Another hot one here in NJ today, with T-storms predicted for afternoon/evening.
Toots has an outdoor band concert this evening, 40 miles away <sigh>.
I'll have coffee... ☕☕☕... while we plan for a variety of scenarios...

76 here this morning but that's cool compared to the predicted 97 for saturday.
any of you that know me from the forums over the years know that I love fall.
I'm looking forward to fall (such a beautiful time of the year) even more so this year.

Lalalalala I can't hear you lavonm ! 🍪 LOL The cookies are delish. I had a warm one & it reminded me of Panera's Triple Chocolate Cookie. With a couple minor adjustments (like adding white choc chips & a few nuts, they'd be darn close. They're a more reasonable size as well if you stick with one & there's the problem.  |

Good morning. I’m in. Visions of chocolate chip cookies dancing in my head. Bright and sunny here. 61° predicted to hit 82° at 3 PM; my neighborhood will be somewhat warmer than that—always is. The only thing planned for today is attending an ice cream social for the library volunteers. lavonm, we sure could use some of those cookies to go with our sundaes! Have a great day and KYSSU. |

Checking in from WW workshop. Accountability is a necessary part of the week for me. Headed for workout then to lunch with mom. Of course a few errands as well. Sunshine and blue skies will keep me focused on blue. Have a great day.

91 at 8:40 but since it was "so cool" this morning I could walk the longer route and finally saw the Sold sign on a house my friends are buying. It will be good to have them in the hood. The tree trimnmers are here to prune 5 trees, three camphors and two pistache. I am going to Fresno State to a film presentation on Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo from 10:30 to 1 p.m. Most of the class will be going on a field trip tomorrow to Mission San Juan Bautista where a good part of the movie was filmed. I have been there many times and it will be so hot that I passed on doing that part of the class. Instead I will go to the Fresno State farm store after class to see what good things they have for sale.
It could be worse. We could all live In Phoenix where it was 113 yesterday.

It was uncomfortably humid and still this morning, but a very nice breeze make walking on the boardwalk at lunch pleasant. Storms later. Then Friday starts a real heatwave.
