This thread was started before the dawn of time by Amazons who needed to compare their stats with other Amazons. Over time it grew into a community of incredible women who try to keep their spirits in the clouds and their feet on the ground, moving toward health. Most of us start at 5'7 and go up from there, from young singles to wise and lively elders of the tribe. We welcome newcomers who are willing to be kind and share a bit of their lives

Good morning. Early to bed, etc. I'm enjoying the chorus of birds in the yard through the open window in the sunroom.
Yesterday was my recovery day. I did get some errands done and spent enjoyable time with my friend while DH worked on her car. I left the my own work undone.
We had lunch at Panera's. The menu has been switched up. They have eliminated some of their sandwich options. But the new quinoa salad is really good.
I am meeting DGF at the mall for our semi-annual walk and talk. We live about 45 miles apart and try to meet in the middle-ish.
Anne, it is just delightful to hear the spring back in your posts, with the renewed atmosphere. What a difference when a toxic attitude finds its way through the exit. Worrisome about the numbers, but I hope they can be wrangled to a better place soon.
Okay, it's time for me to get some laundry in and attempt to finish pending projects before I head out for the afternoon.

Anne! So good to hear from you! Let us know about the numbers. I know I've had many bad days, and I foresee many more. I can't air my dirty laundry here, but know it is not good. I'm trying to take care of myself, but this was a challenging eating week for me. By my weigh in this morning (at home) I see I cannot eat all my weeklies and fit points to show a loss. I was off track yesterday. I'll see if I can go back in and track the damage. T: I went to Panera Bread on Friday and thought the same thing! I had my WW restaurant guide with me that helped. I had 1/2 thai chicken salad (7smarties) and black bean soup 4 smarties. That was about as low as I could go. Anyone else going to watch/tape Feud on FX? The bette davis/joan crawford series? It's on at 10pm tonight! off to clean and more clean.

Good morning, T and Frieda, and wandering Felines. No open windows here. Bright sun and single digits, above or below zero, depending on the hour and the thermometer. This cold can go to h-e-doublehockeysticks.
We are in for a day of more work at home. Prepping for the week ahead - I have three WW's to lead. Piano in bulk and details to take care of with that. And ongoing, increasing mess at home with the Pack'n'Sort. My take-no-prisoners DGF came yesterday, after we went to bkfst for her DH's birthday. We tore into new areas and made a dusty mess of sorting and ridding. She can lead me very well but there is extreme follow through to be done after. My other DGF came with butternut squash soup for all and we had dinner together in the chaos. Wonderful.
T, your hubby sounds wonderful, cut from the cloth mine was. We are rich indeed. Enjoy DGF time. Frieda, I too enjoy Panera. Haven't been in a while. I will enjoy the Feud show since I loved old Bette Davis movies back in the day - All About Eve, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, Whatever happened to Baby Jane. More character roles. But we can't record - got rid of cable a while back. Will be watching it sometime after the fact, however it is available - netflix, hulu. Let us know if you like it. I think Susan S is a good Bette choice. Linda, what a story about the angel food. I make it from a mix, if I make it. My DSiL made it scratch once, with no beaters. Didn't have any. Yikes - the work! You have a little team to lead.
Ok, no more pretending the day isn't waiting for me. Waves to all from frigid NY and the sweetest sleeping poodle.
