I started the thread an hour ago and removed my comment. Not sure about Ann's i copied it but it has my photo.
I have a 10:30 a.m. appointment with the chiropractor and since it is way across town I will take Lily Belle on a short morning walk. Afterward though I will stop by the Italian deli, drop donations off at the thrift store and look for two glove eggplants for the yard. No school so I have a free afternoon. Dinner is grilled brined pork chops with salad and vegetables. I rode the bike 2 miles yesterday and will try to do more today. Continuing to get the house ready for Easter.

This was written by Ann on the post I started an hour before June's post here.
Hi Audrey. Thanks for getting us started for Monday. You have a full day planned.
Depending on the weather, we may or may not go to BJ'S Club and stop at Home Goods and TJ Maxx. I also have 4 bags to donate to the Survival Center.
I did meet and pass my Garmin goal today and ate within my points. Will do the same thing tomorrow.
Sleep well all.

Oops--- thanks Ann & Audrey. I do not know how I missed the Monday start.
Audrey Super! Good for you! Was thinking that I could think about how I could make riding my r bike more appealing. R moved it & the light is too poor for me to pedal and ride. You are like me, I do not wait to get a full trunk before I drop off donations.
Ann Hope that you find something special on your shopping trip. I, too, try to support the local woman's center w/ donations of clothes & toiletries.

Bob has a zillion ties from all the years he has worked. I keep asking him to pull out a few for my donation bag because the store gets a lot of male shoppers especially Hispanic ones who will wear a dress shirt and tie for Easter services. He keeps saying he doesn't have time. This is such a no brainer. They are on a double rack in his closet where he puts on and takes off clothes. Grrr
June, do you ever listen to podcasts? I have heard wonderful ones on my phone and can see myself listening now while I ride the bike as I used to listen to music on an iPod Otherwise it is very boring for me. I am listening to Blackout narrated by Remi Malek who starred in Bohemian Rhapsody. This is when I have long drives in the car. I listened to one about Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos and about the Lularoe pyramid scheme.
Becky, i am glad you enjoyed the chili. You have to allow yourself the joy of eating out and just getting out. We are so lucky we are not shut ins.

I finished taxes yesterday online. Went to TurboTax and filled in the questions as they popped up then had to go BACK over things because the questions didn't really hit all of the 1040 lines the way I expected. Anyway...forms in and accepted at state and federal levels.
It is gray and rather gloomy outside. We need to go buy some groceries, produce and cat food today. I need too call the dishwasher service department and have them send someone out...the machine ends the cycle BUT keeps making a draining the water noise and flashes and beeps at me so...something is wrong. I hope to walk but may end up doing something active inside instead.
I am willing to:
* Write what I bite * Hydrate * Make healthy balanced choices * do something active today * might make some seitan for the week ahead...maybe?

Good morning, June - Audrey - Ann - Becky - Cathy - and AWF!!!
Prayers continue... esp for our ailing posters & Loved Ones... and those under particular stress... and {{{HUGS}}}... and thankYouThankYouTHANKYOU for your prayers for me and my family...
π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄
We had a wake-me-up-worthy T-storm sometime after 2:30 AM and apparently it's not over yet. I'm still seeing lightning out there... shiny! But by 9 AM it will just be cloudy and breezy and in the 50*s.
Yesterday's "recovery day" was still pretty busy - Edible Arrangements, Walgreens for cards, CVS for a prescription, then Sunday Steak Dinner, the wake, and a stop at the post office to mail the sympathy card signed by all our YMs for their fellow member whose grandfather died. Some yard work (by Toots) and laundry wrapped up the day.
Today's DivaTaxi run was modified - North Jersey Coast Line is CLOSED due to a tree on the tracks south of here, so all trains currently cancelled. I took Son#1 to the Rahway station, to catch the Main Line. Next, we'll have a modified MHMR (MousekeTWO is off so we will have him with us all day), LA-Fitness at 11 AM (the only appt I could get, when I tried to book), and I expect that there will be chicken to cook up. Not sure about the Kressling's soccer practice, though - it will depend on the weather and field conditions.
I got a summons for FEDERAL Grand Jury and have to send back my piece of it. Not in love with the idea of this, esp before the school year is out (would be better in the Fall; some things change up for that school year).
Got my coffee... βββ... but moving slow... π’
π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄ Have a healthy-eating day, all. π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄π΅π΄

