That crystal ball I mentioned in my post above is telling me that the JA is about to have a very bad day. LOL! One that he most certainly deserves. Brace yourselves for some very nasty tweeting, and no predicting what else as he's unhinged and viciously vindictive enough for anything. As for me, I plan to be watching. I won't say enjoying, because it's not something enjoyable. It's horrible that we have such a unprincipled, thug in the White House, but I'm happy to see the Constitution being upheld at least by one party in Congress. I don't expect anything but obstruction and panic from the other party. I can still remember when both parties could fight hard for platforms, and yet still be a united front in protecting the country. When there was real patriotism maybe not on the part of everyone in Congress, but definitely with most members. I hope those days are not gone forever. I'm not sure how they slipped away.

Admittedly I'm laughing at how hard the gop is trying to deflect. "remember when Obama.." "remember when Clinton.." "remember when George Washington.."
lol -so much "look there, not here!" going on.

I watched Taylor's opening statement in its entirety. IMO case closed. I don't even need to see anything else.

You know, I think most people who have bothered to tune in to this hearing, will just end up throwing their hands in the air & think â politics as usualâ & just tune out. I have no faith these hearings are going to change anyoneâs mind. The Republicans are just too darn good at deflecting, lying & twisting facts! Whatâs even worse, too many Americans have fallen for all this of protecting JA at all cost.

Whatâs even worse, too many Americans have fallen for all this of protecting JA at all cost. I'm afraid you are right. As for the JA's loyal base, they won't listen and wouldn't understand if they could (as you can see I don't have a very high opinion of their intelligence). As for most other people, they're not paying attention. So Republican voters will still primarily only hear what Fox tells them. I don't really blame the JA Kool-Aid drinkers because I don't think they're smart enough to understand, but the ones I truly blame are those Republicans in the House and in the Senate who will ultimately be voting. They DO understand. They understand and have evidently made the choice to just not care in order to continue to feather their own sorry nests. And even worse those on the committee have made the choice to actively try and flush the Republic down the toilet.

No matter what the result, I believe the impeachment had to go forward. There has been too much wrong doing to be ignored. And I am encouraged that there are people willing to come forward and do the right thing for the country, knowing they are going to face the ludicrous "questions" from the Republicans.

Of Course, we all know, that if the Democrats had not moved forward with the Impeachment Process, as the Constitution states is their job, and if something had gone terribly wrong because of JA stupidity & the country was endangered, etc, the Republicans would be the first to be pointing fingers at the Democrats, accusing them of not doing their job! Pure hypocrisy at its best!

All I hear is "so and so did this..." You know what? Just because "it's always been this way" doesn't mean it's right, or can't be changed for the better. Just because we can't change the past doesn't mean you can fix the future.

OMG! Did anyone see KAC interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN this morning. I know she is a snarky B, but this morning she really outdid herself. Very very insulting to Wolf & CNN. If I had been Wolf I would have walked off the set or cut her off at the knees. She was horrible & beyond snarky. Why in the world do CNN & others even give her a platform to spew her insulting hatred of everything & anything!!

@lka48, I have not seen it, but many were commenting on it over on the GDT. It must have been bad.

Why in the world do CNN & others even give her a platform to spew her insulting hatred of everything & anything!! I didn't see it only because when she first appeared I changed channels over to MSNBC because I just can't stand her. Like you, I don't understand why any of the stations give her any air time at all because you know she's just going to lie, lie, and then lie some more. She will say and/or do anything to stay in the JA's favor. We did learn one new thing yesterday, but in the long run I think it's going to be just as we have all expected from the start. Democrats in the House are going to vote to impeach, which at least will force the Senate to have a trial, but in the end nothing is going to change. I'm afraid that once he gets away with it this time, there is absolutely no telling what he will be emboldened to do next. Actually, there's no telling what he may have already done that we just don't know about yet. From what I've read this morning, all the sycophants over at Fox are reporting that it was a great day for tRump and the Republicans. Of course, nothing would prevent them from reporting it that way. And nothing is going to keep the Fox news Kool-Aid drinkers from believing it.

Donnie Jr. is bragging about his book being #1 on the NYTimes best seller list. The same NY Times he & daddy always call fake & failing. The Republican National Committee announced last week it was giving away signed copies to people who donated at least $50 to the group. They bought Jr's book in bulk to boost his sales...LOL...so, I guess, if Daddy orders The RNC to buy his son's book in mass, it would help get him to the top of the list.
