Welcome! If you're new here, feel free to introduce yourself! - How are you feeling about the program right now? - What do you do to keep yourself motivated? - What is one thing you’re going to try this week to make the plan feel new/fresh? Meal of the Week: LunchWhat are you having for lunch? I'm feeling pretty good about the program right now. I used all my weeklies & still lost 1.1 pounds. I'm sure I'll have to cut back on the weeklies as time goes on but I'll wait until I hit a plateau. I'm trying new recipes this week to keep me motivated & the plan fresh. It helps that my planner sits out all the time as well. Lunch will be turkey & swiss on a Let's Skip the Sandwich wrap. I'll add fresh fruit or raw veggies. The Hawaiian pizza looks good. I think I'll plan that for next week.

+ I'm going to give myself a bravo for tracking every single day this week! I've always felt like that was the key. If you're not doing it, it won't work.
I'm feeling great about the program right now. I don't have much Halloween candy left - good planning on my part - but the little bit is in a bin in the cupboard, and because it's only 2 PP I can have one whenever the mood strikes.
I'm keeping myself motivated with the Beck Review. The scale is usually a helpful motivator as well, but I ended up having a rather large dinner last night and I think it threw off my WI this morning. Not going to worry about it, because I'm sure it will go down.
The new recipes are really keeping the plan fresh. Those pumpkin muffins were to die for, DH even loved them and he's the pickiest. I also got some Costco chicken noodle soup which is so great on points. I think this week I'll try those pizza things. I can't get enough pizza, so if I had to eat a pizza-like lunch everyday for the rest of my life - sounds like a pretty good life to me!
Lunch: Costco chicken noodle soup 1 1/2 cups for 4 PP

- How are you feeling about the program right now?
I am remembering all the reasons I like PP. I can eat the foods I like, including beer and pizza, and still stay OP with a little bit of pre-planning and effort. PP is a plan I can LIVE with.
- What do you do to keep yourself motivated?
I post in a couple of facebook groups as well as this board. Some of the people seem like old friends now, since we've been "together" for so long. I am happy to have your company here.
- What is one thing you’re going to try this week to make the plan feel new/fresh?
I plan to have some different lunches this week as I have been in somewhat of a rut. I used to enjoy the Progresso light soups and plan to have some soup & salad or soup & sandwich meals this week.
I am weighing and measuring food portions again, which helps keep me accurate and ensures I get all the food I deserve. I have always believed that with "eyeballing" portions, I either eat too much, or cheat myself out of food.

Starting with a little DIY “Bravo”... + official WI=177.2.⬇️ 2.2! ⬇️ 28.2 so far, 23.2 to go.
- How are you feeling about the program right now? Really upbeat. Points Plus works, plain and simple. And the extra focus/ direction on this forum? Is (excuse the expression) the icing on the cake!
- What do you do to keep yourself motivated? 1. I’ve been earning Activity points to use instead of Weeklies. Aiming for 10k steps (plus!) a day. DH is my walking bud, and “competing” with him adds a good dose of fun! 2. I save my AP’s to use Fri—Sun. still earning less than the 49 WPPs, so even if I use all my AP’s by Sunday, I’m still ahead of the game. 3. For milestones, I’m now adding a “badge” to my RoadID band for every 5 lbs lost between here and goal. (a clearance sale is a wonderful thing..!)
- What is one thing you’re going to try this week to make the plan feel new/fresh? I’m changing my official WI day to Mondays. Starting today. New forum! new VM! And a newly retired DH! Timing feels just right.
The plan? Copy the VM topic, questions, etc onto my “week of...” trackerjournal page. Post answers, here, on WI Mondays.
- What are you having for lunch? Been borrowing Panera’s “You Pick Two” menu options for a basic lunch format: 1/2 a sandwich, plus either soup or salad.
Today’s lunch? 1/2 turkey breast sandwich, with lettuce, tomato, and light mayo, and salad with DH’s light Italian dressing.
Thanks for the new week’s topic! have a great week, all!

I depleted my weeklies on the weekend, so I am planning and tracking very carefully this week and trying to get in some extra exercise. I made it to two yoga classes yesterday and am headed out for a nice, long walk. Today is sunny and in the low 70's so perfect walking weather.
I hope you are all having a great OP day!

I just wanted to thank everyone for your inspiring posts. I recommitted to Weight Watchers and am following Points Plus on ItrackBites. It's the plan I've had the most success with and I got back to Lifetime on it. I lost every week ( of course I was younger then lol) I love the weekly points which I've been using for weekend road trips and staying within my points on other days. It really is a livable plan. I need to drop some weight for health reasons. I was was counting calories but fell off the wagon completely feeling like a spoiled kid like if everyone else is eating something I should have it too. Not productive. So anyway I'm thrilled to see so many people actually Points Plus. We"re all in this together!

- How are you feeling about the program right now? Like a newbie...need to get back on track after the frustrating week of no internet and not tracking.
- What do you do to keep yourself motivated? come to the online groups...another reason I was so frustrated and not on program was...no internet and unable to check in
- What is one thing you’re going to try this week to make the plan feel new/fresh? I have all my old cookbooks out in the dining room and am going to pretend I am starting for the first time when I get up in the morning
This Week’s Routine: Know what you’re having for lunch I never seem to know BUT will try to do better this week.
Thank you for doing the virtual meetings!

I lost weight and maintained for several years using PP without giving up any of the foods l love. Of course, I did limit cracklings (deep-fat-fried hog fat--it's a southern delicacy, lol!) to once a year on Christmas Eve and carefully chose other treats. It feels good to be back on track and the scale is proving to me, once again, that this program works if you work the program.

- How are you feeling about the program right now? Still loving Points Plus.
- What do you do to keep yourself motivated? I still attend Weight Watchers meetings on Saturday mornings. Also, coming to these boards helps a lot too.
- What is one thing you’re going to try this week to make the plan feel new/fresh? I am not sure. I have been thinking about how I can switch up my meals some. My weight keeps going up and down. Fortunately more down than up. I am thinking I need to change something, but I am not sure what.
Lunch today was a turkey sandwich on Killer Dave's thin sliced bread, fat free cheese slice, fresh spinach, baby carrots and unsweetened applesauce.

limefan,Your lunch sounds yummy and just like something I would have. As long as the scale is down compared to four or five weeks ago, you are doing fine. When I was in losing mode before, back in 2011, I would lose for two weeks, gain or maintain the third week and then lose again. If I had a really big loss one week, I knew the next week would be a slight gain or a maintain. It drove me crazy until a wise one told me to look at 4-5 week trends and not stress about the current week. When all was said and done, I averaged 1.25 per week loss. Since I am 8 years older, I doubt this time the loss will be as quick.
