Connie, Congratulations on your anniversary! When you say cleaning out the fridge of it's leftovers do you mean you're getting rid of them by throwing them out or are you planning on setting one BIG dinner table and chowing down? lol. Just joking. I think. lol.
No need to apologize about the posting thing. We all have different lives, schedules, and things going on. We're always glad to hear from you. After the debate I told my spouse I like them all. Well, not impressed with Castro though. Back off, Bud. Leave Uncle Joe alone.
BTW, I love your avatar!
Lani, right? lol.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes! birdgal , I dragged all of the containers out and put them on the counter and let everyone make their own plate and nuke it!! We had intended to get take out food but my daughter-in-law suggested we use up the food we already had. I find it impossible to cook for 4 and have just the right quantity! But hate, hate, hate throwing food away. That pic of the hummingbird in my hand is sure a great memory, almost up there with having my kids or my wedding day. The little bird was dying (stuck in my garage overnight) and I brought it back to life.

I herd Lawrence repeated from Friday MSNBC tonight say every Democratic presidential candidates if they have legislation from if the senate majority was democratic and the house whatever legislation that passed on health care they would sign. He said that the correct question would you sign the legislation on health care would you sign it?

Just want to say hello as I sit here by my mom's bedside watching her sleep, and praying that for her this will all end soon. We would never allow an animal to linger and suffer like this, so for the life of me I can not understand why when all hope is gone we allow it for those we most love. The body is a complicated thing. It continues to fight against all odds and even when the opposite would be in the person's best interest. Suffice it to say I am enjoying reading all your posts, but emotionally just can't concentrate on politics right now.

Joyce, I know how hurtful this is. Emotions going in one direction and in an instant the other and then back again. Love hurts. Please know we are here for you holding you and your Mom close to our hearts.
With love and hugs and more love.

conniefromct A belated Happy Anniversary! nashville11 I feel for you. My 98 year old mother passed away this year. While I don't think she was in pain at the end, she had no real quality of life. I went to visit her at the end of February and said good by to her then. She passed at the end of March.
