I posted this on Sat. last on the BINGE ENDERS CHALLENGE thread:
What does everyone think of the new Activity, Weight, and Food Dashboard on the WW site? I'm not really happy with the loss of some built in movement controls that seem to have gone by the wayside. For instance there was a place where you could click in each meal that would automatically take you to the find box for the specific meal. There's not even any response to the Home, Pg Up, Pg Down and End keys. Also you can't open and close the listings of each meal. I found that made it easier to copy the info to my written journal by not having to scroll as often. It also seems like there are less overall graphics on the pages and the numbers, such as the total number of steps on a given day, are uncomfortably small. On the positive side everything is accessible from one page.
Most of the people on that thread aren't using the WW site though.
One other thing I've learned since reading this thread is that it now looks something like what's being seen on your phones. I don't have a Smart Phone so that wasn't an issue for me.

@beckyw2016 You may need to stand on your head and give a good Texas cheer to get your browser to change. Or, just wait a few days..... And, then, when you least expect it, it will change! LOL!! I don't think I will be standing on my head.LOL!I even checked IE and it's not updated there either but I'm happy with the original one anyway so the longer they don't realize I don't have it the longer I have with the original one.

I can't believe it but My Day finally changed for me.It was the same this morning and when I came on after lunch there it was.I may keep it that way to get used to it.They must have said "Oh yeah,we forgot someone."At least I'm online only and didn't get that darn retraction you meetings members got.

Late to the show…I came home at lunch and found that I now have the new home page.
First impressions:
- It is a cleaner design
- The height of the dashboard portion of the tracker is HUGE; makes scrolling down the page to look at meal entries necewssary.
- The meals themselves can’t be collapsed so you can focus in on the current or a particular meal.
- The message that appeared at the top with a link to return to the previous look & feel suggests to me that this is really a Beta test prior to the January influx of new members.
- The page that appears when you track a food is unnecessarily large, again forcing scrolling down a lot to see the actual nutritional information.
But I’ll adapt and get over it.

Are you saying that the "new" homepage on the WWer website looks exactly like the mobile app? If so, mine still hasn't changed. I don't use the app, but I do have it installed, so I took a look at it. They aren't the same for me.

zazzles @beckyw2016 luanne My PC web page changed yesterday around noon. That must be the time the part-time high school kids show up to work! LOL! Mike, I agree with your assessment of the new page and hope they will refine some of it. I like the weight and activity tabs. I didn't catch that this might still be a beta testing site. I didn't see anything about letting them know what we think....guess they don't want our input!

I didn't see anything about letting them know what we think....guess they don't want our input! Well, after the heat they took last year when the forced everybody to use buggy Beta software, I can imagine that they don't want to characterize this change as a test. But, in reality, don't they always use the existing paying members as Guinea Pigs for their new plans and ideas prior to the new crop of people joining in January?
One additional change I noticed after my post is that they removed the weight in grams for servings in the nutritional information section. It used to be possible to select, say, 1 cup of green beans, see what that weighed in grams, then weigh out that many grams of green beans on the scale. It was very helpful for precision, and I consider it virtually mandatory for cooking recipes. In fact, I have two recent scale products, Perfect Kitchen and Drop, which work with the iPad (and maybe Android, too) where the recipes lead you through preparing them using the scale and food weights. They are rather neat in a geeky sort of way.
And, Linda, the high school kids comment cracked me up—reminded me of all the fun threads last year at this time.

zazzles Mike, I hope they return the gram part for weighing. I prefer it. Yea, last year around this time was fun, in a not-so-funny way, when we were complaining about SP and trying to figure things out. Let's hope 2017 is a calmer year for WW. ETA: Mike, I just checked "green beans" in my tracker and I was able to track using oz., grams, pounds, cups, Tbsp and tsp. Where did you see it was gone?

I did a post on my blog (my website is in my profile) where I put in a lot of screenshots of the new My Day page and a lot of the pages you can select. Overall, I do like it but there are few things I wish were different. I did send in Feedback about those.

I didn't notice until someone here posted that there is an option in the top right hand corner that lets you go back to the old view if you wish. I kind of like the new look.
I was online only from 2007-2012 and returned last November. I was back on PP for about two weeks when the change happened and all of that stuff broke lose. Here I was trying to wrap my head around points again, they change and the site goes squirrelly. At least I am long back in the game if it wonks out. It was like a circus!
I too chuckled at the high school students. I know kids that would never have had that mess. Ah...those were the days...
