AFFIRMATION: I am a being of light
Physical: being able to do what I need to do each day is a good thing
Mental: mental agility is mine
Spiritual: Laughter fills my spirit with joy
Gratitude: Wednesdays with friends
It will be fun, though rainy, today.
MICHELLE: I hope you won't be long without your computer. I like being cut off in some ways and hate it in others. I am thankful I at least still have my phone to keep in touch with family and friends when the computer is not as it should be.

Affirmation: I am enveloped in a bubble of happiness! Spiritual: Trusting that Universe will deliver Physical: 10,000 Steps already today--I have been being a cleaning maniac Gratitude: Pictures on the Paws4Love Facebook site of Clair taken by other Teams Cathy, I agree about being able to do what I do--it counts for exercise for me. Loved!!! your Spiritual. A couple of the pics on Facebook of Clair are utterly adorable. Therapy Dog stuff sometimes just makes me so happy! Cloudy and rainy/snowy here today also. I was scheduled to take Clair to the 911 Crisis Call center today but it was snowing very hard so I had to skip going. I no longer subject myself to hours of dangerous driving conditions--when I was younger I didn't care and would drive no matter what. Time to walk the dogs again.

AFFIRMATION: I will have the house ready for my daughter's arrival next Monday Physical: Touching my toes every day will mean being able to do so every day I live Mental: reading keeps me sharp Spiritual: dark rainy days are a blessing Gratitude: Rain - I will do some cleaning but perhaps not as much as I would if the sun was shining I had fun with friends yesterday. I will work on the kitchen and then tackle the laundry and my daughter's room...well...my daughter's room might wait till tomorrow
MICHELLE: I don't think we are friends on Facebook? I haven't seen photos of Clair. Do you do different types of work/training with each of your dogs?

Affirmation: Another lovely day to be alive! Spiritual: Trusting that the Universe does deliver Physical: 10,359 Steps
Gratitude: Trees
Cathy, I will try to figure out how to friend you but the Paws Facebook site is open to all. It should be "Paws 4 Love Reno - Home". "All Photos" and here are the rows and positions. Row From the Left Jet.Com's huge warehouse facility and University Health Fair type of event
1 2 2 3 5 4 8 1 9 3 Ladybug photos 23 2 26 1 27 4
Hopefully you can find them with this description. Today we will go to the University but no Paws photos are taken there because many of the events we attend are not part of that group.
How long will your daughter be visiting. Good luck cleaning. Actually, I almost dread relatives coming to visit because of all that cleaning. The last time my DB came to town he stayed in the city so his wife could gamble and party at night instead of staying with the old (and happy) folks at home which got me out of having to go through a strange elaborate process. When I think about--Who cares. Are they coming to visit me or my clean house LOL.

Affirmation: Today I will accomplish many things and strike them off my to-do list! Fitness: exercise will happen as I clean Health: I will make healthy choices Spiritual: Cleanliness is next to godliness - wonder if it is next to goddess-li-ness or of goddesses care? Gratitude: Being able TO clean if/when I need to
The sun is shining SO I have no reason NOT to dust and sweep and mop today...right? Argh...I don't want to be like my mother and not be ready for my daughter to arrive. Remember visiting her one time and having to put new linens on the bed after a LONG trip...and having my daughter there so having to make up two bedrooms. Nope...will at least get HER room ready before Monday The good thing is that most of the books I need to read before she arrives are read and reviewed so any reading time from here on will be to get ahead.
MICHELLE: I did a search on Paws 4 Love Reno Clair and found you and her together...gorgeous black lab and all dolled up - well - both of you! You both look so happy to be there and doing what you do!

Affirmation: I relax and enjoy the day. Spiritual: Trusting that Universe will deliver. Physical:8,826 Steps Gratitude: Convenient news!
The sun was shining here also and I appreciated it! Well the universe delivered on one of my requests which I thought was interesting. It's fun to believe. This morning I worked on my five goal areas to turn the wording into something meaningful at a spiritual level. I have been an extreme goal setter for years primarily in regard to our business. Over the years the goals turned into not much fun--just a lot of work so I have been shying away from setting them the last few years. Anyway I think I am onto something. I even refuse to call the five areas goals and only am doing so here so that it is understandable. I like the idea of being in the zone spiritually.
Thanks for your kind comments about Clair. I bought her sister an ugly looking orange rubber pig that makes kind of quiet oinks to replace her rubber chickens that have been driving me up the wall with the loud squeaking. Clair got very jealous of Buttercup's new toy and acted just like a small child about it. It was so cute to see her chasing after Buttercup to get the toy when in reality she could care less about those types of toys.

