New plan rollout today. The app/tracking seems to be working ok so far.
I'm trying green because it's got the smallest number of zero point foods and fits the way I tend to eat more. Fats and nuts are still penalized, but they give you more points to fit them in.
B: coffee (1 w/1T heavy cream; 1 w/1oz almond milk) L: leftover ribeye (6oz); salad w/Kens northern light Italian dressing D: chicken breast w/sauteed onions, green chilies, 2% Mexican blend cheese; blistered cherry tomatoes and steamed yellow squash Snack: 8 pecan halves and a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese (may/may not want it) 30WW green points 1143 calories; 28g carbs; 71g fat; 119g protein

Hey everyone! DotRen, If I were picking one of the new programs, I'd pick green. Good choice! And your dinner sounds delicious! I'll have to give it a try. cj59, Not junk food! lol j/k That was probably a fun little break from dieting. I think you can get back on track. I say have a cookie, candy, spoonful of ice cream with every meal and snack. Doesn't mean you have to do a whole line of Oreos (I've been there). Anyway, just want to cheer you on! And remind you that you can be on plan whenever you want to be. Good luck! sunrose49, I think it's great you're going to give WW a try. Which plan are you leaning towards? Tracking is the key to everything, in my opinion, so that is a great goal. I'm doing really well this week. I'm a little disappointed that the scale didn't budge, but it didn't go up either, so that's a win. My dog Rexi has been stressing me out. He's 14 yo and decided to stop eating on us. We took him in and he had a high fever so they gave us some antibiotics. He took them at first but then you couldn't get him to swallow anything, so we took him back in, did blood work, and it turned out to be his pancreas, which could just have been out of whack because of his age or because he has cancer. We don't know yet. Anyway, the good news was he finally started eating again! We were feeding him baby food through a syringe, then last night he ate and actually wanted to be around us instead of just sleeping in his bed, so we're hoping this is a sign of good things to come. I mean he is old, so if it's his time, he can go. But starving to death isn't going to be how he does it. Not on my watch. Sad doggy news aside, life is good! I hope everyone is having a great week and doing well on their plans! (Or their new plans, hooray WW reveal week!)

Hi all. Scott said he was going to McDonald to get a quarter pounder and another one for an extra dollar. He asked me if I wanted the same deal.i should not have but I had 2 cheese quarter pounders and felt awful. I tracked them and used most of the weeklies Tomorrow I am starting over I tracked tomorrow's food in green 30 points and 1274 calories. I am going to have a big breakfast with oatmeal and scranbled eggs. I have soup progressive I got for 2 points from the store. I will have 2 potatoes tomorrow. 1/2 cup of pumpkin. 3 1/2 cups of fruit.. Some olive oil some in in the pan with my eggs. .splenda for oatmeal and pumpkin. 30 points 1274 calories. I am doing green. More of a challenge and be accountable. On purple too easy to add a third potato.

Good morning cj, hope you are doing good after buying junk food. It's hard I know! dotren, I chose the green plan too. irissinia, sorry to hear about your pup. I use pill pockets to get Maddie to take her pills. I hope he is doing better. Amy, good for you tracking the 1/4 pounder and moving on!! I am trying to work the Green plan. I need more accountability and can actually have more foods that I like instead of a list of stuff I don't really eat. I do have to go back to counting eggs and chicken though But get more daily points to cover them. On Monday I counted everything and went 54 points in the hole. I am out of weeklies too Right now I want to focus more on tracking until it becomes a habit again.

sunrose49 , I'm liking green right now because I can fit in olive oil, avocado, etc. IMO it's easiest low-carb because I'm not using points on grains and starchy veggies, if that makes sense. I'm trying not to use any rollover points, I know last time I tried WW that got me into trouble on weekends lol. Good morning! B: coffee (1 w/cream, 1 w/almond milk) L: chaffle grilled turkey and cheese w/chicken broth D: lean pork chop (6oz) and fried cabbage (1T olive oil, 2 cups shredded cabbage) Snack: either hard boiled egg w/a little mayo or pimento cheese(2T for 3 points) and celery 24 points on the Green plan Editing to add: I have been giving Aldi's a chance and I really like their cheeses and 93% lean ground turkey. I ran across this: fit & active cranberry flavored water and I have to admit, I may be hooked. I love cranberry, but diet ocean spray tastes really watery and fake to me. This one tastes like actual cranberry juice (even though it's just 5 calories per serving and has no juice in it). If you haven't tried it, it might be seasonal so I'm going to stock up lol.

