Good evening all. Wednesday we have an 80% chance of rain! Should that be the case, we'll stick close to home. One of the guys in our retirement community is home from the hospital. I shall call his wife to see if he's up for company. Other than that, KOKO for me.

Just got back from grocery shopping..the walmart grocery online is not in service this week due to hurricane. Traffic is heavy here in the midlands. My daughter works in downtown Columbia and its a 30 min drive normally. It took her an hour and a half to get home. Small inconveniences compared to what some have faced and are facing. Expected to hug our coast (I'm about 2 hrs from the coast in SC) We may get tropical force winds and rain here but nothing too terrible hopefully. Weds will be a normal work day. Whatever normal workday means...lol I'm committed to staying OP and having a good WI next week Ann, Should be a nice visit if your friends are up to it. Hope the rain does not keep you from doing what you need to do:) Becky, LOL on sexy scissors! hope you are liking your hair cut. For now I'm going to stay on SP. May look into doing the fS after I get my head back n the game.

Okay, so I lied, I never made it back to chat today/yesterday.
Bible Study was good. I forget who asked, but she has decreased the amount of stuff she puts out.
Ann, we have 7 days forecasting no rain chances! Doing a happy dance. Our ground is so waterlogged, it stinks. Hope your neighbor recoups well.
Becky, if they just marked the broomstick lanes as they did highways, we could do it. LOL Hope you have a good day tomorrow. I shall try to stay in my lane also.
LaDonna, glad you got the groceries. I bet there is a lot of extra traffic around. I cannot imagine what those folks in the Bahamas went through. For it just to stall there was unbelievable.
I am WILLING to be AWARE and will hydrate.
Hope AWF have a great OP day!!

The friend is fine. Had a lipoma removed from her hand. What took so much time was the waiting. The actual procedure took under half an hour. I think the doctor did the procedure in the hospital to make more money!
Today I am with friends in Tripoli. There will be a smaller group since the Greeks are in Greece, one person is busy, one has moved away and one can only stay an hour. Ah well...we will have fun however many we end up being.
My brother-in-law and my sister are happy he is only having one longer operation in two areas rather than going in on two separate days.

Read yesterday's personals. You all crack me up.
Ann LOL... the only broomstick that I could see you piloting is a Nimbus 2019. (Harry Potter reference) KOKO in your recovery. The more you feel like yourself, the less that you will need duct tape or that reset button.
Audrey Ugh... that heat sounds miserable. Good for you for being activity outside for 30 minutes, then focusing on movement in other ways inside your home orwith a trainer.
Bee j Hope that BS was uplifting. How was you encounter w/ Snack Lane?
Becky Am glad that your recumbent bike is working out so well. Plz tell me how to send rain. I would gladly give you some of ours. I bet Kenneth did a good job on your hair. Seems like a good way to save yourself a trip into the salon if you only need a trim. I am pretty lazy when it comes to my hair. I get it cut into a chin length bob, then let it grow to my shoulders before I cut it again.
Cathy Have a lot of fun at your Wednesday gathering. Hope there is a pool and a few healthier food options.
Mj Great to have leftovers for another meal and to stock up the freezer and/or cupboards. Sending extra prayers for the Mousekeeter as he starts a new school year. So, your summer break will soon come to an end. Time to really break in that new set of wheels.
LaDonna The "creep" can be treacherous. Good for you committing to putting on the brakes and steering yourself where you want to be. It really is a process.
Susi Are you recovered from the last big summer holiday? Hope so.
Pam Congrats on the 2 lb loss. Super!!

Okey dokey
Wednesday's goals Walk when on campus. Walk in inner quad before class, walk to classes, take steps, and walk during office hour, and walk from farthest open parking lot. Try to sit in the sun and just "be." Bubble bath.
Yesterday was rough. Mom went to ER from nursing home. Not exactly clear on how she fell getting dressed after her shower on Monday. She awoke on Tuesday feeling sore, limping, and was very confused. CAT Scan, X-rays were fine.
Will spare you all the other stuff. Let's just say I am tired and leave it at that.
Will try to check in later. Time to grab another tea & switch to teacher grading at least 4-5 papers in her pjs mode before getting ready for class.

Good morning all. Looking at the radar, it appears that the rain is going just north of us. Of course that could change but I'll take it Slept pretty good. Hopefully we'll get to see our neighbor. I'll call first as I don't want to intrude if he is not up for company. June so very sorry to hear about your DM's fall. Happy the CT scan didn't show a thing. Hopefully she will be less sore as the day goes on. Great goals for today. I have a nice image of you sitting in the sun and just be Praying the stress leaves you. LOL I was thinking Henry Potter when I mentioned my broomstick Cathy happy all went well for your friend. That is great that your BIL will be having one longer surgery. Both remain in my prayers. Enjoy being with your smaller group of friends. Bee I'll be willing and aware right along with you. KOKO for today! LaDonna praying you and your family stay safe! I can imagine all the traffic...... ((hugs)) Becky enjoy shopping. I have several broomsticks and will give you one Waving and will pop in later.

Good morning, all!

DivaTaxi's done its morning run. but there is no MHMR until tomorrow. MissMilla starts the school year today at Stuart; MrLogan is back in session in Hillsborough tomorrow. It's the first day of school for students in Woodbridge Twp, and that means "School's IN" for five of our DGSons, in all three levels of education for the first time - high school, middle school, elementary school. The oldest starts HS, his brother starts middle school, and there are three in elementary, including the youngest who is heading to his first day of kindergarten, so it's the end of an era - no more pre-schoolers in our family!
We picked up the pole saw yesterday and will be staying close to home in case the furnace repair guy comes so we'll get those trees trimmed. I've made some of the calls on my list but there are more. Toots has a band gig tonight so any yard work will be done by mid-day so he can get a good nap.
I MUST clear off my desk... and the table... and the other "catch-all" table... mustMustMUST... and then dust...
I've got a full pot of coffee... βββ... to fuel my efforts...
πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏπ»πΏ