Affirmation: Today will be productive Fitness: I will exercise by cleaning and getting ready for my daughter's arrival Health: I will make healthy choices Spiritual: Sunshine puts a smile on my face Gratitude: Sunshine on cleaning days - mopped floors dry faster
Today I will focus on laundry and getting the guest bedroom ready for my daughter's arrival Monday night. We might buy some groceries and produce later today or perhaps tomorrow. It was my son and daughter-in-law's 11th wedding anniversary and I forgot till I saw she had posted it on Facebook SO found an image that was appropriate and sent it via email this morning to both of them with a copy to my husband. Tuesday morning this time I will be sipping coffee with my daughter. Do wish we lived closer to our children!
MICHELLE: I am so happy that one of the areas you are focusing on came through. Having five areas at one time might boggle some minds but never the universe. I am glad your belief has manifested in what you were hoping for!
Clair and Buttercup...squeaky toys...noice...do you have ear plugs

Affirmation: Science of Mind is fun! I attract sunny dispositions. Physical: 6,054 Steps Spiritual: Cheerfulness Gratitude: Self knowledge Cathy, Now it's usual to email hubby's. My how times have changed. Personally I like progress and appreciate many of the innovations. Rainy day today. I went to the dog obedience club to be part of the group putting on the "Temperment Testing". My job was to sit there and open an umbrella in the face of each dog, then drive a baby stroller in a circle around them and finally wave a flag. The umbrella was quite far from the dogs but a couple of them failed over their reaction. I hadn't been to the dog club in many months since Clair and I have been concentrating on her area of expertise. I was able to turn over my job to another club member so I came home. Hooray! I would have not been able to pass that test since I would jump at loud noises, refuse to walk over questionable surfaces, get mad about rude people opening umbrellas without warning in my face, be frightened of weird acting strangers. I think the smart dogs are the ones that fail. Not too sure about a dog that doesn't react to all of that.
I hope you got your cleaning done today!

Affirmation: Today will be a good day Fitness: more cleaning... Health: healthy food choices in moderation Spiritual: cool rainy days nourish the soil and make me calm Gratitude: airplanes that bring daughter to visit and antibiotics that helped her get over strep
I did loads of laundry then took the vacuum upstairs, took the vacuum-like floor mopping machine upstairs (it is heavy and I carried it up with one hand dangling it behind my head...REALLY stretched my shoulder out but no pain - hooray). The linens and comforter are on the bed, furniture polished and chairs brushed. I even flipped the mattress. Today I might tackle the room next to her room where we sit at night and maybe my bedroom. Before she comes would like to vacuum if not mop the main floor. Thus...plenty of exercise!
My husband is dithering and worrying about how we will communicate with our daughter if "something goes wrong" and I can't tell him. I mean, I have not traveled in over five years and I figure my daughter will figure something out if she needs to. She is a world traveler and forty so???
I tried an egg this morning instead of beans and think I actually prefer the beans on toast over the egg on toast...weird!
MICHELLE: My sister's dog failed the support dog test last time her husband took her to be tested. I don't know what she failed on but my brother-in-law was ready to quit that with her and then had back surgery with multiple complications so now Piper is his support dog and cinde's pal and not going out and about to help others. she does wear her support vest when out with Gary since she helps him get up and move and maintain balance, etc. I would definitely fail if I had someone snapping things at me like an umbrella or whatever. I know that dogs are smart and if they were endangered hope they would fight back no matter what they had been told in a command! I agree the smart ones may be the ones that fail sometimes...maybe they do it on purpose?

Affirmation: I am blessed (my daughter arrives today) Fitness: Mental fitness is mine - glad physically I can do what needs to be done Health: I eat healthy foods Spiritual: I am blessed (the universe provides all I need and then some) Gratitude: My daughter arrives tonight and will be here till the 28th (I am blessed)
In case you hadn't noticed <hee hee> my daughter arrives tonight around 10:30...if the plane is on time. That means we will not get home till after midnight by the time she goes through customs and immigration and makes it out to us. Her room is nearly ready and the bed is ready. It will be wonderful having her home for awhile.
MICHELLE: It sounds like you had a productive fun-filled day doing doggie things. Doggie things are NEVER a waste of a day

Affirmation: Universe delivers! Spiritual: Pride Physical: 8,604 Steps Gratitude: Music Cathy, Great job getting so much done! Enjoy the time with your daughter!!! I managed to get all my Christmas decorations inside and out up today. This would be an amazing feat except for the fact that I converted to holiday minimalism a number of years ago. However I enjoy putting things out much more now that it is a simple chore. And it means so much more. I also resigned from being a stress mess when I converted. It's amazing what a culture can do to a sane person. My DM made me a pine cone Christmas tree that easily fits on my Kitchen counter and that is the family tree now. Fa La La.
My computers are going to the office tomorrow morning for a couple fof days to get worked on so I will be offline. I should get a lot done LOL

Affirmation: I am happy Fitness: Working on it Health: healthy choices are mine to make Spiritual: Sunshine through clouds is nice on cloudy days Gratitude: My daughter made it here safely and the roads were clear and trouble-free
I don't seem to worry like my husband does. I knew the trip to the airport would be fine though hubby worried and stewed about rain, demonstrations and I don't know what else. The roads were clear, the rain flooded tunnels had no water in them and we made it there and back easily. I did trip over the suitcase that stopped without notice and went splat but a kind man stopped to help me and my daughter and husband were there and all was fine. I do have a scrape but the bruise is not much at all.
My daughter brought me fun tops and pajamas and a summer robe along with some vitamins, allergy medicine and Ranch dressing mix. I stayed up till 3am so it will be an early night tonight unless we take naps today.
MICHELLE: I have an old advent calendar Christmas tree out and that might be all I do this year. If my daughter wants to put a tree up it will probably be the little one and not the big one. I admire your streamlining of the decorating! Enjoy your time offline!
