Good morning
cj, I have heard of ITrack Bites, but didn't know they had the old WW plans. Good for you not buying a bunch of treats. I love fresh green beans.
Waving to all
Going to jazzercise this morning and probably yard work later.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well and having success with your eating. sunrose - A lot of people seem to really like the ITrack Bites app and they find it works well for them with the old plans. Hope you enjoyed your jazzercise class and that you were able to get your yardwork done. The green beans turned out good so I'll enjoy them for a few days. I had bought a few candy type items and after I ate a few of them I found that I really didn't like them enough for the calories, so I threw them out. I'm getting a lot better at doing that. I'm not going to force myself to eat something junky that I don't enjoy, just because it's junk food. And I don't feel bad about throwing out those types of foods because nobody should probably be eating them anyway Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good morning cj, good for you throwing out the candy. I agree with you, why it if it doesn't taste good. I started this morning messing around with the itrackbites. I'm ready to get back on track with my eating. Waving to all The weather is really nice this morning. I'll get my walk in and do more yard work Darn weeds.

sunrose49, cj59, *waves* I tried itrackbites and it was a bit too technical for me lol. cj59, good win over bad food sunrose49, feel free to come clear out under my magnolia trees while you're in the yardworking mood lol Still fighting a cough. I asked the pharmacist what was best for it, and he asked me if I'd had a cold, I said yes and he said the one going around here has a cough that can hang on for up to 6 weeks. He suggested the coricidin HBP one with antihistamine and cough supressent during the day and mucinex or alka seltzer night time for night.

Hello Everyone sunrose - Hope you enjoy your walk and get the yardwork done so you can enjoy the rest of the day. Let me know how the ItracksBites works for you. I downloaded the free app awhile back but never tried it. DotRen - Hope those medications help for your cough. I remember having those lingering coughs when I was younger, they can just wear you out. I'm afraid I might find the ItrackBites app too technical for me too since I'm still using pen and paper to track my food Throwing out junk food has been really freeing for me. I always had the mindset that I had to eat it since I'd bought it and it was "forbidden food". But now I can buy something at the store and just try it and if I don't really like it enough to want to eat the calories I throw it away. I feel like doing this is helping me to listen to what my body wants to eat, at least I hope it is. And I find that I'm less inclined to binge by doing this. Another 100 Day challenge starts today and I'm going to participate again. Those types of things keep me motivated to stick to something. I think it bugs me when I give up, so I force myself to keep going. During the last one I almost dropped out around the 70-80 day mark and did get off track for a bit but I changed my challenge requirements and started back to finish it. I'll keep my challenge requirements at a doable level this time so I can stick with it. I did get about $70 put in that jar before I quit with that too. Hope everyone enjoys their day and does well with their plans

Good morning dotren, how are you feeling? cj, what is your challenge this time? Hey I think you did good with the last one. You stuck to it longer than I would have. Waving to all Jazzercise and walking Maddie is on the agenda. I didn't do the yard work I'm so lazy with that. lol

Forgot to mention I have only tracked one meal oops You have to start somewhere Better, I hate taking liquid cold meds because of the carbs, but mucinex or the tylenol warming one are the only things working at night, but I think I'm past the worst of it. Does anyone remember a cough drop called Fishermans Friend? Nasty taste? lol -my grandfather used to carry those in his pocket all the time. I ran across them at Kroger and picked up a pack and dang they work like a charm! Better than Vics drops. Really clear your nasal passages and sooth the throat -but you have to get past the taste lol.

sunrose - Sounds like you are enjoying the jazzercise, I hope it's fun and helpful. Tracking really takes practice to make it a habit, good luck. DotRen - I'm glad you are feeling better. I remember those cough drops and I'm glad you found them and they are helping for you. I used to love the Smith Brothers cough drops when I was a kid with a cough. My challenges for this next 100 days are to eat fruits, vegetables and dairy each day and to get a minimum number of steps on my Fitbit each day. I had really slacked off on exercise, so I'm trying to work my way back up. Starting back in August I set a daily amount and then I added 1000 steps to that for September and I'll do the same in October and November and hopefully by December I can be back up to speed. It was so easy to just start sitting around again not moving so I have to work at this Hope everyone else checking in is doing well.