June, I shall join you in KOKO.
Audrey, sounds like a busy day. Enjoy it. Speaking of ties. My BF's sons used to work for a men's store. They bought many ties. When the owner retired, she had them go through their ties they no longer wanted, and made a quilt for him. It was gorgeous.
Ann, enjoy your venture out. Hope you find some great bargains. I also have a bunch of stuff to donate.
Becky, I have never had chili on a salad. Sounds interesting. Your day sounds like a good plan also.
Cathy, glad your taxes are done. Sounds like you also have a well planned day.
My only plan today is to get the chemo eye drops filled --- I start them again Thursday. The only compounding pharmacy here in town said at first no, then when I rechecked, they said yes. So, if the second isn't right, I will have to travel 1 1/2 hours out of town either west, northwest or east. So no real plans otherwise for me today.
I am once more WILLING and trying to be AWARE of drinking my water.
If I ever get to college, I want to do a thesis on why it is so hard for me to remember to drink water.
The carpet has been pulled up in all places. I am now sleeping and living in my bedroom and kitchen. I just know God has a plan.
Hope ALL have a great day!

Becky KOKO -- is a solid plan any day! Yep-- we gotta wash that extra sodium right out of our body. (Ripping off the musical, "South Pacific.") I also retain a little water after eating some meals out. The restaurants can have a heavy hand when it comes to salt. Enjoy your walks. You have quite a busy day planned.
Audrey Oh those husband's... they sometimes hold onto things for reasons we do not understand. R keeps extra extra drills, tool chests, and do on.. Thx for the suggestion. I might enjoy a podcast. I should give that a try.
Cathy Wahoo! Good to get those taxes done before the deadline & avoid the need to file for an extension.
Love it--- write what I bite!

Good morning June. Sounds like a reasonable plan. Sounds like a busy morning but some nice down time in th afternoon Audrey. I would give Tony a reasonable timeline to get stuff done but then would get done what needed to get done. If he didn't like it, the next time he did take care of it. Good job on meeting your goals Ann! Hope you slept well. Becky - That was still a good choice despite the sodium. Have a great day. Good job on finishing your taxes Cathy! Hope you can get out today. You call that a "recovery day" MJ? LOL. We just got the light show around 3-4 a.m. Rain stopped about 20 minutes ago and it is clearing up. Bee - Love the idea of the quilt. Hope you can get those drops today. I didn't realize you were having the flooring redone? I didn't accomplish much yesterday but at least the thatch is all trimmed up. Breakfast out before our friends left was wonderful. Had a nice visit DGF in the afternoon. All the furkids got spoiled with LO sirloin steak from the ball. And me as well LOL. More will be repurposed into a salad for lunch. My pump sprayer died so I need to get a new one for my natural week killer. 2nd batch of eggs is in the IP for deviled eggs for Saturday. Need to shower and get to work.

Good morning all. Audrey thanks for posting my message here I slept well, just not long enough. The rain woke me up twice. We also lost power at some point...long enough to have to reset some of our clocks. Dontcha LOVE when that happens??? Our plans for going to BJ's will wait till tomorrow. No need to travel that distance in the rain. June great goals for today. Audrey/June I've never listened to podcasts either. Will have to look into that and thanks for the suggestion Cathy glad you'll get your taxes out today. LOL Bee on going to college to remember to drink water KOKO for me as well today.
Susi glad your rain stopped. Hopefully ours will also.
Waving to all and hope everyone has a good OP Monday! MJ I also have to serve jury duty. My 'appointment' is to show up on 5/2! Oh well........

Mj Good that you can juggle lots of variables in any given day. Nice that unexpected babysitting duties will not disrupt your training schedule. Will you pull out your FuzzyLogic or send Toots out to pick up a rotisierre chicken? Thx for reminding me that I need to set aside some of my turkey breast for a future day we have to scramble. Am freezing cooked turkey breast today. I freeze it in quart-size freezer size so that I can make a dinner for 2,4, or 6.
R & I both have been called to be part jury duty 3 times, but never have had to serve. You might have been intrigued by the federal jury experience if you had time.
Bee j Sending up a prayer that the local RX can compound the eye drops. Ha ha ha... changing habits can be a challenge even when it is something that seems like it should be easy peasy. That kind of disruption in your "space" can be hard, especially if you have to wait for someone else to do the work.

Susi Love that you had a lovely girlfriends' afternoon and have tasty leftovers for all. R likes to use l/o steak w/ eggs for his breakfast. What do you use for natural weed killer? How Does it work? Ha ha ha... R might have a spare sprayer in the garage...
