Hoping the scent of fresh coffee helps diva49 find the thread 🤣 Morning everyone! This is a daily thread to keep our heads in the game, please feel free to hop on in and introduce yourself. We love new folks! I am in! Tracked and ready to hit the ground running. Supposedly going to be a wild storm but now it is not hitting until tonight so I had to update the title. 🤣 Have a great day everyone! 🌼🦋⛈🌱☕️

Good morning! A lovely but cooler day today---great for exploring plant nurseries! Spring is truly busting out all over. It seems like the flowering trees have exploded in the last week. Grass is green and lush and has already been mowed three times. A little sore from the gym yesterday but I guess you are supposed to be, once in a while? Much to my surprise I actually look forward to going to the gym. Who'da thunk it. Wishing all a peaceful day---stay dry, DebDoesWW!

DebDoesWW We are expecting rain this morning and again this afternoon. I guess it will head your way after our 100 percent chance is through with us. We have a light mist now. Of course we have to go grocery shopping and to Wal-Mart today hopefully between showers. I will take a pot of coffee to go please.

HI all, I'm in and tracked. Today is the first of two days of math testing. Yuck!
I see my lady doctor and then I teach the puberty class- but there is no one registered. So I just show up for and hour and go home. This is a good program and it's needed. We've only had one girl and one boy all year. It's so disappointing.
Have a good day everyone

A little sore from the gym yesterday but I guess you are supposed to be, once in a while? Much to my surprise I actually look forward to going to the gym. Who'da thunk it. I look forward to my two PT sessions each week. It's personal training but I consider it to be physical therapy. My current trainer (#6 since December; <please, God> that THIS one sticks) says that I should ache 24-48 hours after a session. Mostly, she's right.

Good morning all! I'm IN also and planned but not yet tracked for the day. Watching the weather guessers on TV and planning for rain tonight. I still need to buy basil plants for my pots but I think I'll not put them in until the bad weather is gone.
Talk about poor planning. One of the major interstate freeways, I-10, will be closed west of Houston all weekend as they continue enlarging the roads and they are demolishing a bridge there this weekend. The problem is the MS-150 bike ride that also happens this weekend. There will be over 12,000 bicyclists riding from Houston to Austin. They ride country roads but there will be hundreds of cars driving I-10 to get to Austin to pick up the participants. With the freeway closed, the detours and back-ups will be huge. I'm glad I'm not planning any trips west of Houston this weekend.
I'm heading to the WW meeting today. Happy Hump Day, y'all.

My current trainer (#6 since December; <please, God> that THIS one sticks) says that I should ache 24-48 hours after a session. Yep, that seems about right. But I am increasing my reps and the weight plates and find it satisfying when I am able to do that. The little bit of achiness is worth it. So funny when I follow some young guy who is lifting massive amounts of weight on the circuit machines. I am like "WOW." Not so funny when I forget to move the weight plate pin and settle in to do the first repetition and feel like I have hit a wall, lol! Happy that we made the decision to join the Y. It is the right environment for us and I feel really good about finally doing something positive in the exercise department.

I'm in. Good morning all!
I'm heading out on a few errands and will try to check back later. Hope our Texas friends have no problems with the big storm. It's gorgeous here today. Ahem, except for the coating of pollen on everything.
Enjoy the day!

Good morning. Some soreness is a good thing! Means you worked! It actually warmer here today because the wind is not coming off the ocean like yesterday. Rain totally missed us last night.

Good morning. I’m in. Nothing planned for the day so far. The high temp is about 90° so this is not weather I want to do anything outside or remotely physical. Of all the items WW offers for purchase, the one I settled on to use my WINS points was the soup mug. These mugs are glazed and HUGE, holding at least 2 cups. They are great for eating soup, stew, etc. But this morning I used one (I got two with my accumulated WINS) to make scrambled eggs with cheese. I think they also will do well for instant oatmeal, containing it so that it doesn’t overflow in the microwave—I’ll try that in the next few days.
It is now time to hit the shower, get dressed, and figure out what to do with myself for the day.
Have a great day and KOKO.

Not so much the "while it's happening" but happy to know I'm partaking in an activity that benefits my health. Finally took a picture the other day after nearly 3 months of going 5 mornings a week (in my profile pic). I can finally see the results a little more visibly. The gym doesn't help me with weight loss much but it does help me to be more mindful of my eating since I'm putting so much work into the exercise component.

DebDoesWW and linda72 If you are getting what we have had so far today it would be best to stay at home tonight. We are in a lull until around 3:00 or so but while we were in town this morning the bottom fell out.I don't know how much we got here so far because it was still coming down at the time.Be careful.
