Good morning MJ, Rene and ATF!
I'm in. I just learned that my niece, her DH and baby Maya will be visiting from N. Carolina next week. It will be the first time I meet little Maya in person. I can't wait!
It's a gorgeous but, chilly morning here. Yesterday's rain was most welcome - everything was bone dry and wilted. And not for nothing, I didn't have to water. A typical Friday on tap for me. Later, dinner and a movie.

Good morning and Happy T*G*I*F* to all! The grands are spending the night so their parents can have a date night. They've requested Mexican food so it's going to be tacos, nachos and queso. WOW! Have a good weekend, friends. doordie50 , if you have Amazon Prime, another season of Goliath started today. We've enjoyed this series in the past so DH and I will view it tomorrow night. This series stars Billy Bob Thornton and this season the bad guy is Dennis Quaid. Looks good. |

You guys aren't even going to believe this. I back up to a creek, I look out my backyard this morning and I thought it was a squirrel (tons here) so I do a double take because the ears are pointed. Yep, must not even be a month old kitten. She took off running but I put some food back there and went in the house and she came back under the fence and ate it. How do they KNOW. 🤦♀️

I'm in & had an interesting morning. Our cookbook club was contacted by the Rachael Ray show to cook & taste one of her recipes. She's releasing another book this month. We were given Dozen Spiced Chicken Drumettes with Jalapeno Grits to make. We'll see if they like it enough to use on her show. DebDoesWW, Your other kitties must be providing great Yelp reviews.  |

Fab Friday here and I’m in, brunch as been tracked and I’m hydrating and getting steps in. The sky is beautifully blue and the trees are still beautiful. We can sense the arrival of weekenders given the restaurant crowd. We are heading home tomorrow. What a wonderful get away.
