Hi all, Drinking a cup of cinnamon stick tea. I forget that I like flavored tea and the tea bags just sit there forever. Technically today is my 6th year life time anniversary, but I am 13-25 pounds over goal. Depends on if you go with my doctor's goal (13 pounds), the official WW goal that I actually obtained (20) or the lowest I hit-that was actually lower than I ever meant to be. A little disappointed in myself but I'm taking baby steps. * Logged into MFP for 20 days-not totally accurate but something is in there * Have done 30 minutes of floor stretching exercises every day this month-again at least it's something * thrown away at least 5 items a day to declutter the house-not weight related but helps with overall mental health * cut back on drinking-went back to 2 days out of 7- not one drink every school night Goals to start *weighing and measuring are next- I definitely have portion distortion * aerobic exercise- even if it's done in 10 minute spurts that add up to 30 minutes * increase the water intake- this has really slowed down for some reason. So I'm disappointed but not totally depressed. I've got a plan Have a good day everyone

Morning all! Thank you for the start-up diva49 , what a handsome young man he is. Hope you find a few more sunbeams. hpeterson1951 , great job finding your way back Heather! I have found that leaving the scale /measuring cups out front and center really ups my game as far as portion distortion. I use the measuring cups to scoop things out. You know the drill, you've got this girl! I am in. Have a great day everyone! ☕️🦋🌼

Good morning all! diva49, you were up very early this morning. I hope the coffee helps and your day goes smoothly. hpeterson1951, congrats on your LT anniversary. I still weigh things occasionally and find I can't guess correctly on portions. Using a measuring cup for scooping cereal, etc. is helpful. DebDoesWW, isn't our weather lovely? I'm definitely enjoying this spring weather. Hope it continues! Happy Hump Day, y'all. Have a great day!

hpeterson1951 , congrats on your success and your determination to keep on going. It's tough... Good morning! SUNSHINE!!!! Still chilly but the sun is bright, the sky is blue, and big white clouds are floating above. FINALLY!! Nice breeze too so things should dry up a bit. DH is out there with the deck lattice and it is moving along nicely. I have a looooong list of gardening chores and will get out there in a little while. This calls for a lot of coffee and I slept a little late this morning but I will definitely take advantage of this beautiful day. Tomorrow should be more of the same and then rain on Friday. Oh, and remember how I said I wasn't going to buy any more plants? I forgot about the deck rail planters and the flower boxes on the shed so I had to buy a load of petunias for them. And I came home with this beauty---a calamansi tree that will spend the summer outside and the winter in my office under a plant light. It can be kept very small and it will still put out delicious lime/orange small fruit. I love the fruit. We had a big one in our yard in Hawaii and the fruit is wonderful in adult beverages. It has tons of flowers and fruit on it already and the scent from the flowers is one of my very favorites. LOL---you can see just some of the plants I need to put in when you look behind the calamansi. Five of those are plants I divided from my front garden. I think I have to plan more garden beds. After my coffee.

I'm in. Morning all! Sun and blue skies here! I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real. So glad we are all getting some agreeable weather. We have our quarterly conference call with our financial planner at 10am and then it's off to getting to any number of projects that were put on hold because of the weather. Hope everyone enjoys the day! fullmahina , What a beautiful fruit tree. Our deck boards are nearly identical in color. Enjoy the sun! hpeterson1951 , Way to go Heather! Linda! Linda! linda72 , Happy Hump Day!

hpeterson1951, congrats and don't beat yourself up! fullmahina,I want that plant, it would probably do well in Florida My BFF is back and we walked the dogs. What a disaster. Tank saw squirrel and pulled my friend out of her shoes. Golf is in the agenda also, 84 degrees today. DGD has a basketball practice. Dinner is ham, potatoes, green beans and potatoes in the crockpot

Thank you everyone for the nice words of support.
I feel like I shouldn't celebrate because I'm over goal. But I'm still less than I was, so I'm trying to remember the don't slash 3 tires if one goes flat thing.
I did make a card of the accomplishments I listed and the goals i want to try next. I think I'll make a couple of copies and place them around where I'll see them

Good morning. I’m in. First, the back: it is feeling a lot better. I can get in and out of bed with much less pain. And I’ve reduced the doses of Ibuprofen and Valium. Side benefit of the Valium: I’m very well rested and feeling good. As evidenced by yesterday’s photos, I made it downstairs to inspect the work—plus a couple of trips to get food from the garage to the upstairs. I also went down and talked to the foreman this morning to get a report on the inspection yesterday. The inspector requested that one old metal strap be replaced with a modern bracket and told the foreman to mail him a photo when it was done and that would be sufficient for full approval. So that last patch in the kitchen will receive drywall today. They are now starting the drywall in the bathroom. I decided to have them match the paint in the “south wing” (Living room and master bedroom) for the kitchen, so that decision is made and I don’t think I’ll have any more to think about for a while. I enjoyed Banana-Walnut bread (From WW Cook It Fast: 250 Recipes In 15, 20, 30 Minutes cookbook) today from the freezer. A great WW recipe and only 7 SPs for those who count. That went well with my coffee—which I completely skipped yesterday. I am disappointed that I couldn’t attend the Chinese Favorite Recipes cooking class I had scheduled for this morning. I emailed and asked if they could email me the recipes—a consolation prize of sorts if they do. hpeterson1951, everyone struggles from time to time—sometimes for days or weeks, sometimes for years. But the key is to keep trying. Totally throwing in the towel is what results in double- and triple-digit gains over long periods of time. KOKO. I think lunch, and perhaps dinner, will be Lean Cuisine. Our predicted storm has arrived this morning and will be heavy by tonight. “Winter in Spring” is a new one around here. I’m not complaining because I know so many areas of the country have been totally hammered. I think we sould take up a collection to send Mom Nature to a shrink to get her straightened out! I hope everyone enjoys the day. KOKO

Home from studio and WI. Down a lb this week which is a great thing. I treated myself to the pineapple corer. I know we’ll eat more fresh pineapple. I also got fresh cherries, nectarines and opal apples while I was at Sprouts. I then headed over for a workout at Curves. A few errands were run, now time to relax.
Dinner planned and will be tracked. Enjoying the sunshine and blue skies. Have a great day everyone.

Spent time after school making copies for meetings the next two days, 20 minutes cleaning out the classroom and 20 minutes cleaning out the big closet. Feels good to get some of this stuff accomplished and it's quiet in here! Now going to go home, rest a little, do my stretches and throw some more stuff out