Good morning
dotren, I don't remember those cough drops, but glad they are helping you.
cj, sounds like a great challenge. Good luck.
I just plan forget to track. I need to work on that. I bought some apple crisp apples at the store yesterday and they are not very good tasting (makes me mad because they are so expensive). Anyway I made it through the jazzercise class yesterday (barely). I am so out of shape.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today sunrose - I hear you on buying fruits (and vegetables) at the store and then they don't taste good. I have that happen a lot to me. I'm always pleasantly surprised when something actually tastes good Good for you sticking with the jazzercise class - I'm sure you'll get back up to speed soon. I have my fruits, vegetable and dairy figured out for the day and just need to finish my steps, so I can have another good day on the challenge. I need to start thinking about getting serious about having a better food plan again. I don't want to go into the holiday season not feeling strong, because I really love all the food treats that we have in the fall and at Christmas. I'd like to be able to control them like I did a few years ago.

Good morning
cj, WTG with a strong start on the challenge. Great plan on the holidays coming up (before we know it).
Waving to all
Decided to skip jazzercise this morning and go tomorrow morning to a not so high impact class. I really need to work on my bedroom.

sunrose49, I couldn't find any classes locally, but there are tons of youtube videos! cj59, I've been using grocery pickup more lately to help curb my impulse buying lol. It will be better once summer fruits are off the list. Farmers market weekend here coming up, looking forward to the eggs (though I'm NOT paying $15 for duck eggs again, Murray is fine without them lol). Looking for tomatoes, beet greens, turnips, eggs, salsa (we got 1 pint last time and it was gone in 2 days, it was so good), pickling cucumbers if they have any. I know there will be more stuff, but I make a list so I know what I *want* lol. I'm probably going to a different vendor for tomatoes, the ones they bagged up for me were soft and went bad in 2 days. Nice guy and his young daughters help (maybe 10-12 years old?) but they suck at picking out tomatoes lol. I saw they're having a new vendor with pasture raised chicken, so might swing by there and see how they price against the grocery store free range ones. Can you tell I'm excited about the farmers market this time? lol And ok -I swear I have a ghost. I have bought baking powder for the last 3 weeks (grocery pick up) and I can NOT find it, even though I know where I put it -it's just gone every week. I know neither dh or ds have any reason to move it (they deny it but they always do because they know it ticks me off to have to search for something). So ergo: ghost... apparently one that likes to bake.

Hello Everyone DotRen - I was very disappointed with the produce I bought at a farm market in August. It all went bad within a day or two. Hope you can find some things you need/want and that they are good this time. Let us know if you find some baked goods in your kitchen that you didn't bake sunrose - Hope you were able to get things done in your house. I did a lot of decluttering earlier this year but I want to do another sweep of the house this fall. I'm doing pretty well I guess, but I just wish I could figure out what foods I really want to eat. Only a few things have been appealing to me lately and I just think it's ridiculous forcing myself to eat something. I have such a messed up relationship with food. DotRen - you mentioned getting food delivered. I could never do that (I guess unless I was incapacitated) because I don't like people to see the food I buy. The one good thing about that is that I'd never have "fast food" type foods delivered to my house. I like to go in stores where they have the self checkout so I can go through those. It sure is difficult to try to "fix" all this food issues, many of which I've had since I was a child. Hope everyone is doing well otherwise and on their plans too

Lol CJ, I will! I don't know if I'd eat ghost cake I found that delivery really helps me keep my eating cleaner. The whole "out of sight/out of mind" thing I guess. My husband doesn't like it because my impulse buys were usually hershey bars, pastries, etc lol. sunrose49, Your post gave me the push I needed to start cleaning my pantry out. I am bad about letting things expire. I did get 2 of the cloth grocery bags full of canned goods for the food pantry donation though (not expired). Like, I had 9 can's of garbanzo beans! I don't remember buying that many, maybe it was the ghost lol.
