Happy Thanksgiving everyone I have to laugh about Murray and how he can tell time. I woke up at 4:40 this morning and let him out (since I was up anyway). Got coffee and sat down to review some recipes. At exactly 6am, I hear him padding in - breakfast time. It doesn't matter what day of the week, if JD and Ron are home or not, he knows when it's 6am (breakfast) and 4pm (supper). I know "experts" say it's a natural circadian rhythm but it's exact, on the minute -so I think he can look at the clock and see that it's time lol.

Hi everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving to those celebrating (we Canadians celebrated last month).
Hope you're all doing well and enjoy your special day.
I am still plugging along this week, but it hasn't been a stellar week for me. Yesterday I went to lunch and I made what I thought was a decent choice, but it was ridiculously high in points, which put me way over for the week (I was 9 over for the week, now I'm 29!). I'm pretty disappointed in this, but I know better for next time. I'm trying to think of this as a marathon, not a sprint. The worst part is that it didn't sit well with me and I ended up going home from work early! No wonder - it was over 1200 calories and over 60 grams of fat! I couldn't believe it.

wwlurker, I know it shocks me how high in calories a lot of restaurant salads are.

Good morning
wwlurker, wow sorry you got sick from the food. That was a lot of fat. Hope you are feeling better. Happy belated Thanksgiving to you.
cj, Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
dotren, I know some salads can be pretty bad for you.
Waving to all
Off to walk Maddie. I was not the best yesterday, but it was not a total bust either. Lots of water today ;-)

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! Ours was unreal. We live in a part of Southern California where it used to snow every year - we've lived here since the 1980's - but because of climate change it hasn't snowed in the last 6 years. So our children who are 6 and 4 have never seen snow at our house. Well, it snowed. On Thanksgiving. 5 inches. I think it was 83 degrees on Thanksgiving last year. lol The kids had so much fun and the dogs did too. I can't believe that my dogs are 14 and 11 and haven't seen snow since they were 8 and 5! It was the kittens first snow too! Luckily we had planned to stay home and just have a little Thanksgiving and I had made sure we had enough food to last the weekend because I don't like going out on Black Friday or that whole weekend (unless I'm getting something, that is ). So it was just a magical relaxing day. wwlurker, Restaurants are so tricky! I was against the printing calories thing at restaurants at first, thinking 'people know whether food is good or bad for them', but then I was at a restaurant we commonly go to and I ordered something I thought would be 'lighter'. Well, come to find out it had more calories than my usual order! I really try to check first now, either by looking on my tracker, on line, or reading at the store. sunrose49, So sweet! I'm so grateful for all of you too! Have fun on your walk with Maddie! DotRen, I think you're absolutely right. I think he can tell time. How cute! And salads are definitely scary things. I don't trust them. lol *Waves to everyone else* One holiday down, one to go, and 31 days/opportunities left this year to be on plan! Good luck everyone!

irisinnia, wonderful about the snow! I've lived on the Texas coast all my life, and I've seen snow 4 times. 2 flurries and 2 decent snowfalls The big one was in 2004 and we had over a foot of snow Christmas eve! Something no one was prepared for lol. But it was beautiful Christmas morning Dec 7th/8th 2017 we had about 4". sunrose49, wwlurker, cj59, Happy "stay home and avoid the craziness" day

Good morning
irisinnia, cool on the snow. How exciting for your kids :-)
dotren, I do stay home and avoid the crowds! I did a Black Friday shopping one time about 20 years ago. Never again...lol
Amy, it's hard this time of year to avoid the junk!
Waving to all
Went to my WW meeting this morning. It was a good one. I took some notes. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.
