I do understand that feeling, Pat. Nevertheless I will cast my vote even knowing that here in my state it will carry no weight. But at least I will have satisfied my conscience.

It's good that his approval rating is dropping, but the really SCARY thing is that at least 40% of the country approves of him! How is it possible that 4 out of 10 people approve of this guy? What does that say about our fellow citizens? I don't think it says anything good. Evidently 4 out of every 10 people think that as long as things are going ok for them personally, the hell with the rest of the world. Depressing!

My spouse has a family member (Not my favorite person) who says out loud in front of God and everybody, "If it has nothing to do with me I don't care." His life and lifestyle proves this is his truth.
When he walks through our front door all our cats run and hide. I'm tempted to dash under a bed myself. Wouldn't fit though.

IF the JA has the power under whatever that 1977 law is to just order American businesses to do whatever he wants, then how does that differ from what Putin, Xi, and any other "dictator" can do? And, what happens if he does order them to do that and they refuse? I really don't understand this, and certainly I doubt that was the intent of the law when it was originally passed. And what about all those Trump hats and Ivanka shoes, etc that are made in China?
