I was wondering the very same thing about Jared & Ivanka! Maybe to babysit daddy?
I had to laugh at one British commentator that said something to the effect of " We just want to hurry his (JA) visit along so we can send him off to France quickly"...LOL
I found it ironic the Queen gave JA a book....LOL... as a gift from England. Maybe a subtle jab!

I also found it ironic that Franklin Graham called for Sunday (yesterday) as a National Day of Prayer for JA. JA goes golfing for several hours yesterday & then shows up at a Virginia church in his golf clothes looking rather disheveled. Kind of like it was an after thought to show up.

Do you think Chris Wallace would have said that to a man!?!....Nope, he would not! But then its FOX!

I really never liked Franklin Graham. He always struck me as a "wannabe" riding on his father's coat tails. But I no longer have any respect for him whatsoever. He's no better than any of the JA groupies. In fact he's just like them.
Linda, I laughed about your babysitting comment. If that's what their role on the trip is, as usual they're not doing a very good job of it. Doesn't it just warm your heart to pay for their visit to the Queen while all around us people are going without medical care because they can't afford it and "we" can't afford to provide it for them, and some children across the nation will go to bed hungry and perhaps sleeping in a cardboard box, because the richest nation in the world can't afford to help them. But thankfully, we can afford to send Ivanka and Jared on this sightseeing trip. Goodness knows they'd never be able to afford it on their own! (wink, wink)

I never understood why Chris Wallace aligned himself with Fox in the first place. Clearly he is just one more Kool Aid drinker. Definitely he would not have made that comment about a man. You do have to laugh though that Fox wants to go with politeness as a criteria when they are the network of the Jackass-in-Chief.

Yes, he just has to p*ss somebody off in order to enjoy himself. Who cares what it leads to? He got a photo op.

Maybe he's actually Rosemary's Baby This would tie in to the hope for the Rapture. Or does the anti-Christ appear after the Rapture? Texas rolls on: just banned red light cameras. I'm trying to think of a snarky comment to link this with legalizing brass knuckles, but I'm coming up short. And on another fun note: something that gets overlooked in the whole abortion debate is the movers on removing abortion also want to limit birth control. WTAF? I was watching United Shades of America on CNN. The subject that week was reproductive rights/justice. The host was interviewing a woman who had had 2 or 3 (I lost count) abortions. I was getting all judgmental on her, but as the program progressed, it became clear that it was impossible to obtain birth control in her state (Miss.) without insurance. I wonder about the abortion/birth control banners' position on condoms.

DotRen, don't mean to be picking on you! I'm in Cali, blue as can be. They tend to go too far in the other direction. Moderates are frustrated.

I have watched past seasons of The Handmaids Tale & it always leaves me feeling depressed. It's such a dark series, so I don't know why I keep watching it, but I do & always come away feeling icky!
