No to most sweets. I'm slowly losing my cravings for sweet things but I don't try to test myself too much. I'm also improving in eating less when we go out. Just because something is on my plate doesn't mean I should eat it.

I say yes to my WW meetings and my online support, weighing and measuring, and keeping the foods I need in the house. I say no most of the time to overeating and sweets. Right now I'm in the midst of a portion creep session and working my way back.

Monday, 02/21 What are you learning to say yes to and what are you learning to say no to? Reminder: Review starts Friday. I'm learning to say yes to cooking at home nearly all the time, with the exception of 1-2 (2 max) meals out per week, but usually it's one meal out per week. At my heaviest we'd think nothing of eating out for weekend breakfast, lunch, sometimes even dinner Sat and sometimes part of Sunday. It was ridiculous! I am also learning to say yes to regular exercise, to the point where now if I miss my gym time I feel bummed out, not because I love to work out - I still don't - but because I know its good for me both mentally and physically, for my weight loss, for eventual maintenance, and most of will help me to continue being active hopefully well into my late years. Oh and I am learning to say yes to "the sigh", that one's a work in progress though I always feel very pleased when I stop eating and leave over some food before I get too full.
I am learning to say no to cleaning my plate, both at home and especially in a restaurant. I am learning to say no to the need for desserts nightly. Right now, I'm trying to use fruit as my dessert and it's killed my desire for sweeter and pointier options. I am trying to say no to not tracking but that's also a work in progress!

No: ~ No. Don't try to get creative on the fly with the pre-planned menu. Just prepare and eat what you planned for today. (You are never as successful as you think you are.) ~ No. Don't force yourself to eat if you aren't feeling it. You know your "I'm hungry" meter is broken. (You could save those points for later.)
Yes: ~ Yes to a snack involving protein in lieu of carb. A 2-pt container of yogurt is a better choice than a 2-pt package of WW hummus chips. ~ Yes to fruit in lieu of chocolate. ~ Yes, that was the sigh. Stop.

Reminder: Review starts Friday. I'll miss the first week of the review. We are leaving on Friday to go on a cruise, and we will return March 6. I made a note in my WW weigh-in booklet to pick up some paper trackers in my meeting on Wednesday. I'll track as much as I can.

Judy & Beck crew, when exactly do we begin reading and what? I was thinking, maybe we should create another pinned thread in our Beck area, with just one post, which can be edited annually to reflect the three dates of the Beck Reviews that year, along with the actual start date to read the beginning, which I think happens before Day One, yes? Would that be helpful for folks?

We start this Friday with the Introduction, then a chapter a day for four days, then Wednesday, March 1st is Day 1 of the program.
I like your idea for the post and will get to it. I'm a bit slo-mo right now.
