Today is our last lazy day. DH wants to go to nearby Spencerโs Market to buy a few jars of their house brand of pickled and spicy vegetables. He has enjoyed them while we have been here. We will definitely walk on the beach and have our final dinner at the Galley Restaurant in Morro Bay. It is cooling to the low 90s at home, which is nice. We leave for home Saturday after breakfast. We will stop at Giornata winery in Paso Robles to pick Up an order of handmade wine โfatto al Manoโ and nearby Field Recordings to get our fall order of canned wines, better than you can imagine. Jeremy and Laura celebrated their 10th anniversary yesterday. I mailed a card and will get them a restaurant gift card when I am home. Robโs anniversary is 9/10 and Rachelโs is in October. Ours is 8/26. Have a relaxing Friday diva49 your energy is amazing bee, I hope you feel better

I am WILLING to WI and take the consequences. It seems I was WILLING but not very AWARE this week. Barring a miracle before dawn --- it's gonna be a + week.
Oh, well, I start over tomorrow.

Audrey It sounds like you have had a fun and wonderful trip.I would gladly take Fresno's low 90's.It is just down to 99 at 7:15.
Bee I hope your headache is gone or at least better.I know the feeling on not being as aware as I had hoped. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak It's a good thing we have the reset button.
Friday goals:I'm willing to be aware and have an OP day.Tracking, moving as well as I can and hydrating.
Sleep well all and KOKO.

Audrey Thx for starting the thread. Lovely that you can spend your last vacation visiting special vendors and a fav restaurant. Nice that you can return home too more agreeable weather & celebrate so many family anniversaries. Congrats in advance to all, but especially to you & your DH!
Bee j Weeks like that happen. Kudos for being accountable.
Becky Sounds like you are locked into a solid plan for an OP Friday. Always a plus to start that weekend on a strong note!
Ann You made me giggle. Hope that it "works" like a charm.

Okey dokey Count my blessings . . . Then count them again. Gather information and go from there... Keep smiling. . . Was thinking that I will need something stronger than tea or Diet Coke. . Do not drink alcohol, so what could that be, mint hot chocolate?

I am willing to: * journal * think before I eat * fruit/veg at every meal * walk five minutes every hour till I reach at least 20 minutes total * hydrate
Going to go grocery shopping for some basics today...eggs, bread, cheese, etc. I made bean burgers and fig jam yesterday and this morning made pancakes and needing an egg I did not have added some flax seed in hot water and it turned out better than using an egg. Used some of the fig jam from yesterday on the pancakes this morning.
AUDREY: Enjoy your last day on vacation before heading home. You mentioned "canned" wine...have never heard of it before...boxed and bottled but not canned. It sounds like life after vacation is going to be BUSY!
BEE: Hooray for going to weigh and then hitting the reset button. Sorry about the headache...hope rest helped!
BECKY: Hope you slept well. Sounds HOT where you are...hope the electricity stays on so the AC can run 24/7!
ANN: You made me smile...being willing and hoping it works Hope you slept better last night and the ache in your chest/breast is gone today.
JUNE: You mentioned needing something "stronger" but not alcohol to drink. Not sure if this is daily or for an event. There are a lot of mocktails out there that can fool the mind. I sometimes use grenadine with 7-up or sparking water in a wine glass, love iced tea with lemon or lemonade, if chocolate is what you want...a smoothie or perhaps a frozen latte/smoothie with some ice and chocolate...(((HUGS)))
SUSI: Hooray for planning...and then tracking.
LADONNA: Interesting about the Walmart order to pick up. I remember a store in Des Moines (when I was young) that mom went to. It had a place kids could sit and read comic books while parents shopped and the mom would pick us up, she would pay, the groceries were put on a conveyor belt and sent through a tunnel to a pickup place at the edge of the parking lot where it was covered and a guy would put them into the car. I like the idea of ordering online IF You know what you need
MJ: You sound busy as usual. Glad no flooding where your house is. No idea what the Himalaya is but am guessing a thrilling ride. May have to look for it to see what you did twice and surprised the attendant with when you did so!
PAM: Glad the 50th birthday for your niece was wonderful.

