Hello Everyone sunrose - Hope you feel better soon. wwlurker - I hope you can avoid that all or nothing thinking, but I know it's difficult. Hang in there and I hope you keep seeing good results. I went grocery shopping today and didn't buy a bunch of junk food, so that's a win for me I'm on day 27 of the 100 day challenge and just want to keep working towards that Day 100.

Good morning
wwlurker, good to see you. Keep up the good work. Even if you go over, you are tracking and trying to keep it in check.
cj59, wow you are doing awesome on the 100 day challenge!
dotren, glad Murray had a good Vet visit and is losing weight. Hope you can get some eggs this weekend.
Waving to all
Going to the doctor at noon today. Still not feeling the best. Eating is not the best either. Getting in lots of water though.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today sunrose - I hope your doctor can do something to help you and that you feel better soon. It's very hot and humid here, so I'm not doing much of anything. I try to get my walking in before noontime (I do this inside) because it's just too hot in the house later.

Good morning
cj, I did get some meds from the doctor. I should be in much better shape in a few days....thanks for asking. It is so humid here too.

My scale is way up. It has not been a good week for eating. I never feel like f/v when sick. I am getting in lots of water, but my steps stink. Oh well it will get better.

Hello Everyone sunrose - sorry to hear your scale is up, it is difficult to eat right when we are sick. Hopefully you can get back to feeling better soon. I was feeling discouraged this morning. I don't think I lost anything this last week. That's part of the reason why I hate to get on the scale. Logically I know that number doesn't indicate how well I ate this past week or the steps and exercise I did. It's just frustrating not to see the progress with a lower number. I'm trying to stay motivated because I can already feel a bit better than I did a month ago. I had been eating so much junk food I didn't have any energy. Now that I've been eating healthy for a month my body feels a lot better and I do feel better. Guess I just have to stick with it. Hope everyone checking in is doing well on their plans. Have a great weekend!

Good morning
cj, I know how the scale can make us feel. I've tried (faintly) to stay off it, but... My scale was down slightly this morning. That made me feel better. Hang in there you are doing awesome!
Waving to all
I went to the grocery store this morning and bought wheat thins (my fave) and Swiss cheese. I will try to limit what I eat of both, but still not feel the best. It is going to be hot and humid here (again) today. I miss my walks outside. I could walk on the TM, but not feeling it.
I'm not giving up. :-)

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your weekend sunrose - thanks for the encouragement. I tried the scale again this morning and it does look like I'm down some. I'll stay off it for a week now. Hope you can stay cool, it's very hot and humid in my town too. I like to keep crackers in the house, sometimes just crunching one or two keeps me on track. I like the Sociables ones. I also get Stella Doro Sesame Breadsticks and those are great for a crunchy snack too. I'm hanging in there. Having a few thoughts about not wanting to do this, but I'm countering them with how much knees have been feeling (not great) and reminding myself I have to get more weight off and keep it off. Also I really want to be successful at the 100 day challenge for myself.

Good morning cj, I use to buy the Stella Doro Sesame Breadsticks. yum You are making progress--that is important. Waving to all Tomorrow will be one year that my nieces 3 year old daughter was killed. Hard to believe. She sold her house (closing was the other day). She has been living with her parents (my sister and brother-n-law). She plans to stay in Delaware. Please keep her and my family in your thoughts and prayers. I was so bad last night. So mad at myself. I was doing so good. I need to get that mindset back. I am eating a small apple right now. It's a Gala and so sweet and crunchy. Another hot day here

sunrose - Hoping you are doing better today with your eating. I will keep you and your family in my prayers, I can only imagine the pain of her loss that is still with each of you. I'm doing pretty good today and sticking to my food plan. It was difficult this weekend getting my steps and walking in, but I've done it. If I didn't have a Fitbit, I can only imagine how much I'd be sitting around and never moving. Hope everyone else is doing well and staying on track

Hello! sunrose49 , that has to be the worst thing in the world. My heart and prayers go out to your family cj59 , have you seen a cracker called "Thinables"? Here's a link for reference: thinables crackers . I can not keep them in the house because I will eat the whole bag! The cheddar ones taste like cheeze-its. The Stella Doro cookies, the assorted pack? I used to love those! Especially the anise ones that had a licorice taste lol. Great with tea. My thumb is much better wearing the splint/brace now. I take it off during the day for a while because my thumb joint was getting stiff from it being held in the same position so long. But I can do things with it off and have a little of my "pinch" back, I can take my earrings off anyway. I did get some CBD cream for it. I don't know if it's helping, but my skin has never been softer on my hand lol. As far as I can tell, it's something called De Quervain's Tendinosis . I think I actually had this surgery, and carpal tunnel surgery together, back in '86. I had surgery on my wrist AND thumb to release the tendons from the sheath. It didn't really cross my mind that the thumb is not typically part of the carpal tunnel surgery until I started reading about De Quervain's last week.