Hi everyone!
The new plans sound exciting. I think if I was doing one, I would pick the green. But that being said, the current points formula is not something which I can get behind because it still feels very punitive.
I'm still struggling with how I feel about everything weight loss related. I come here from time to time to see how you guys are doing (I miss you guys!), but posting everyday or all the time is rough on me; it makes me feel worse when I'm not doing as well as I would like - like I'm chasing something which is unattainable and am failing.
I'm trying to sort it all out while kinda, sorta following Momentum on itrackbites (just since Sunday). I still give myself lots of extra points, because I don't want to feel too restricted. I'm trying to pay attention to the GHGs to make sure that I'm getting a somewhat balanced diet. I do find that doing this has helped my digestive system. Eating lots of treats seems to wreak havoc on me. It also helps me eat more throughout the day and less at night, both of which are struggles for me.
I am trying not to focus on the scale or on how far over my points I'm going - just trying to make good choices and stick reasonably within my parameters (35 pts per day plus weeklies). This works out to about 2000 cal per day, which I think is reasonable for me for now. I want to see how it feels to do this for a bit and what happens to the scale when I do. Then I'll re-evaluate. I'm hoping to re-evaluate in the new year, if I'm able to keep plugging along like this until then.
I have a dr appt coming up next week and I'm dreading it for all kinds of reasons. I do not want to get on that scale and I find that I tend to avoid my doctor because I feel that most issues I have could be resolved by taking better care of myself and I don't want that lecture.
I'll try to report back on how it goes!

Good morning
wwlurker, so good to see you. I can relate to how you feel. I hope you keep checking in though when you can. I always feel like a broken record with my journey and so glad you all do not judge me (or other boards I participate with).
dotren, I am liking the green so far, but still lacking with the honest journaling. I will keep trying though.
Waving to all
I plan to walk on the TM this morning. I am taking Maddie to get groomed this morning and while she is getting pretty I will walk around Walmart.

What you said here is exactly how I'm feeling right now, so I completely understand. Good luck with what you are doing right now, I hope it works for you

Hello Everyone I'm glad to hear everyone is doing pretty well. I'm always wishing you the best in your lives and on your plans I haven't been "feeling" weight loss at all right now, so that's why I haven't posted much. I sure hope to get myself committed to losing weight again. It's really so easy to do nothing and so much work to do the right thing even though it's better for you. I guess I still wish there was that magic program out there, but I know there isn't Hope you all have a great weekend!

Good morning
cj, hang in there. It is a constant challenge to lose weight (well for me it is).
I got my books this morning at WW. I think I mentioned that I chosen the green plan. That means I get 30 daily points and 35 weekly points. I have a list of free food which consists of f/v only (and only non starchy v). It feels like one of the old programs I liked. I like having more points daily.
I need to work on my waters/exercise for sure.
Waving to all

Happy Sunday to all. Hope everyone is doing okay.

Being preoccupied with JD being sick. He came home feeling bad Wednesday, then ended up with a fever and chills. I made him go to the doctor Friday and he has an ear and upper respiratory infection. Augmnentin and cough prescription. He's feeling a little better today, finally.
Anyway, quick HI to everyone. Staying pretty well on plan, but the pizza commercials are getting to me lol.

Hi! I am new here and had my first weigh in this morning at home. I'm doing online at the moment. We'll see how that goes for me. I weighed in at 249.7. My all time high! I'm just under 5'4". I'd like to get down to 150 so I have quite a ways to go! I'm a stress eater. Since I lost my daughter almost 5 years ago I have put on almost 60 pounds. It's been so hard. But I have to do this! I am 65 and have heart issues in my family. I don't want to be next. So here I go!

Hello Everyone - Hope you are all having a good day sunrose - I hope you enjoy the green plan, please let us know how it goes. I admire you for pursuing different types of exercise, hope you can have success with them and drinking your water. It's funny because the water and exercise are the things I don't have as much trouble with - we're opposites DotRen - Hope JD continues to feel better, he's lucky to have you to take care of him Don't get me started on pizza commercials - pizza is my favorite food in the whole world, I could eat it every day Lissakp54 - Welcome to the thread. You will find some very wonderful and supportive people here - I know they help me every day I'm so sorry to hear about your loss and I can certainly understand gaining weight after dealing with something like that. I'm an emotional eater too and it's a really tough thing to overcome - but we can do it! I also have family that had weight related health issues and many died young, I wish that would motivate me more to take care of myself. Sometimes it does, but other times not. At least there are plenty of good weight loss plans for us and having these message boards for support help to. Hope everyone else checking in is doing well too I'm starting to reach that point where I know I have to get myself back on track, so I'm happy about that. I just have to decide what plan I want to do. I'm thinking I need to do something different like Points Plus or the WW Green plan, but I wonder if I should try Momentum again. I should do the double tracking like I said I was going to do. I need to stop being all talk and no action
