Good morning everyone! sunrose49 - good to see you back! cj59 - good luck for WI! This weekend was pretty good for me, all things considered. Not perfect, but I'm doing better, I think. I got on the scale this morning to check out how I did on the weekend and how I'm doing so far this week. I was surprised that I was up about 1.8 over the weekend (I'm not sure that's a real gain - my weekend was pretty good, and I don't feel like I've gained a couple of pounds). The plan for these next couple of days before WI is just to keep at it! I went to the gym this morning and I plan on going tomorrow as well. I'm hoping for a good loss this week. I need to lose 0.6 to put me back to my lowest yet since starting this journey; I'm hoping for a couple of pounds.

Hello Everyone sunrose - Good for you on getting the exercise and that your eating was better wwlurker - that weight gain could just be fluid, so hopefully you'll see a loss over the next few days. I hope you see that 0.6 loss this week Well, I have some exciting news - when I weighed in today I hit my goal weight right on the nose (I guess that's a sign LOL). I was so excited, but I'm also so scared. I've never been at my goal weight before, and I've never done maintenance or learned how not to regain my weight. I'm just hoping that the hard work I've done over the last 2 years and 1 month it took me to get here - as well as all I've learned, will help to keep me on track to keep this weight off. I'm going to stay in weight loss mode this week, because it's the end of the month, and I like to start things at the beginning of a month. That makes sense to me in my head I really appreciate all the support I get in this thread and I know that has been a part of what has brought me to this place today with meeting my goal - so thank you very much for that

cj59 - CONGRATULATIONS! That is so awesome! I am very happy for you! sunrose49 - I've been trying to get my exercise in again lately as well. I feel so much better when I do. Yesterday I was roped into a lunch with a friend and I didn't make the best choice. I'm easily convinced to ditch my packed lunch and go get something delicious. Usually, I try to consider whether it's a special occasion warranting an indulgence, or just a substitute for my packed lunch. Yesterday that didn't work - it wasn't a special occasion, but I really wanted what I ordered. So, I tracked it and moved on. Today I was back down to where I was pre-weekend, so I'm expecting to see a loss at WI tomorrow. I'd like a good couple of pounds, but I'll take what I can get! I'm probably 2 WIs away from a new "decade." I hope everyone has a great, OP day!

cj59, congratulations! What an awesome accomplishment. I can still remember how I felt. It is a good feeling. You'll do great on maintenance.
wwlurker, I use to do the same thing when I worked. It's just nice to get out sometimes. That's great too that the scale when back down.
I could not make my WW meeting this morning because of Maddie and it is so early. I plan to go on Thursday. I too am hoping for a nice loss.

Hello Everyone Thanks so much for the congratulations on my reaching goal. Now you'll get to hear about all my trials and tribulations during maintenance wwlurker - Good luck and your weigh-in tomorrow, I hope you see the number you want to see on the scale. sunrose - I hope your weigh-in goes well on Thursday too. I'm staying on track today. I went grocery shopping and avoided buying several foods that I didn't need to have in the house. I feel strong and on track, so I just need to keep working to stay that way each day. Take care everyone!

good morning, I was down 2 lbs this week after a stall last week. I have lose 18 lbs since Jan 3, averaging 1.5 per week, in my younger days I could close to double that. I am happy with how this is going, I am eating well, exercising, feeling better and sleeping extremely well. I have a challenge to keep up the 1.5 per week and lose 15 lbs in 10 weeks, we go on vacation June 6th, If I can do this I will be where I was a year and a half ago when i got stuck and gave up and put it all back on. So I am challenging myself to stick it out, eat right, and step up the activity, today is my 5th straight day doing my wii run before work.

hiker - WTG with the loss! You have a great goal in place.
cj59 - I'd love to hear how maintenance goes for you. Keep up the good work.
How long have you all been posting together?

