I saw N is for Nurse she has the new book from WW. She had to be careful in not giving everything away But the did say 3 programs one simply filling but no bread then 2 other programs one more strict then the other which is the same program they have already now.

free style does not gonaway but they may change some of the 0 points list. then the other strict free style with more points given but less 0 points.

with fruit and lentils and chicken broth my calories are 1617. That is what I want treat a day. I am in it for the long haul.

amrys - I'm glad you are excited for the new plan and it sounds like it will fit right in with how you are eating.
DotRen - WW wants us all back, so they can get our money The weather is finally cooler here, so that makes me happy. It's so much easier to be active when it's not so hot. I'm doing about the same with my eating. I just need to spend some time seriously thinking about where I want to go from here. I'm not sure if the new WW will be right for me, but I might try it - we'll see.
Hope everyone is doing well on their programs and in their lives

sunrose - I'm glad you made it home safely and I hope you had a wonderful time I got another email from WW today! I think this one is 50% off to join by next week. From what I've been reading out on the General Thread the new program sounds interesting with the different options. But I'd rather wait and see what people say about it before possibly rejoining. I'm having really nice fall weather here, and it's so enjoyable. Hope everyone checking in is doing well

cj59, yeah Ww is trying hard to get people to sign up NOW. I wonder if it's because they know people will not like the new changes next month and want that 3-6 month $$ locked in before then lol. A cool front is coming in today - yeah! I have my chili ingredients ready for tomorrow

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well DotRen - I think you have it right about WW wanting to get people locked into the 3-6 months. I'm not doing that again. Hope you enjoy your chili when you make it. I've been wanting to cook more things in my slow cooker. I say I will each fall and winter and then never do, so maybe this year I will. I've been doing pretty well with the 100 day challenge and I think in November I'll add another daily thing - right now I have 4 daily goals. I need to step up my health eating and the challenge is motivating to me. I'm glad to be getting more exercise too, I had really become lazy Have a great weekend!

Happy Saturday! sunrose49, Good to see you! Glad you enjoyed your trip. cj59, Sounds like you're doing phenomenal! Is the 100 day challenge your secret? DotRen, Did you say chili?! I love chili. My father-in-law makes killer chili but I can't get the recipe from him. He says it's a secret. Can you share yours? I'm on plan and I feel good about that! It's literally one meal/snack at a time. I can't say "I'm going to stick to my diet today" because even that's too daunting. Just breakfast. Then try again at lunch. Etc. I cleaned out the fridge yesterday so I have a big win there. I'm reading my ARC from Beck in the morning and it's really helping. Hooray!

irisinnia, I never measure anything so this is a guesstimate lol. Basically I use 2 pounds of ground beef (or turkey), and 14oz cans of: crushed tomatoes and tomato puree, 16oz beef broth, about 1 large onion, diced; 2 fresh jalapenos rough chopped(the break down during cooking), 1 tablespoon dark unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons chili powder, 2 teaspoons cumin, 1 teaspoon each garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper to taste. Brown the beef, jalapenos and onion then add everything else and simmer about 2 hours (turn heat to low once it starts to boil) covered. It's usually thick enough, but I add a little tomato paste if needed.
