I was invited to a Warren debate watch party in Madison.. I forwarded the information to my friend Russell. If he is interested we can drive in his car.

Fox "news" is calling DT weak for calling off the strikes. Always so helpful.

Like all of you, I'm really glad the strikes were called off regardless of the reason. What really worries me a lot is that even if the reason was because of the high number of Iranian deaths expected, why the hell did he wait so long about it? The number of expected deaths would have been known from the time the proposal was first on the table. From his tweet it sounds like it just suddenly occurred to him to ask about that 10 minutes out from the strike. So IF that is true, did he just not pay any attention when he was given the information in the beginning. Did he just not bother to read what he was shown or find it too boring to listen to the details? IF it was the number of expected casualties, my money would be that someone kept nagging him to stop this until they finally got his attention. But next time they might not get his attention. Again IF it's true what he tweeted, how do you start what would most definitely become a raging war without even bothering to think about casualties and consequences on both sides beforehand. This FM just scares me to death!

Fox "news" is calling DT weak for calling off the strikes. Always so helpful. Fox "news" is an absolute menace to society. Whoever thought that was a good idea to taunt him about should have their children on the front lines along with all the Trump kids except for Barron.

I think basically JA is a coward when it comes to confrontation. He talks big like the bully he is, but when push comes to shove & the fallout of this is on him, he backs away with excuses making him "look good & tough"....He isn't capable of understanding how dangerous taunting & bullying is & consequences of a war with Iran will be. He started this mess, he got backed into a corner now, the Iranians are playing with him at the worlds expense & now JA is looking for any excuse to back down without looking like a wimp!...

He never considers the consequences of his actions before impulsively acting. And Linda you are right that he likes to pretend he's big and tough, but like all bullies he's ready to run if confronted himself. In this case, I'm glad he ran, but not for a moment to I think he had any decent motivation. I don't think he'd blink an eye if every man, woman, and child in Iran was killed as long as it didn't have any consequences for him personally. Why should we think that a man who has no problem ripping kids from their parents and locking them in cages would have any conscience about overreacting and killing innocent people? I just abhor him!

ICE starts rounding up families on Sunday in several cities. Hmmmmmm, I surely do hope there are plenty of cameras & reporters around to capture the separation of families only to fulfill a promise JA made to his supporters. Sure he cares so much about human life!!!.....

The only potential good thing if SHS was governor of Arkansas would be that at least it keeps her off our TV screens. Hopefully AR is not actually dumb enough to elect her, but who knows they elected Daddy Huckabee. Is she thinking that this can be a step for her towards the Presidency? After all her father ran for it after being Governor there, and Bill Clinton got his start there.

Just waving hello and taking a day off from the news. Actually I was just glad to wake up this morning and not find ourselves mired in a war with Iran.

It sounds like the pullback on the airstrikes was courtesy of the Fox News Cabinet.

Yes, it gives you a lot of confidence to know that he checks with Tucker Carlson before making a decision, doesn't it? 😰

JA is always bragging, "I alone can fix it"....Today on MTP with Chuck Todd he was asked why he wouldn't just step in to help the kids at the border. His response was blame Obama, blame the Dems, blame everyone & everything but his administration. Jeez, one less golf trip of his would buy a hell of a lot of toothpaste, soap, blankets & diapers, etc. So, fix it, you FM! This situation down at the border just breaks my heart. :-(
