Lissakp54, welcome. I can't imagine your heartache I think WW did a great service by offering different plan options. I know we cross posted in the "which plan did you choose" thread, and I really like the green. cj59, green is really a good close 2nd to points plus and momentum, IMO. I have a couple of old momentum cookbooks and the recipes would fit nicely into green. sunrose49, amyrs, irisinnia, wwlurker, hello~

Good morning
Lissakp54, welcome to the group! Lots of support here. I'm so sorry for your loss, that's a hard one. My story is a bit like yours. I have gained about 70 pounds after several heartaches since 2006. Heart issues also run in my family. I have some myself and if I lost weight it would greatly help.
dotren, sorry jd has been sick. I hope he is feeling better.
cj, I really like the green plan. I haven't lost weight since I just started it, but it is making me more mindful. Sorry for your loss of family members. I hope to make the click soon. Hang in there I know we can do this.
Was not the best last night, but did meet my step goal yesterday. Headed out for a walk now with Maddie.

Good morning!
Lissa, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Losing a child is a loss like no other.
Thanks everyone for the kind words. I feel like such a flake sometimes and I struggle so much with my thinking. It helps to know I'm not alone.
My dr cancelled my appointment. I'm not too pleased because it took a lot to get me to make it in the first place - at his request too. It's been rescheduled.
Last week I went a bit over but I'm trying not to worry about it. I am on day 3 and I have 15 wps left, which I want to mostly save for Friday.
I do think my allotted points (that I give myself) are reasonable and are working for me. I am working on nighttime eating this week.
Hope everyone is doing well and has a great week!

Thank you all for the condolences on the loss of my daughter. It has been a rough 4 and a half years. My weight has sky rocketed during this time as I am a stress eater, especially at night.
I've been OP for 2 days now and so far I love it. I'm on the BLUE plan and like it so far. No problems with it yet. Curious about the GREEN plan. May switch to it if this plan isn't good for me.
For now I have set my goal at 200 pounds. My starting weight was 249.7. I'll change my goal as I move along on this journey. It's so important that I do this for my health. Heart problems run in my family. I don't have any indications of that yet but I carry all my of weight around my belly and I know that's bad. I really need to change that. I also have bad arthritis in my knees and neuropathy in my feet. The extra weight certainly doesn't help with those conditions! SO, here I am!
I've done WW many times before and have always done well on it. I just always stop going for one reason or another and gain the weight back and then some. This time I have got to stick with it and lose and keep it off or I am doomed! I need to succeed this time!
I hope everyone has a wonderful day! I may try to clean some of the clutter out of my bedroom, maybe not! LOL

Hi everyone!
Yesterday went well, except that I didn't eat as much as I should have during the day, which is a constant issue for me. Because of that, I probably ate a little more than I should have at night, but I stayed within my DPs, so I still have 15 WPs left, which excites me.
My food for today is much better planned in terms of spacing it out, so I'm hoping that helps.
I'm feeling pretty good, all things considered. I feel like I'm in a good frame of mind right now.
Hope everyone is doing well!

Good morning
Lissakp, so glad you have joined us. I made LT in 1991. Since that time I have gained, lost, gained and lost all over again. So I can relate (as probably all of us can). I am on the green plan and so far I like it.
wwlurker, that's great you are feeling better. Bummer about the doctor. I probably eat most of my points at night.
Waving to all
I went to jazzercise yesterday and decided to stick with it. I have fun when I go, the ladies are great and it gets me out of the house and off the couch.
I go Saturday mornings to my WW meeting. Need to be good the next couple days to have a loss.

Good morning everyone!
Wow! I was just looking at how many posts everyone has and I have a measly 27! LOL I'll never catch up! Hahaha
I have stayed on track 3 days in a row now. Yay me! Doing BLUE and finding it's a really good fit for me so far. We'll see when I get back on the scale on Sunday morning!
Going to my 4 year old great granddaughter's Thanksgiving play this morning. Should be fun!
Already feel like I need a nap!
Have a great day!

