This is a monthly thread for those of us who have a lot of weight to lose. The definition of “a lot” is something that is determined personally, so everyone who feels they have a lot of weight to lose is welcome to post here.
Please join us in offering support, checking in for accountability, help with questions, etc. We’re in this for the long haul.
We’d also love to hear from those of you who are maintaining a large loss. We need those tips to help us to keep the weight off once we lose it

Good morning! Checking in for the new month! sunrose49, I like your baggie idea. Sorry it didn't work out for the wheat thins. Next time? Great work on the exercise. You're an inspiration! DotRen, Thank you for the encouragement! I feel like a newbie, just getting started again. I had a two week weight loss streak! - 1 last week -.8 this week. Woohoo! So of course this would trigger a being-overweight-nightmare! I hope I never have to date ever again! I feel like each day is climbing up a mountain pushing a boulder. Every meal and snack is a challenge for me right now, so I will see you all tomorrow, but it will feel like an eternity until then. lol Good luck to you all on you plans! Hooray for August!

I had a very small gain at WW yesterday. I need to turn this old body around and start losing weight. I would feel so much better.

Good morning!! sunrose49, Thank you! A small gain is very manageable. Sometimes you even get a big loss the next week! ...Sometimes. lol Either way, it's a new day! 3 meals + snacks to go! You can do it! I did hold out until dinner! ... then my resistance was spent and I had some ice cream. lol But it was in a cone, not a big bowl so, I think it was around 5 PP. And I do have some activity points so not so bad! I had my Official Home WI this morning. Down 2.4! I don't know how that's possible since my Official WW WI was only down .8 last week, but hey, I'll take it! Plan for today - BBQ at my parents tonight, so I need to hoard some dailies. I'm thinking fruit for breakfast. Salad for lunch, with egg and olives and ranch. Lots of water. And maybe some popcorn for a snack to bulk up in between. I really should plan these things the night before, but at night I'm caving into ice cream so... not sure how that would go. lol I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Hello Everyone - I haven't been posting for a few days, just dealing with some things in my life.
I guess I'm doing pretty well because I haven't been bingeing and I have still cut back on my sugar intake and those were things I wanted to work on. I need to get back doing more exercise since I've let that slide.
I hope everyone else is doing well on their plans and that you have a great day!

I tried to move more yesterday and watch/track what I ate. Did better, but still room for improvement.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today I've realized that I'm probably not going to lose weight right now unless I was extreme in cutting back my daily intake and really did a lot of exercise. I think my body has reached one of those stall points where it's readjusting to my weight. Normally in the past I'd have to stay at this weight for awhile before I could try to lose weight again. Have any of that have lost and gained several times had this happen? Did your body stick around one weight for awhile before you could start losing again? I'm still just trying to eat well and stick to the GHGs as much as I can. Hopefully I won't gain any weight and maybe I'll still lose some. Now that I've let go of fighting hard to lose weight right now and am focusing on eating healthy foods it has helped not to feel like a failure all the time. I just don't want to start the bingeing cycle again.

Hello! sunrose49, Nice work! The BBQ was delicious! And on plan! Woohoo! cj59, Sorry you're having a tough time right now. But maintenance is definitely a good plan. I do have stall points in my journey. They don't usually last long... maybe a few weeks, but they are definitely there, so I get you. I think trying to eat well and stick to the GHG's is golden. Cheering you on for that! My official WI was great this week, but I'm up a little after two days of eating two big meals. It could've been worse, it could've been three big meals but I was mindful of what was going on and tried to adjust. I'll be happy to be back on my normal schedule though. My oldest is starting 1st grade tomorrow!

cj59, I've had that happen to me also. Just keep doing what you are doing. You appear to be eating healthy so that is a good thing.
irisinnia, first grade. How fun. I hope all goes well. WTG with a good WI after a couple big meals.
I had lunch with a friend yesterday and the scale is up almost 2 pounds! Yikes. We both had grilled cheese sandwiches with bacon/tomato and FF. Not the best choices, but it was good and I could not eat all of it.

I dropped school today before it started in order to work on my health and weight. I got 4 packs of Klondike bars being delivered tomorrow morning along with good food. I hav e so much weight to lose. I signed up for trackingg. online. I am getting vegtarian lunches and dinners.
