I know you were happy to see your dd home safely. They must love swimming and beaches...two weeks on islands and now another beach,'
Good to see CJ and Sue here also yesterday.
My crochet hat challenge starts on Fridays and I have a goal of three a week. I did the three Friday evening and yesterday and I'm sure more will be made this coming week.I used my my "autumn leaves color yarn. I think I've made six hats that included that and I still can't get over how pretty that "ugly" yarn looks when mixed in with the deep chocolate brown. Now I'm working on dh's bolster pillow for his birthday. Yesterday was dggd's second birthday. We didn't go to the party but saw plenty of pictures. She's so cute. I still want to make matching hats for her, her sister who's arriving in the fall, and their mom...my dgd. I may make a toy too but not sure yet.I do have the blanket part of two lovey blankets done, just have to decide on and make the animal part.

ok pillow is done as much as I'm going to finish it right now. I'm leaving a little open on the end so dh can let me know if he wants more or less stuffing and so that we can even it out if it lumps to some spots. So far it looks and feels good to me but I know a little more stuffing is needed at the end.
Now I'm going to make a revised list of what and in what order I'm going to work on next.

Happy Sunday all! Sorry for being so MIA here, this weekend has just been so busy and I have had little time.
CJ are you able to call customer service regarding your installation? Twice I have had good luck with our cable company who verbally walked me through the entire process of correcting an error. Hope you can take care of that easily and get your TV up and running.
Sue- hope the day brings you pleasure also! Guess a little rain is a good thing, right? And if your nights are cool, 80’s are tolerable. Glad you got to quilting....
Ruth, leave it to you- you have enough projects to fill up your days for a long time!!! Reading your project list makes me dizzy. Hard to believe that DGGD is going to be 2 and with a new sister coming too! Bet that heart pillow is adorable and I think a variegated back would be great.
Betty, how old is your DGGD who you are making the purple quilt for?
Phyl, glad you got to go on a cruise....sounds like fun! Its been a very long time since I went to Dubuque. Remember very little.

Phyl, so glad that you enjoyed the river cruise! (Never been on one). It seems to me that most of those things are great for relaxing, but they also serve food, and probably not healthy food at that. Its a good idea for you to start working on making better food choices. Are you still attending WW meetings?
We tried eating dinner on the deck this evening. Dh tried to pretend it was nice out (it was not!). It was ok for a few seconds while there was a breeze. Then we came inside. Ha ha ha G

Ruth, you worked through dh’s neck pillow In what seems record time! I am sure he will love it and it will be even more comforting during cold winter. Do I dare even ask what your gift list is, I am sure it’s plenty long!
Phyl, do you think Lizzie will be homesick? Is she going to Commute to school?
Got my fabrics cut for the last block. Hope to start sewing tomorrow.
Hi to Becky, CJ and Sue! Ginny
