wwlurker, I think it's great that you're identifying your feelings around weight loss, and are seeking out ways to address those issues. One thing that might help is seeing a therapist who specializes in CBT - cognitive behavioral therapy - that's what Beck's approach is based on, her father more or less invented CBT, if I remember correctly! Anyway, a trained CBT therapist might be a great next step to help you personalize and reinforce what Beck talks about...something to ponder as you go through this review.
