What do you love about the PointsPlus plan? It is the plan that fits my lifestyle. I can eat the foods I like and am used to, enjoy the occasional dessert splurge without breaking the point bank and have a glass of wine now and then. It's livable. lavonm , can you use stevia, which is plant-based? I don't care for Truvia and most of the other brands have a very nasty after-taste, but I do like and use NuStevia by NuNaturals. Usually, 1/2 - 1 pkt. is enough for a bowl of cereal or a mug of coffee. It also comes in liquid. Once I tried it and liked it, I started buying the 1000 pkt. bag every 8-9 months. I totally agree with your assessment about PP It's livable for my lifestyle. Unfortunately I can't use stevia either. I tried all the substitutes (including Monkfruit) after my body started causing problems. It's annoying but I'm working around it. Starting PP again feels new because I can't go back to my old favorites so it might be a good thing. I feel motivated again.

Your library might have Ellie's new book. It's called Whole in One. The pork tenderloin has a herb garlic rub & was very tasty. I'd definitely make it again. I loved the squash but the sprouts were a little too brown so I'll have to adjust the timing for my oven. Thanks for the idea to check out the library. I have lived in my town for 17 years and have visited the library, which is walking distance from my house, twice. I really need to take a walk there one of these days, now I have a reason to sign up to become a member.

My library system is set up so that I can order books from all the regional libraries. That really expands your options if you have the same option. Be sure to ask. I always check out new cookbooks at the library to see if they're worth buying. So far, I have a nice list of recipes I like in Ellie's new book. I'm going to try a few more but I think it'll be added to my collection.

Hello!ππ from a Former WWer. HW 204.5 SW 197.4, Sept 2011. (Aimed for a GW of 155) LW 159.4 Dec 2012. Derailed. Bigtime. Despite 360 and Beyond the Scale, the numbers crept up. Freestyle was the final straw. Left WW in 2018, bouncing around 190ish.
Dug out my old Points Plus materials, and went back to paper tracking. Recently found ITB (Carb Conscious). Paper tracking first, to pre-plan the menus.
CW 179.4. Numbers finally heading in the right direction again. Carbmonster still wants to drive the bus from time to time, though.
Found this forum by chance, while prowling around for 2020 plan news. Was tickled pink to find Points Plus represented here! And have to admit, the Virtual Meeting thread has driven me out of lurkdom.
No particular fave βon planβ foods at the moment. (That may be a good thing, though!π) Just working to get to goal.
Looking forward to success...for all of us!
Many thanks! ::waves and runs over to the Virtual Meeting thread::

Hi PP Peeps! I was very successful on PP and decided to stay with that when I gained again, because PP is the only program where I didn't feel like I was losing anything in terms of what I could eat. AND, more importantly, the 0PP for fruit helped me start eating fruit again daily. I am on the Beck forum area and I don't think I can keep up with this crew daily, but I'll happily check in from time to time. Points Plus rocks, if it aint broke don't fix it! (I'm looking at YOU, WW...)
