Sunday I shall be willing to keep watching portions and follow the GHG's. Weather permitting I shall venture out for a hood walk. We shall see.
I went freezer diving and found a pork loin roast. I also have chicken breasts that are already defrosted so my guess is we'll have chicken tomorrow followed by the pork loin roast later in the week.
Going to get jammified and read a bit.
Sleep well, all

I'm already tracked except for snacks for Sunday.I will move as best I can and hydrate.Paying attention to portion size and GHG's is vital to me even when double tracking calories.I will KOKO.

Not sure when the kids will leave. Iโll make the same breakfast I made today, scrambled eggs with a small amount of light Mexican cheddar cheese, good wheat toast, coffee and fruit. Dinner is back at the Galley and lunch is undetermined. I took two long walks yesterday, one to town and the in the opposite direction on the beach.

I am willing to:
* be aware * track * hydrate * set the timer for 1 hour between each 5 minute indoor walk till I get off the computer.
ANN: My sister, I think, mentioned going shopping in her closet to come up with new outfits. Your freezer diving reminded me of her saying that. My freezer is tiny but there are times I am sure I could find meals in there if I wanted to! Loved the term jammified, too. Glad Lulu did her business and you got out of the weather before it let loose!
BECKY: Hooray for being pre-tracked for Sunday. You mentioned Bastrop. Is that in Texas? I have an online friend that grooms dogs and is into rescue work in Bastrop. Her name is Brenda. Small world!
BEE: I don't know what is up with all the shootings...it is like an epidemic with no end in sight. I wonder WHY and though there are suppositions there are no solutions in sight.
AUDREY: Your walks and food sound divine! I can see you looking for a way to light the barbecue...glad you and your husband found a way. We usually have candles and matches in bathrooms, bedrooms and in a drawer in the kitchen...we never know when power cuts will happen and when they do the stove won't light automatically and matches or an igniter thingy is needed. 5 Times watching The Meg (whatever it is) sounds daunting although Jason Stratham is not hard on the eyes Your time staying where you are sounds fabulous...great walks, great meals, good times with family. I hope Fiesta Days go okay...can you imagine if all outdoor events were cancelled due to continued mass shootings? YIKES!
SUSI: What did you indulge in at the track? I hope it was tasty and delicious!
MJ: Hope the WW workshop was interesting and your weigh-in okay. Coffee at hand is a wise thing...for after the weigh-in. My husband told me this morning that the tomatoes he was waiting to pick this morning are all gone. He thinks something is eating them...not rats as they can't climb on the spindly branches but...something bigger. The good thing is that produce is cheap and we can buy but they never taste as good as what we get from the garden. I had visions of toots going wherever with half his head shaved...glad you found some for him to finish with! You had me laughing at the birthday present roku...sounds like a guy! And the workshop - meditation?!?!?!?
JUNE: I like that comment about the being in control of what one eats...being in control will see me in onederland while not being in control will see me exactly where I am now.
LADONNA: I have never made ribs. I have had them one time at my sister's when she did them in her crock pot and that was YEARS ago. I now use my pressure cooker to do dry beans in...have never tried meat in it though a sister-in-law does roast in hers.
PAM: You always sound so upbeat and organized. Here's to another blue dot day!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!

Good morning ladies. I'll be back for personals much later today as I have a very busy start. The braised short ribs and charcuterie board were so worth the uptick on the scale as was the homemade wine and, most importantly, the company. We hung out on the deck for hours last night. I lost a modest amount of money at the track. Charlie walked and ferals fed. Now off to spin, handyman coming at 9 to fix the dryer vent leak, breakfast with our friends, Jazz and the baby for lunch hopefully, then down time.

Good morning, all!!!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...

