Hi girls. Well after LuLa came back from her 'shot' we took her for a quick 'business walk' as the sky was clear...by the time we got under the carport it started to rain, so we all lucked out.
Carl had to pick up an Rx so I tagged along and once there we decided to get out tetanus shots. Now we are all done with that and all shots for this year. My arms were not sore, so I figured I'd get it done now rather than prolong it. So far, so good...but I will more than likely be sore tomorrow.
I do plan on going to weight watchers for my 'drive by weigh in' and get my voucher...but it depends on how I feel tomorrow. I also want to switch over the rest of the summer clothes and take out the heavier clothes. I'll have lots of laundry to do...but it doesn't have to all be done at once! That's what I tell myself anyway. I don't always listen LOL.
Becky yes it's amazing how quickly time flies by. What brings it 'front and center' is when you run into someone as you did in your HEB. Not really sure if there is a lot of lyme disease here. All I know is that if an animal goes out they want to give them a yearly shot and we also apply frontline monthly which is an OTC ointment. We live in a heavily wooded area, so I'm sure there are lots of ticks here. One gal that lives in our community has lyme disease and goes for treatments every so often. Used to be once a week when it first happened to her. She has various issues and problems and they keep switching out her meds. I dont' see her that often and she is a quiet person, so if she doesn't bring it up, neither do I.
June so good to hear from you and so happy that your dear and wonderful SIL prepared dinner. I can relate to how overjoyed that made you feel Also great that R continues to improve. I know it's due to all the TLC you give him. LOL to looking forward to boringly normal. Those are happy words for me as well.
Time for me to relax. Going to read a bit and then turn in early.
Sweet dreams, all!
