Pouring everyone a nice cup of Chamomile tea, then going to get cooking for my boys.

OMG...Looks like a complete "s***show" for tomorrow's release of the Mueller Report aka Barr Report...A presser before the report comes out, the fact that WH & Lawyers have seen the report all week, Fake Prez announces Press Conference even before Barr, I mean what more proof do we need that this Prez, this AG are all criminals!

Linda, it's a dog and pony show. Every thinking person knows we won't hear or see any truth. At all. Ever. Every non thinking person knows it too, but they are perfectly okay with it because when thinking is not an option everything is cool dude. Until it's not.
Joyce, I like the thing about the magic markers. lol. I heard he used different colors for different topics to make it, "oh so pretty" for JA supporters. Lol. The whole damn thing is nothing but a joke anyway so why not?

I mean what more proof do we need that this Prez, this AG are all criminals! It's so bad that the people who normally could and would do something about all these criminals, like bring them to justice, are criminals themselves. When you have all the bases covered you win. Game over. Anne, make mine Long Island Ice Tea please. Thank you.

He definitely has a chance of reelection and he has an enormous war chest but, we cannot look at the economy without also looking at the deficit. Under his new tax law, the top 60 corporations paid zero (0) taxes. Under his new tax law, the deficit explodes 1.6 trillion. I don't think the stock market or low unemployment translates to a sense of economic well-being for the average person. And certainly not for the generation that will be stuck paying for it. All the economic good news is disproportionately experienced by the top 1-2%. yogamama007, do your bluebirds travel with northern flickers? Ours are never seen without the other birds for many years now. Good to see you here.

All the economic good news is disproportionately experienced by the top 1-2%. I definitely agree, Pam. Getting rid of the deficit used to be a rallying cry for Republicans, now they don't seem to care how high it goes, and anyone who actually looks can clearly see that everything he does is geared to helping large corporations and the very wealthy. On the surface the economy is doing well, but I don't give him any credit for that. President Obama turned the economy around, and this JA is just reaping the reward. Our children and grandchildren are going to be in serious trouble trying to pay for his gigantic deficit. Unfortunately a large percentage of people seem to only look at what's happening specifically to them at this specific time, and don't look any further. It's not going to be easy to defeat him, unless something changes. It can be done, but Democrats are going to have a hard fight I'm afraid. Off to a spring program at DGS's school, and then waiting to see all the pretty colors of the Mueller report, or maybe we should call it the Trump-Barr report.

Honestly the redacted report is much ado about nothing. They hid the pertinent parts and I sincerely believe it was under pressure to do it that way.

From what they do show, basically Trump tried to obstruct and bungled it because people didn't carry out his requests.