As I posted late yesterday, I've got my WWโ๏ธETV (e-tools voucher) for August. And I got the nicest text from one of my WW GFs, inviting me to go to Longwood Gardens with her, her mom, and another WW GF next Saturday. But next Saturday already includes KSMB, a "DayJob Reunion" picnic <oy>, and is Toots' birthday.
This Roku thing is interesting. It was good to be able to watch my British mysteries back here by my computer last night; I got a couple of bills paid and a start on cleaning off my desk <hahahaha>. And this morning I'm watching News 12, which is a NJ-specific news show. We are no longer on a quick timeline to purchase our own equipment; MissMouse texted me later in the evening that the urgency to retrieve it had passed and that we should "try it out for a little and then decide" if we want to spend the money for our own. So far, I like it.
It's a little cloudy and cool this morning, but humid. The storms that went across the state above us didn't hit here. Toots reports that they watched the high lightning behind the clouds as they drove up the GSP. It's supposed to be sunny later and in the mid-80s.
Toots says that the gig was a good one. The birthday boy (age 90) was "in good shape" and he had his multi-generation family filling the room and enjoying the band. The band got fed (Toots had ziti & meatballs, and birthday cake at the end, but there was plenty of other food). He got home a little after midnight.
So... we're up and have had breakfast. We have Not Much on our agenda besides Sunday Steak Dinner and may go to Famous Dave's for a change of pace. There's NASCAR (Watkins Glen) at 3 PM. And I think I'll work on our Handbasket List, plus identify the known activities for the coming week.
I've had coffee... โโโ... there will be more...
๐ฟ๐ป๐ฟ๐ป๐ฟ๐ป๐ฟ๐ป๐ฟ Have a healthy-eating day, all! ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฟ๐ป๐ฟ๐ป๐ฟ๐ป๐ฟ

Cathy Great goals.Yes I do live in TX and Bastrop is only about 20 miles from where we live.
Ann I am glad you slept well.I always have my chicken with my lunch salad as they are grilled chicken tenders.I hope you have a good day.
Susi I'm glad you had a good time yesterday and the food was worth the uptick on the scale.
MJ Enjoy your not much day and Sunday steak dinner.
I did not sleep well and hope I don't fall asleep in church.LOL.I'm in the "not much planned"group today.I have done a short 20 min cycle ride and will get another in this afternoon.Other than that usual Sunday afternoon chores and house walking.
Have a great Sunday all.Prayers for June and anyone else who needs it.
Also please pray for the people of El Paso and Dayton.Such evil going on in the world.

Becky I so agree. Such evil is right. I don't get it and happy to say that I'm happy to be my 'age' now and not a kid. It is very hot and humid today, so no walking outdoors for this chick. We do have some errands to get done, so any walking will be in the nice cool AC. One place I have to take a sweat shirt in with me, as they have their AC up on blast LOL.......
Once Donna comes back from her cookout with her parents, we will go over and try to set up more stuff on her smartphone. It's so wonderful that she has come a long way from being taken advantage of by her VERY abusive DH. She is now divorced (after 37 years) and sold their home and now living here with her mom and dad. It makes Carl and I feel good to help her out. She is such a sweetheart. Her daughter has disowned her! Such drama to deal with.
Take care, all and enjoy your day. I doubt I'll get back online till tomorrow.

After church we have come to the farmers market. I told my mom weโd make sure they have plenty of fruit and veggies for the family gathering in the next few days to celebrate my oldest niece on Wednesday. Seven plus spouses and teenagers. Having family visit is always fun. I just need to remember by aware glasses and to eat intentionally. Iโll keep aiming for blue as well

I just sent a letter to the newspaper editorial staff after they printed an op ed piece from Sacramento labeling Ronald Reagan as racist. I suggested they write about LBJ next week if they are striving for fairness but I also suggested they read the thoughtful op Ed piece in yesterdayโs WSJ by Joe Epstein suggesting we take the R word out of our vocabulary like the N and C words. I donโt know why I still expect unbiased journalism. Writing helps me relieve my emotions.
The kids are going to walk around Cayucos. There are antiques stores, bakeries and a candy and ice cream store among others. Then we will all go to the beach.

Ann Thx for starting our thread. Nice when you can "find" your next few meals in your own freezer. How lucky for Donna that she you and Carl for friends. All that I can say is there is nothing quite like family drama. Sigh... Audrey Enjoy your walks, vacation, and meals. There something very relaxing about walking on a beach.
Bee Good recipe for a great day.
Cathy That lil timer trick helps me, too. Far too easy to get locked into computer work, reading, or other sedentary tasks. Thx for posting this. You got me thinking that maybe I should use my hour between classes for me. I coul walk on campus & ear an early lunch or 1/2 lunch. I am on campus an hour before my first class any way. That could be my office hour...
Mj Congrats on earning another E-tool voucher. Do you like "Vera"? we did. Do you like usu g aRoku device? Have thought about 1-2 streaming service w/ an HD antenna & high speed internet. But the cost was roughly the same cable and we often lose power in storms. Knowing R, he would still say that there is nothing to watch.
Becky Wonderful that using your recumbent bike for two spins is possible. Sigh. . . I feel utterly saddened by the shootings. Have added my prayers also.
