Like Linda & 100, ditto. Walmart originally was the only place I could find it but I'm seeing it in more supermarkets now.

100gone I have a funny story about Calif. Olive Ranch Co. I buy the large chef size bottle of EVOO. When I first open it, I have to be very careful not to have the oil squirt out the top. Just squeezing the bottle to pick it up causes it to shoot out the top (think volcano) I got frustrated and found an email address on the back of the bottle so I wrote them. To my surprise, a very nice email came back in a couple of hours and the woman sent me 4 coupons because of my problems. I wrote to thank her and included a picture of an old fashioned plastic thing used to hold a milk carton and suggested they offer something like that for their large bottles. She wrote back and said their VP of marketing/development took the picture to his department to study for their oil bottles! She also said they're trying to develop new bottles; maybe my email helped! Here is the picture I sent:

Linda I get the California Olive ranch at Costco. I too like to support American made products. I like the taste of the California Olive. Interesting about the shortage. There were suppose to be avocado shortages in places last year and I heard a report this year and then heard that it wasn't true. With all of the crazy news these days who knows what to believe.

Also mine is in a glass bottle. Interesting feedback that you got.

thyme2 I haven't seen the Calif. olive oil at Costco; I'll look next week when I go. I usually only see Kirkland's brand. I do like the Kirkland's Aged Balsamic Vinegar but the bottle (glass) is too tall to fit in my cabinet.

linda72 that's great that they responded! I know exactly what you mean because the big bottle is plastic. I pour it into my smaller glass bottle so that I'm less likely to spill it!

pbnj, I bought some the other day and anguished over the brands/prices. Ended up buying one that was under the Mazzola brand name. It seemed fine in the Kale chips I made with it.
