Good morning! Have fun at jazzercise Sunrose I made the mistake of picking up some thinables crackers. They're low carb and lower calorie than cheeze-its and taste pretty much the same, but I have no control when they're around and I'll eat 1/2 a bag (6 servings per bag my butt). Well, picking up the car this morning, not repaired. They could not get it to act up again but they cleaned the throttle body and air flow stuff. The mechanic said that's a "usual" culprit when a car dies for no reason. He can't guarantee that's the problem, but since they couldn't get a code to pop to tell them what it is, that "could" fix it. When he said the cleaned the throttle body, that rang a bell, like maybe that's what they did 3-4 years ago when it happened. Anyway, son isn't worried about driving it since he's usually going to and from work on off hours, not a lot of traffic to deal with. And he can use my car for around town if he needs to go anywhere. Ron said he'll ask around at work and see if anyone is selling any cars. They will tell him if there are any problems with them, so that's a good thing.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well sunrose - I'm glad you are enjoying the jazzercise class, that has to be burning calories! DotRen - I hope your DS can find another car that's more reliable, sorry they couldn't find anything specifically wrong. I guess I'm doing alright, I'm sticking to the 100 Day Challenge goals each day, but I am eating too much other junk. I'm hoping I can stop that in November.

sunrose - Hope you have a wonderful time with your sister and a safe trip there and back I'm feeling "blah" about weight loss in general. I would really like to get motivated again to lose some of the weight I gained back. Guess I need to get serious and quit thinking it's going to happen without hard work on my part Hope everyone is doing well today in their lives and on their plans

Hello Everyone amrys - Hope the classes are going well. Sounds like you are really working your plan, hope your WW meeting tomorrow is a good one. I'm doing pretty well. I've been working at doing some dedicated exercise everyday and have been successful at that, just have to keep it up. And I'm seriously thinking about what type of eating plan I want to have in November, so hopefully I can get that decided too. I don't want to spend November in "holiday mode" thinking and eating everything that goes with that. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi folks! Excuse the intrusion I am just popping in to let both boards (Less to Lose and A Lot to Lose) know we are going to merge you guys and call it the "Weight to Lose" board. We are posting this announcement now before we do the actual merge so all the regulars know it is coming and will be able to find it with no issues. Same place, just a name change. If you have this board bookmarked it will still work (I did a test run with the recipe board) and none of your threads will be lost. We are doing this because we are going to be adding a few new boards (see our post BIG NEWS in the announcements for more information) and wanted to streamline things to add some space. Thanks a bunch for being a part of our community!

DebDoesWW - Thanks for the heads-up on moving the thread. I sure do appreciate all you do for us here on the board amrys - Congratulations on the weight loss - I'm sure that feels great. I'm glad you found a plan that is working for you I see the new Points Plus thread on this board and it's tempting me to think about doing Points Plus in November. I have the materials from when it first came out and there are several online calculators so I should be able to get the points values on most foods. This sounds a bit crazy (but I am a bit crazy ) but I was thinking I could eat the way I'm planning to in November (lower sugar, fat and calories - more fruits and vegetables) and then count the old points value, the Points Plus value and the calories each day and just kind of see how that works out and what's easier for me. I think about it for the next week. I just know I want to do something a little different. Hope everyone is having a great weekend and doing well on their plans.

cj59 , Do it! Do it! Said the extremely biased Points Plus fan (me). lol But bias aside, it would be a great idea to triple track, even if it's just for a day. If you want to keep it simple, just track on paper in detail what you eat, and then do the math at the end of the day/week. I've done that before and lets just say, I'm very solidified in my PointsPlus decision. SmartPoints and Calories were their own forms of torture. And if you decide to stick with the old points, that's great too! Sometimes I think deciding what's NOT going to work for you brings you back to what DOES. amyrs , Wow! Congratulations! Sounds like you're putting in some hard work. sunrose49 , DotRen , How are you fabulous ladies doing? I'm super busy, super happy, and totally on plan! I made some 3PP Muffins and some 0PP Cauliflower Poppers today and feel the most in control I have in months. I got my water in, my fruits, and veggies, and I feel great! Technically, I'm still fighting this cold that won't go away, but I think the healthy moves might pull me out of it. I hope! I wish you all motivation, perseverance, and success!

sunrose49, cj59, amyrs, DebDoesWW, irisinnia, Good morning! WW keeps emailing me with deals and offers lol. Still no "low carb" options that include healthy fats that aren't punished points-wise. Ron is still doing well on plan, which surprised me. His left knee is aching, so I suggested he start taking a turmeric based arthritis supplement and just see if it helps. Since I stopped making extra starches/grains for dinner, son has even dropped a few pounds lol. He still eats junk when he's away from the house, but he has cut way back on sugary drinks, and I think he finally realized the energy drinks were making him 'crash' after the spiked his energy for a while.

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all doing well irisinnia - I'm happy to hear you are working the Points Plus plan and enjoying it. You are right that finding what works for us is a great feeling. I like to pen and paper track, so writing everything down and then figuring up the points once a day or every couple days would work for me. I'm just going to eat as healthy as possible and see how it all works out. I think it will be interesting to see the different daily totals. DotRen - I'm glad to hear your DH and DS are doing well with eating like you at the house. I'm sorry there isn't a WW option that works for you, but it sounds like you have lots of other places to check in that support you eating style, so I'm glad for you about that. I'm doing alright and just trying to keep up with my 100 day challenge goals and then I'm thinking that I'll start my eating plan next Monday, since I might have some events to attend this weekend. We'll see how it goes from there
