Good morning! OMG, is it spring yet? My goodness, is it cold! Temp is -9, windchill is -28! How about that Packer game? YAY!!! And the Vikings keep loosing!!! teehee Marlene, now I will have to check the bathroom vent, thanks for reminding me. I got both kitchen window blinds finished this weekend. They are white, so really shows the dirt. The big window by the little dining area was not too hard to do, but the window over the kitchen sink was a pain to do, since I had to go on a step stool, and work around the kitchen faucet, which is one of those that are curved U shaped. I did the window by the sink during the game. That worked out good, since I would take breaks to watch the game, so it seemed a little easier to do. Wrapping the few presents we have so far, today, then we will go out this afternoon and clean up the driveway from the snow we got after we blew/shoveled. Too cold to do it yesterday and this morning. Just as with everyone else, the week will be a busy one. Hope to see you all stop in and say HI!

Good Morning Karen & Phyl,
Only 3 more months & it's spring! Then I'll be getting ready to head back to the campground out at Lone Rock. Heard on the radio this morning LR was the coldest in WI at minus 26 last night! And more good news, after Wed. we start having more daylight. Spring is on the way but hasn't sprung yet!!
I got the BR cleaned - YEAH! I also wiped up the tiles under & around the free standing fireplace on the porch. That was not a good thing for me to do but no one else to do it - & it looked like it. My lower back about killed me after doing that but DH sprayed it with some "pain stop" stuff we a got at WM. It works real good:)
I mixed up the cut out cookies last night. The dough doesn't look like I remember it; hmmm wonder what I did wrong OR if I did do something wrong. So, today I'll be hunting for the rolling pin & hopefully baking them. I have decided I will make the date bars & PB cookies plus thinking about fudge. I have always been like this - the closer it gets to Christmas the more I think of what I could make. No wonder I "yust go nuts at Christmas"! Hope the kids eat it:) I will send boxes of goodies home with them. One SIL is a sweet addict so he'll enjoy his share & more. Woe, there goes the scale for me, but I'll restrain till Wed when I WI. After that I'll have a month to take off what I don't want..... but I'll still have goodies:(
Hope DS's present gets here in time. We ordered late from Amazon so hard to tell. Guess I'll need to wrap that but otherwise no gifts to wrap, unless I get DH's sock done &/or the ear flaps for his stocking hat that I knit e-ons ago. Just thought, if I finish the ear flaps I'll wrap them & he won't have any idea what they are or for. I had planned to add them to the hat right away but I don't have too.
Well I'm just rattling away so time to get busy. Hope both of you have a great day.
