sunrose49, Thanks for the welcome! Good to be back!
DH wanted to go out for lunch for fish. I don't like fish at all so I had a salad from the salad bar. All zero point stuff including some chicken. Brought my own pre-measured dressing. So lunch was very good and OP! Success!
I ordered some backless Skechers from Amazon. They came today and I am loving them! I have a very hard time with shoes because of my neuropathy. I've been wearing sandals but it's getting pretty cold out. Needed something warmer. These are perfect! Finally, shoes that work for me!
Just ran to the store to stock up on zero point fruits and such. I was out and that really makes me nervous. Bought red and green grapes, melon, watermelon and bananas. That should hold me over for a bit. I feel much better now just having them in the house!
Time to catch Dr Phil! Take care!

Hello everyone! So exciting to see all the people working hard with "a lot to lose"! Sorry I haven't been posting but I've been lurking. My 14 yo little dog is still not doing well, and needs a lot more time because he needs help eating and going to the restroom. It's almost like having a new baby (except you can leave him at home for errands lol). Anyway, dieting has been hit and a miss lately. I've been mindful of portions and trying to cook most of the time, but lots of events are occurring where we just need something quick before, and other events where there is food. I'd really love to make some progress on these three categories: (1) Meal planning/tracking - so that I have a plan for busy days and events (2) Exercise - it's the most proactive thing you can do while losing weight (3) Mindset - I want to feel mentally more confident about what I'm doing. Hopefully I can work on some of that this weekend.

I am starting tomorrow after a good WW meeting today. I did not have to pay since they input 250 as the WW goal which I was under. what is zero in purple is 9 points in green. so I tracked in green for tomorrow. nonfat cottage cheese must have sugar in it to be so many smart points for 3 cups (6 servings throughout the day each 1/2 cup mixed with 1/2 cup of zero fruit. ) Leaving me with 21 points. The UW Badgers won today. They play Minnesota next Saturday for whoever wins wins the west division in the big ten .The winner plays the east division which isis undefeated Ohio State in the Big 10 championship game. I tried inputting tools but I could not. I will call WW Monday and ask for their help. I have 1 container of cottage cheese-3 cups for tomorrow. I expect 6 more containers be delivered tomorrow morning. I have plenty fruit in cans of no added sugar in water to mix with the cottage cheese. This is good for my budget. I do not eat meat poultry or fish. But I do eat dairy. A container helps with calcium. 60 percent calcium needs. 84 grams of protein. no fat.

Good morning friends!
Had a very good sleep last night! Went to bed after midnight and woke up at 8 this morning. Good night for me!
Lot's to do today! DGD put the Christmas tree up last night. Must fluff and decorate today. Yay for Christmas! My favorite holiday! After I lost my daughter Angela I thought I'd never want another Christmas but with my great granddaughter (Angela's granddaughter) here I just love it again. I do miss my daughter fiercely though. It is very hard for me not to shop for her or think of her. Little ones seem to bring out the joy in everything again!
Weighed in this morning. I'm an onliner so I weigh in at home. I'm down 2.1 pounds. I'm happy with that. On the BLUE plan. Loving it so far!
Have a great day!

Hello Everyone
Lissakp54 - Congratulations on the loss and I'm glad you are loving your plan. I'm happy that you have your DGD to share Christmas with, I agree that the little ones make the holidays more joyful.
amrys - I'm glad you had a good meeting and that you enjoy watching your football teams, it's always great to have interests/hobbies like that.
irisinnia - I wish you the best with making progress on those things you want to work on. Identifying them is half the battle Sorry to hear your dog is still not doing well.
wwlurker, DotRen and sunrose - Hope you are having a good weekend.
I'm still trying to figure out what plan I want to follow, but in the meantime I'm trying to make sure to get in some fruits, vegetables and dairy each day. I also get in my steps (on my Fitbit) and water. So at least I'm doing something healthy
I'm going to have a cup of tea now and fortunately I broke myself of my habit of adding sugar to it. I do use some Equal in it. It's best if I don't have any sugar in the house because I will use it, so I try not to buy it.
Hope anyone else checking in is doing well on their plan.
Have a great day!

Hey everyone! sunrose49 , Good to see you! Have fun at jazzercise. cj59 , I'm dying to know which plan you end up going with. Awesome work on some of those GHG's! Lissakp54 , What a great loss this week! I'm so glad you found a plan you like. Enjoy the holidays with that little one! amyrs , Glad to hear that you're enjoying your WW meetings. Are you vegetarian or do you not eat meat because of a health issue? Weekends with DH and the kids make me tired. I'm so much less active than the three of them. I'm looking forward to having some quiet time to work on myself, as well as things around the house. I exercised yesterday, so that's an NSV.

Hello everyone! I lost 3 lbs last week, so I was pleased with that. I went over my allotted points, but not by too much. This week hasn't been off to a good start. I wasn't really tracking all weekend. It was a very busy weekend with cleaning and taking kids to functions (three kids, with several extracurricular activities each, plus birthday parties, etc., make for a lot of driving right now). I tried to capture most of my weekend eating today, but I'm sure I missed lots and my estimates are likely off. That being said, I'm not in the red yet. I want to stick to my DPs until Friday, as I have an event. I can't be going off plan every weekend, so I'll have to figure something out for that. cj59, you seem to know what works for you, which is good! amyrs, I do not eat fish, meat or poultry either. I do eat dairy and eggs, though. irisinnia, you are doing great things on the PP board. I lurk there and would love to join in from time to time. I don't follow PP though. sunrose49, have fun at jazzercise!

irisinnia, weekends with my husband and son tire me out, too lol. Some weekends I wonder how they make it through the week without me to do everything for them! cj59, I'm enjoying green, though I'm having to add a snack on many days to get within 10 points (and tracking on MFP to get over 1000 calories) since I don't usually have starches or grains. I like the WW site(not phone app -that one sucks) but I wish they had a recipe import option like MFP has so you don't have to enter every ingredient individually. I'm lazy that way lol. Lissakp54, it's wonderful that you can enjoy the holidays this year with your great granddaughter. amyrs, sunrose49, wwlurker *waves* We waffle decorating for Christmas between Thanksgiving weekend and Dec 16th. My husbands birthday is the 15th and, growing up, his family always waited until the 16th so his birthday wasn't lost in the Christmas celebrating. When we decorate now depends on how moody he gets about it. Honestly, anymore waiting until the 16th, I'd almost rather just not decorate at all, know what I mean?

DotRen,
Thanks Rene! Having my 4 year old great granddaughter here certainly does make the Holidays a lot easier as I can focus on her! And her age makes it do much fun!
Think I'm going to lay down and have a bit of a nap, was up very early! Chat later!

Hi everyone!
Hope you all are doing well.
I am slowly getting back on track making healthier choices after a weekend of overindulging. Last night I did fairly well. I find it helps so much just to be mindful of what I'm doing. Otherwise, I would just eat the odd thing here and there and it all adds up so quickly.
I am in the red a little for the week, which is discouraging because I have an event on Friday night. But I'm trying not to throw in the towel because I know that when I'm over, I need to just track it as best I can and move on. Every eating time is a new opportunity to make good choices. I'm trying not to think of the week or even single days or meals as a reason to write off the day, week, etc.
