Ann We did get a light front. Our low was 62 and our high is supposed to be in the low 70's I think. It will be short lived as we are in for the 90's this weekend. We did get 1 3/4" rain last night.
Cathy Google maps can get you to places you didn't want to go.LOL.Enjoy your time with friends today.
Susi Scooter doesn't shake but she whines and follows us around everywhere we go.Poor Charlie shaking in the shower.Good luck at WI.Your meals sound wonderful as usual.
Bee We are still in severe drought status but the rain last night helped. We are still in a burn ban.I will be willing and aware with you.
Ann We have had a brisk north wind and it's still cloudy. No walking outside for me even if the knees would allow it.
MJ I guess if you didn't have to stay there while the cleaners are there it wouldn't be so bad waiting the extra half hour.
Audrey I hope you enjoy Town Hall.
LaDonna yes the rain last night and cooler temps for 2-3 days will be nice.Highs in the 70's will only last today however.I hope work isn't too hectic with the auditors being there.

MissMouse and I are going to have to re-visit this cleaner thing which, after the summer off, she would like to have on an every-other-week schedule. If they come "between 8 and 8:30" I'm there anyway for MHMR and only need to stay perhaps an hour more so I settle in with an extra mug of coffee and my knitting. This morning was ridiculous: 7:45 AM (for MHMR) to noon. By the time we left, neither Toots nor I were in the mood for what we'd planned to get done. Can we shift it to tomorrow? Yes. But I'm flexible enough when it comes to the DGKids. For vacuum cleaner day? Not so much.

Hi girls. Back from all the running around. Carl had a doctor appointment today. He needs an ultra sound on a hernia repair that he had about 15 years ago. Not sure what will be up with that. He goes next week and will meet with a surgeon a few days later. Always something. My OBGYN exam is tomorrow. I'll be glad when it's all one and done. I had a nice healthy meal planned for supper...but we got waylaid and hungry so stopped off at our local Chinese haunt for supper. I'll be hitting reset once again. LaDonna yeah to another KOKO day for you. Sorry you are tired in the evening. Happy you finally got some rain. We are also in for rain starting later tonight and into tomorrow. Audrey enjoy that discussion. Sounds interesting. MJ sorry the cleaners were later than usual.
Becky happy you got some relief from the hot temps and also some well needed rain.
Well, I'm going to sit and relax for a bit. Waving to all that I missed.

My ready and willing glasses are in place. Meals are planned and will be tracked as I hydrate and move. Have a good day everyone. Iโm smiling as I continue toward blue.

Hi again MJ, my cleaning people are never late and we are first every Thursday. That is taking advantage of your time to sit there so long. Cathy, those Google map shortcuts are always deceiving. Sounds like fun trips both days. Susi, great menus as always Becky, Lily Belle is scared of all loud noises. Our temperature dropped like yours but without the rain Ann, I hope everything is ok for Carlโs ultrasound test. La Donna, I may have read the book several years ago but blue zones are where people eat more plant based, walk more, have some type of religious faith, have at least three friends and continue to be active. The friends are to prevent loneliness and have someone to listen. In the USA there is one in Loma Linda, CA with a large Seventh Day Adventist population.

Okay, Doc said, eye is much better.
I told him I wanted to cancel the appointment with the cornea specialist, as I want no more surgery right now. He said I could make my own choices. He wanted me to go so I wouldn't be using gel drops for a long time. I told him that was better than the medicinal contact and antibiotic drops forever. He shrugged.
I don't have to go back for 2 months.
The new drops, cutting back on computer use and making my screen black and white has helped tremendously.

Bee glad to hear that you are nursing your eye the way you want to. You remain in my prayers.
Thanks for the prayers for Carl, Audrey. Luigi didn't like loud noise. That doesn't faze LuLa.
