I decided to do green to get more points for varied food. Using 4 weeklies. I toyed with purple but pre-diabetic and can't eat the carbs. 3 slices of whole wheat whole grain bread. 1 lean cuisine. 6 table sponsor peanut butter. 1/12 fat free cottage cheese. 1 3/4 cups of fruit without added sugar. I mix 1/2 cup with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese.

I go to WW this morning,. I think I will have a gain. I haven't gone for 2 weeks. My doctor wrote a new goal weight. Saturday meetings are buy I am going early for the8am meeting so I hope they have time to insert it. I got home last meeting and they never did and took the letter. I am about 5 pounds under goal. I did not know they could reject the doctor. I think that is unfair. I am on green eating 3 /12 cus of fruit with no sugar qdded in water and 4 lean cuisines which come to 32 points. I will et less lean cuisines on Thanks giving. Don't eat gravy mashed potatoes is 5 points. Don't know what vegetable I will have. Maybe a sweet potato at the second Thanksgiving. Do not know what vegetable we will have. not going to eat desert or stuffing. May dip further into weekly points. 2nd Thanksgiving I may just eat Turkey, Will bring diet soda. They drink wine zt the second Thanksgiving. They drink diet soda at the first Thanksgiving. I ordered a fruit bowl at the first Thanksgiving, That is for Scott and me. he will pick it up Wednesday, My friend Russel's family does not have room for a fruit plate.

I may not eat turkey and mashed potatoes at the first Thanksgiving. Eat a Len cuisine and fruit. It is only Scott and me. That leaves me turkey at the second Thanksgiving and the vegetable.

I have nonfat cottage cheese as my mainstay protein. I don't want to eat meat poultry or fish. I mix it with fruit. 3 cup containers are 9 points. I have 21 points left. This is starting tomorrow. I have one container for tomorrow and get 6 more tomorrow morning. I have six servings of it and 6 servings of fruit mixed with it.I will eat mashed potatoes and vegetable at my first Thanksgiving. Plus Scott is picking up a fruit bow. being prepared for us. For the second thanksgiving with Russ and his family will eat sweet potato and vegetables at the second thanksgiving.

I have 21 points for thanks giving in my daily points to use plus weeklies. Scott and I have meals being delivered.

amyrs, Be careful with the Lean Cuisines. The commercial frozen dinners have a lot of sodium in them as part of their preservation process. Even though they are fairly low in points, they may cause you some water retention and bloat. I was astonished when I started tracking sodium!

I followed green last week and ended up with 1 weekly point left. My calories averaged 1194 per day so that is all pretty close to my goal of 1200 calories per day. I am down 2.6 pounds after two weeks which is fine. It is more than usual, but I had been overeating for a couple of weeks before starting green.
The last few months have been interesting. I am down about half a pound since where I was in early July. So basically I have maintained since then although I have had a lot of bouncing around. October was rough and I gained 4.2 pounds. The reason I am very happy about the overall maintenance is that we started a major house remodeling project then. Since then we reworked and added new closets, gutted our master bath and completely re-did it, made our pantry larger, expanded our utility room and removed our massive brick fireplace. We are currently working on repairing the wall it was on and then enclosing a patio that was in the area. We have had massive house disruption for the last 4 1/2 months. For a couple of months I had to sleep in a recliner as I couldn't use the master bedroom. There was a time the kitchen was all but unusable. My furniture in the living room is totally unusable right now (covered in plastic) and my office is about to be painted. So given all of that being able to maintain has been fine.

This week may be more challenging on green. I am going to be getting an apple pie tomorrow and then will be eating at someone else's house on Thursday. I am not really worried about staying within my calorie goal, just staying within the points since I am going to be eating more foods that point high this week. In the end if I stay within my calorie goal I won't go berserk if I go over a little on points.
