Friday I shall do what I know works. Be willing and aware and follow GHG's.
Not sure what our plans are. May be getting together with Sheila George and Donna.
Sweet dreams.

I will:
* journal * hydrate * have a fruit and/or vegetable at every meal * track exchanges * stay positive
That said...just cleaned up the latte spilled in the dining room and made another one. I finished a novel about a naval aviator flying in the Pacific during WW II, opted not to read a billionaire romance that when started seemed too silly to read the whole book and then started a GOOD book at about 11 and went to bed at 2:30 realizing if I did not go to bed I would stay up all night to finish the book.
Today I will come up with a recipe for the spinach...maybe a rice crust spinach quiche and also cook a few other things. It will be a good day.
Trying to remember if I had a flu shot last year...I remember getting some kind of shot and thinking the guy who gave it did it in a way that would create pain later but...oh well.
ANN: I don't know which WW program I would choose at this point in time. I reached goal weight on the Exchange program of 1984 and lost to goal weight again using the first points program in 1998/9. I have lost ten pounds in one month using Core but have not really used any of the other programs. It is NOT nippy here...I am jealous. That said...it is nice out this time of year so won't complain. Hooray for another successful weigh-in.
MJ: What a difference a few years makes! Kressling is as big as whoever is holding him! How old is Kressling now...read about the ball and wondered. I just googled Young Marines...interesting concept. It reminds me a bit of scouts and the church group we had growing up that was a type of scout group unaffiliated with the major scout groups. Do many of the YM's go on to become Marines?
BEE: I find that the light around me while on the computer can make a difference. If I face into the sun then I end up with trouble so end up closing the curtains or turning to the side. Hope your eyes are better soon.
LADONNA: I know...500 roses and she is going to Russia to pick up some MORE! I hope you enjoyed dinner and met your goals for the day.
SUSI: You are smart to continue working with the goal of paying down the mortgage. Will you have to stop working at 70?
PAM: Snow then gone and 80 outside...STRANGE! I haven't had a haircut for over three months and it NEEDS to be cut. It was VERY short last time but even if I were to let it grow out it would need a trim by now! Hope you managed the blue dot for the day!
AUDREY: I don't know what Autumn is like there but it is lovely here. Am guessing it might be similar. This and spring are probably my favorite times of year in Lebanon.
BECKY: I am not eligible for social security because I did not work in jobs that paid into it and when the job didn't pay into it the US govt would let me pay into it. So...I am without. Ah well...it is what it is. Figuring it all out doesn't sound easy!

Sweet dreams Ann Cathy - That must be a good book if you forced yourself to put it down. Bee - Thank you I have a goal of stopping work at 70. It will depend on health and finances at the time. Based on things today, that is a reasonable goal. My former boss worked until 72 and a coworker is going strong at 73.

Good morning, Ann - Cathy - Susi - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...
πππππππππ
DivaTaxi. MHMR. LA-F. MousekePickUP. I am supposed to go to The Plantation but may beg off this evening - we will be there next weekend from Saturday into Sunday (parents are going to a wedding) so MissMilla & I still have time to work on her costume next Sunday morning (Toots is going down Saturday morning; I'll get there late Saturday night, after the YM Ball).
My replacement credit card arrived quite early yesterday <YAY!>. I still have to go into the four medical accounts and make sure that the new number is entered; they've all "hit" the old account for October already. I have two more bills to pay this month, one I can do now and the other is the electric bill that isn't here yet.
Toots had a good dental visit - cleaning and checkup (no x-rays). And then we did a bunch of CinderElla/Fella things until the Kressling arrived at 2:45 (when he comes in, the whole dynamic shifts a bit). We dropped him at soccer practice for 6 PM and then he came back here until Son#1 picked him up after K'ling2's practice.
I'm really not in the mood for PT this morning. I slept without the brace and must've "slept funny" because my wrist hurts like heck this morning. But that's why I call it PT and not "going to the gym" or "working out". I don't gotta wanna - I just gotta DO.
Will definitely need extra coffee... βββ...
πππππππππ Have a healthy-eating day, all! πππππππππ

Good morning all. Susi good luck with your goals re: working. You will know when it's time to call it quits. MJ hope your wrist feels better. Could very well be that you slept 'wrong'. Glad to hear that Toots had a good dental visit.
Cathy great goals. What book are you reading?
Today still on the fence about what to do. Will see if Sheila is up for company and perhaps stop there later in the day. I know her daughter and SIL are going over...so she may be tired. Waving...and wishing all a good and OP Friday!

Went to see eye doc yesterday afternoon as I thought I might have a scratch on my cornea.
The doc said I do not have a scratch, but have some irritations on my cornea. He says it is caused by how she cut the lids apart.
Ask me if I had let the surgeon know, and I said no because I am not going back to Houston.
He is sending me to an ocular specialist in New Orleans. He prepared me for there may be nothing that can be done for the lid.
Today I will find out when my appointment is.
Thanks for ALL prayers.
Not sure what today holds yet. Coffee is dripping. BUT I HAVE NO HEADACHE! That may simply be because I have been off the computer. LOL

Bee keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully your appointment will be soon. (((hugs)))
We just got back from our first hood walk. I was comfy with a light jacket on. I think winter is going to come sooner than we think!

Last night we saw We Will Rock You presented by a national touring company. DH hated the first half and I thought weβd have to leave but he liked the second half much better. I slept better last night. Today I am getting a color and cut. I pick up Leo from school and will take him to see the new Addams Family movie. Tomorrow Mary will spend the night so we are taking her to our favorite seafood restaurant. She is 9 and loves fish but doesnβt have opportunities to eat at restaurants. Busy weekend. Cathy, our high temps are in the low 80s and lows are high 40s. Hi to everyone and hope we all have a good weekend.

I am being helped tremendously by staying away from the computer. Downloaded something from Care You Eyes Pro that lets me make my screen black and white when I use it.
Not taking time to read.
Hope ALL are well.
Thanks for ALL prayers.
