diva49 , :::waving::: and wishing you a peaceful day. Good morning. Went to the Y yesterday even though I was in no mood. I consider that a non-scale victory. Now that most of the major outside work is done I can't use "well I darn near killed myself digging/planting/cleaning-up-outside" as an excuse. It's not the same as formal exercise at all. Sure it leaves you beat and tired and sweaty but it is not the same. Hot and sticky yesterday and it looks like Summer is finally here. Gotta get some watermelon for the chickens. Yesterday I brought out ice cubes and put them in the trough of the waterer and they hung around it for quite a while. Looked like a gathering at the office water cooler. I've been watching a robin go back and forth to one of my hanging geraniums on my porch. A few days ago she was building a nest in the basket and yesterday I found this. Need to be very careful when I water! Have a great day, everyone!

fullmahina,- That's awesome. My husband was trimming our box wood shrubs and didn't realize a nest was hiding until he cut down to it. There were two little eggs, but the next day they were gone. I think another bird may have eaten them since they were now exposed. Woke up with a toothache today. Had a rough night last night, took about 2 hours to fall asleep and then weird dreams all night.I too So I think I might have been grinding my teeth. It's either that or my wisdom tooth is trying to come in a little more. I took some Advil, and drinking hot tea. Is it too early to gargle with whiskey Have a great day everyone- try to stay cool

Morning all. Great pic fullmahina, I had a small Blizzard last night and then had the nerve to be shocked at the number of points I had consumed. I'm glad to have had the weeklies for such an indulgence but, I know I can't maintain much less lose, if I tap into any of my weekly points *sigh* We're grilling chicken kabobs for dinner and having corn on the cob. I'm making it a point to cook two extra ears every time we have corn this summer to put up for the winter months. I did this last year and it was so good. I have a funeral tomorrow. So tragic - my cousin's daughter was killed in a car wreck. So young, she was only 30. It's just awful. hpeterson1951, hope you feel better with less pain. I'm in. Enjoy the day

Good morning. Yup, it's hump day! I'm skipping another WW meeting since I'm still above the 2# limit. I'm refusing to pay them so I'll wait until I can lose the extra weight. That might be awhile. It's cloudy here but we're not supposed to get rain today. fullmahina, what beautiful bird eggs. I hope you're around to see the babies when they hatch. I've got baby mockingbirds that I hear "beep, beep" most of the day. They really grow up quickly though so mine are already "teen age". I'm going to the grocery store this morning. I think I'll get steel head trout for dinner. But, first, I'm drinking coffee and looking at the crossword puzzle in today's newspaper. Have a great day, y'all!

Good morning. I’m in. fullmahina, those egg are such a lovely color. hpeterson1951, sorry you’re suffering with a toothache. We could’ve held a summit overnight; I slept very poorly because my legs ache all night. I think it might be a side effect of my emergency inhaler; I’ll have to investigate the drug’s litrature. doordie50, sorry for your cousin’s loss. Such a tragedy. linda72, what’s the difference between a baby Mockingbird and a smoke detector? You can shut one up by changing the batteries! Not sure what will be on today’s agenda. Mild temperature will make it a good day to get outside. Lack of sleep last night will make it a good day to nap! I **may** convince myself to make a trip to the donation center to get rid of some stuff I held onto; some of it should have gone bye-bye before construction. Have yourselves a great day.

Last day of Prednisone, in a few days your carbs will be safe and you can stop hiding all of your food. 🤣🤣 We were writing at the same time. I forgot your were on Prednisone. That should make those Cape Cod commercials a criminal offense (showing them repeatedly to a poor, defenseless, durgged individual).

fullmahina, thanks for sharing such a darling photo. And the chickens are lucky to get that watermelon. I remember my brother feeding his chickens pumpkins. doordie50, I'm sorry to read about your family's loss. I assume the cousin's daughter was young, too. I hope everyone enjoys their day and any pains or discomforts ease. I'm doing well with my eating plan. I haven't done any form of cheating for a while. I actually feel and think some parts of my body look thinner. I hope my weigh-in on Friday is a good one. I think my husband is doing fairly well, too. He does have secret drinky poos, but it seems only one or two beyond what I put on his daily plan. My husband has been so stressed at work. I encouraged him to take a little vacation for a break. He ran with the idea, so we are going to have an extra long holiday weekend next week and attend the Tanglewood Music Festival in Massachusetts. We go there every few years or so. The program is lovely.

DebDoesWW,- I've been on Prednisone for a month now. Started at 15 now down to 10 for a few more weeks and then to 5. I'm trying not to blame the mindless binging on it, but I do think it's part of it. It's for my knees, helping a little. I hope your poison ivy gets better. I have never had it, even when my brother and I were both playing in it. He was covered!

hpeterson1951, you must be part of the 15% of the population that is immune to it, TJ is too. Oh no, a month of it?! It is the devil. 🤣🤣