Hello everyone! sunrose49, it's so important to find activity you like. I'm having a tough time working exercise into my schedule right now. I know that I need to figure something out, but for now, I feel like I need to focus on what I can do - like eating regularly and returning treats to their usual "once in a while" place instead of every night. I need some small victories before I start to tackle the harder stuff. Lissakp54, I feel the same way re the posts. I have come to accept that I'll never be a prolific poster. I spend a lot of time reading threads, but rarely feel the need to chime in. I've stayed within my DPs for two days in a row so far, and I'm pleasantly surprised that I don't feel too restricted in doing so. I'm aiming to keep it up until Friday, so that I can have some treats with my family Friday night. I'm the worst at staying off the scale and so I've been weighing everyday. I wish I was better at not doing so. It's all good as long as the number keeps going down, but those little bumps upward really throw me off. I also get discouraged when the # on my official Saturday mornings is higher than it was during the week. Today I noticed that the dress I'm wearing seems to be more flattering than it has been. I find that my torso is the first place I see a difference and this morning I could definitely see and feel a difference in my body. Hope everyone is doing well!

I have not followed any plan for 2 weeks and I am sure Saturday it will show with a big gain. I did not go last Saturday. I am counting calories now starting today and also vegan. I have a plan now that will help me with my food budget. My plan uses 1412 calories. I hurt my leg so I want to start WATP but out of shape too.

Good morning
Lissa, glad the blue is working good for you so far. When I go away get get so far behind on posts I usually just start reading the most current stuff and move on. Sometimes too much to catch up on.
wwlurker, it is hard fitting exercise in sometimes and I like how you are focusing on certain things for now.
Amy, plans are important so good job having one.
Waving to all
Going to jazzercise this morning. I am retired so have no excuse to not do it. I have had my breakfast and tracked it. Saw a new number on the scale and did not like it one bit. WWlurker, I weigh every day too. Such a habit. I'm really not convenienced one way or the other what is good/bad to do. I have to admit I was pissed this morning seeing the number and hope that will shake me up to do better.

amyrs , I'm sorry you hurt your leg Lissakp54 , I came here last June after lowcarbfriends closed down (after 19 years ) and it's a great place to talk wwlurker , yeah for non scale victories like clothes fitting better Very motivational. sunrose49, have fun at jazzercise. I thought about that when I was watching this seasons American Horror Story because it went back to 1984 when jazzercize was in its prime lol. They even had a snip of it in the opening sequence, spandex leotards and all JD is feeling better. He still has 4 days of antibiotics to take, but the cough finally went completely away. I'm going to wrestle a turkey later and try to cut it into parts so I can roast the breast and boil the rest for broth and soup. I was going to boil it for Murray's food that I make, but it has so much added "solution" with salt and stuff, I'm hesitant to use it for that. I may try to make room in my freezer for 2-3 of them since they're so cheap right now (this one is 15 pounds and I think it was around $6 at Kroger last week). Hope everyone has a great day

Well, good morning all! Looks like I'm the first one here! Happy Friday. Even though I've been retired for almost 5 years I sill get excited for the weekends! LOL
I caved yesterday and took my scale out and jumped on. Sunday is my WI day. Anyway, I was down 2 pounds! That gave me so much inspiration! I needed to know that BLUE is working for me and that I am doing it right. I've stayed OP the whole time so far. This is my first week. Such a huge change from how I was eating but I don't feel I'm not getting enough at all! I feel healthier! Loving the change!
Be back later!

Hello Everyone Lissakp54 - Congratulations on the weight loss, I hope that your WI on Sunday goes well too. I'm glad you are liking the Blue program and you've been staying on track. Finding a plan we like is a big part of our success IMO. DotRen - I'm glad JD is feeling better. I hope your soup turns out. I've never made a soup that way but have always wanted too. My soups start with canned chicken broth sunrose - I'm glad you are enjoying Jazzercise. I hope the number on the scale will motivate you. amyrs - Sorry to hear you got a bit off track, but I'm glad you have a plan that you can work on now. wwlurker - I'm happy for you that your clothes are fitting better, that is a good feeling. Hope this week went well for you so you can enjoy some treats with your family tonight. I'm been doing so-so. I've been meeting most of my 100 Day Challenge goals each day, but still eating too much junk food. And I'm still waiting for something to click into place, hopefully soon Hope everyone has a great weekend!