Good morning everyone! cj59 - sounds like you are keeping on plan well! hiker - congrats on the loss - I can totally relate to the slow loss - my metabolism tanked when I hit 35, I think. This process has been painfully slow for me, but I'm trying to look at it like practice for maintenance - this is how I'm going to be eating for the rest of my life. sunrose49 - I've been posting fairly consistently since late last year, when I joined my current program. Today was WI for me. I was down 1.4. Overall, I was pleased. It wasn't a perfect week, but it was a pretty good week. I only had a few instances of mindless eating or lack of control. I also had two conscious indulgence meals. My plan this week is to continue the increased activity, to work hard on mindless eating and to keep alcohol to a minimum at a work-related event I'm attending this weekend. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well today hiker - Congratulations on the steady loss and closing in on getting back to where you were. I wish you all the best with getting to your goal by your vacation date. sunrose - These boards started back in August 2016 I think, and we started this thread late last year I think. There's only been a few posters here, so I'm happy to see more people posting to support those of us who have/had a lot of weight to lose. wwlurker - Congratulations on the loss this week. I think half the battle is figuring out what does and doesn't work for us, and you sound like you have a good handle on that. I hope this next week is a good one too. I'm doing well today and staying on track. I've been trying to plan out my meals for the rest of the week. I think that I will officially start on Maintenance on Saturday (April 1st). I think on this old WW plan (Momentum) I should add back 6 points to my daily points, but I'm concerned that is too much and I think that I'll start with adding 4 points a day and see how that goes. I'll really have to work hard mentally not to be worried if I see the scale go up after raising my points. I have to keep reminding myself this is a process to get to the point where I can know how much I can eat each day to maintain my loss. Maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones that loses weight and I get to add points Take care everyone.

Hello everyone! cj59 - It's so exciting for you to start experimenting with adding back points. I think it's helpful to have a range in mind as to what your goal is (i.e. 2 up or 2 down). That helps not to get too worried if the scale goes up a bit. Today is a very hectic day for me. It's funny that I never know from one day to the next how my days will play out at work. Today is a busy one. I packed a lunch, but I'm in the mood for an OP lunch out, so I'm thinking that I'm going to go grab something and take it back to the office. I worked late yesterday as per usual, but today my desk exploded and I'm likely going to be working tonight as well. I'm happy to be working away OP. I have a few challenges this week, but I really want to stay on top of things and have another good loss this week. I've had three losses in a row, which is amazing for me and I want to keep up the consistency. I went to the gym this morning, even though I really didn't have time. I'm glad I did. I find it helpful for my stress levels. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hi wwlurker - good for you going to the gym and you sound like you're really working this program well. I hope it continues to go good for you. I think I'm going to set a 5 lb range for up or down with my weight during maintenance. I know WW does 2 lbs, but I just think it's so easy for our bodies to retain fluid and worrying about 2 lbs might drive me a little crazy. I'm doing well today and staying on track. I'm getting things ready to start maintenance on Saturday. I've also been reading around the Internet in places where people who are on maintenance post so I can get any tips they have. Hope everyone else is doing well on their plans

Good morning
cj59 I remember how crazy the maintenance was for me. Do you have to do it for 6 weeks? I made LT in 91 so it's been a while. We are here for you!!
wwlurker WTG with 3 losses in a row! That is awesome.
I had a nice loss at my WW meeting yesterday - 2.2 - and also got my first 5lb star. It took way to long to get.
Working on my steps today. Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning! Last night I had pie and grilled cheese for supper. Not the best choice - definitely reflective of a lack of planning. cj59 - good thinking. You have spent quite some time preparing for maintenance, so hopefully you will have an easier go of it. I would love to see the tips and tricks you find! sunrose49 - nice loss! Today I am leaving for a work thing shortly. I stopped at the grocery store and picked up some healthy snacks to take with me. I'm hoping to minimize any disruption to my plan with this work thing. Hope everyone has a great, OP day!

Hello Everyone sunrose - Congratulations on the weight loss and the 5 lb star Since I'm doing and older WW plan on my own, I guess I can make Maintenance be however long I want. But I'm going to go for 6 weeks, like they do at WW. wwlurker - Good for you getting some healthy snacks to take to work, hope you had a good day I'm doing well today. I ate lunch at a restaurant and I had planned for it by checking their menu and nutritional info and I stuck to what I had decided to eat. I'll weigh-in tomorrow since I like to do that on the first day of every month (when I'm dieting). I only lost a few pounds this month but I think that's to be expected now that I'm at goal weight. I'm interested to see how my weight fluctuates over the next six weeks. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
