Cathy, Hope you are doing OK.
Clair and I went to the university to the Halloween party. She was dressed in an adorable ladybug outfit. That place was totally mobbed for over and hour and a half. The students were so excited and the dogs all looked adorable. Of course since I am prejudiced Clair looked the cutest!!! Anyway, shocker! about the paw print stickers which I told the kids were Clair's treat for them--those stickers definitely were a hit. Also many fan cards were taken. All and all it was so much fun and very successful. Hard to explain how pleasant it is to spend that much time with those over the top happy kids!
Cathy, I tried to figure out what is going on but not too sure about the accuracy of the internet reports. Hope you are not without power for all of these days and are able to get your groceries. Also that no wildfires are effecting your area.

Yesterday was an OP day and 30 minutes of walking was done. Today we will try to go out for groceries. I have food in the house but want to get a few more items that I have not had for awhile or that I am running low on.
Affirmation: I know the universe will provide what I need when I need it. Fitness: Yesterday's exercise was zipping around the supermarket looking for items on my grocery liist Health: another healthy OP vegan day under my belt (the belt I will wear again when I have a smaller waist awaits me) Spiritual: Listening...truly listening to and hearing the abuncance of life around me is a beautiful thing - birdsong, frogs croaking, jackals calling.
Gratitude: Five senses intact and functioning well to provide my life with interest
Went grocery shopping and did not find everything I wanted but did find a few things. I will look for tofu elsewhere at some point in the future. I wonder how difficult it is to make from scratch?
I am more into the whole food plant based 21-day challenge through UC Davis's Integrated Medicine site...it is another attempt at being vegan though this one also pushes to get rid of oil, sugar and salt... We have olives we press for oil and we brine them and we use sugar to make preserves from the fruit and I like salt. I guess baby steps is the way to go.
Michelle: I used to sit in an olive grove while Mounah worked in the larger part of the open garden. I used to "feel" fairies around me in the rocks, behind the trees and flitting through the flowers. I hope it was not just poisonous snakes