DivaTaxi. LA-F. MHSS. That's IT <hahahaHAHAHAhahaha>. It seems almost NORMAL. And perhaps a couple of phone calls for stuff that I'd like to see get done sooner rather than later.
Coffee sure does taste good... โโโ...

(((June)))) praying for you and R. I'd go with the mint hot chocolate, or as Cathy suggested the mocktails. I think skinny girls has some of them, or at least she used to. MJ hope the phone calls go smoothly. Cathy, great goals. I love figs in any shape or form Becky, also good goals. We are having Donna Sheila and George over for a late lunch. Serving pulled pork baked beans and coleslaw. Sheila made a blueberry pie for dessert. She is diabetic, so does not add sugar which will help. I shall watch the portions. Waving to AWF and wishing all a good fun OP day.

Audrey, enjoy your lazy day.
Becky, hope it's a good day.
June, I know this is not WWish, but sometimes you have to skip the mocktails and for the cocktails. JMO Praying for you.
Ann, we can all be willing together.
Cathy, sounds like a good plan.
MJ, enjoy normal.
WI was up 1.6#s and I know I earned every one of them.
Been outside snapping pics. Again this morning, no mosquitoes, but great big mosquito hawks --- they are doing a good job. Only 1 bird singing. And an eagle testing the upper winds of the early morning.
Am off to hunt the WILLING shoes and the AWARE glasses.
Hope ALL have a great day!

Enjoy your last lazy day. Hope home starts too cool down soon. Bee - It's not the first time and won't be the last. You know what to do. And that's not too bad. Stay cool Becky! LOL Ann. Enjoy your lunch with your friends June - sending you virtual peppermint from my garden. Mint chocolate is my favorite! Cathy - Always good to find a tasty substitute. Have fun. MJ - Did my heart good to see the boys all tuckered out and to know you got your rides on the Himalaya. I'm only sorry I couldn't spend more time with you. I slept like a log last night and the alarm woke me up. I wish I had more nights like that! My garden is slow but steady. This morning I had a sliced Rutger's tomato (my favorite) and purple basil from the garden with a little mozz, evoo, balsamic, pink salt and pepper over arugula with an over easy egg on 1/2 lite em. Oh my! I have a yellow boy ready to be picked tomorrow and an eggplant and some peppers for Sunday/Monday. Lots of grape tomatoes to fill in. The next round of green beans are just starting. I was going to pick up pizza tonight but I'm sure tomorrow's suprise party for my cousin's wife will be completely over the top so I will save the indulgence for then.

Bee my weight has spiked up this week...three days in a row to the tune of 1.6 This a.m. I had a welcome surprise of a .7 loss. I'll take it! As far as today goes? Will concentrate on watching portions and doing more TALKING than EATING....Will let y'all know how that pans out Susi that breakfast sounds very good. I'll be right over Wise to eat light today to plan for the indulgence tomorrow for your cousin's surprise bday party. I need to get a move on and 'spiff the place up'. Just waiting for Carl to leave to walk LuLa as I can't clean with him under foot!!!! Take care, all!

Lingering over coffee this morning and enjoying my kindle. Currently reading "Call your daughter home" I'm about 25% in. Its really engaging so far. After this post Ill throw on some walking clothes and head out. DH is cutting grass. A little later he and I are going to do some errands together and maybe eat a meal out somewhere. Will make good choices where ever we end up.
Audrey, thanks for the start and enjoy these last moments June, hopefully a resolution soon...hugs and prayers Susi, so glad you had some good rest and breakfast sounds great Bee, just take it and move forward. the reset button will be ready for you Ann, have fun dining with friends. watching portions is hard for me but can be done. MJ, agree. coffee so good this morning Cathy, I remember shopping with mama when I was little. I'd just stand in the magazine section of the store and read until she was ready to check out LOL glad the flax seed worked out for you Becky, have a great OP day
