Lani, I said the exact same thing. The exact same words! Well, maybe not exactly. Mine was more like, "they're still waiting for the first coming you jerk!" Ugh. I'm so tired of all this nonsense all the damn time.
Joyce, that was good. Thanks for posting it.
"We're the ones we've been waiting for." I love this.
"Take a look at these other probability-based polls that meet CNN's standards and were completed over the last two weeks.
AP-NORC puts the President's approval rating at 36%, down from 38%.
Fox News gave Trump a 43% approval rating, a decrease from 46%.
Gallup shows Trump's approval rating at 41%, down from 42% in late July and 44% in early July.
Monmouth University pegs Trump's approval rating at 40%, down from 41%.
NBC News/Wall Street Journal found Trump had an approval rating of 43% among all adults, a decrease of 2 points from 45% in July among registered voters and 1 point from 44% in their last poll that surveyed all adults in June." -- CNN website
It's good that his approval rating is dropping, but the really SCARY thing is that at least 40% of the country approves of him! How is it possible that 4 out of 10 people approve of this guy? What does that say about our fellow citizens? I don't think it says anything good. Evidently 4 out of every 10 people think that as long as things are going ok for them personally, the hell with the rest of the world. Depressing!
"You see, our glorious diversity—our diversity of faiths, and colors and creeds―that is not a threat to who we are, it makes us who we are." -- Michelle Obama
IF the JA has the power under whatever that 1977 law is to just order American businesses to do whatever he wants, then how does that differ from what Putin, Xi, and any other "dictator" can do? And, what happens if he does order them to do that and they refuse? I really don't understand this, and certainly I doubt that was the intent of the law when it was originally passed. And what about all those Trump hats and Ivanka shoes, etc that are made in China?
