Friday, November 15: 125.4 - up 0.4 lb. Still hanging around 125 which was my original goal when I first started. I raised it to 130. However, I got used to being more like 123. I'm trying to make peace with 125 - stupid brain likes 123 better. Both are a fine weight for me.

bbbearsmom, thank you so true lani, I can relate! When I was working I had my goal set 118-122 and had no problem with that. When I retired my lifestyle changed so my lifestyle changed and I raised my goal range from 125-129.9 Reason being...when I HIT the 130's it seems like I bypass all of them and I'm once again in the 140's!!!! Or so it seems. Well, delicious pizza happened last night along with extra wine so my weight is up 1.3 126.5 which I'm fine with as well.

As for me, today is WI day and after last weekend's fall into some chocolates on the pretext of post-birthday funk, and this Wednesday evenings Cheese Bar and Obscene Desserts mishap with a friend who shares her birthday week with me, I was DREADING today's WI. But I tried to compensate this week with no snacking, only grapes outside of smaller meals, and last night I did a fasting day until early evening when I made butternut squash soup, which has like 1 PP per bucket (just PPs on the margarine or olive oil you saute the onions in, everything else is 0 PP), and I had a big bowl of that, with a few walnuts, almonds and pecans, and behold, I am actually down 0.4 from last week's WI, where I had maintained despite a birthday dinner and dessert mid week. So my conclusion is that compensating when I go off plan can help balance out the week. At least that's what I'm telling myself today. Let's see what next Friday says!

Saturday, November 16: 124.4 - down 1 lb. I had pizza and wine last night as well. BTW, my avatar is appearing (on my computer at least) on the Subject Line of everything I have ever hit reply to. I'm hoping it's only happening on my end and not visible to everyone else. Just saw the reply to my query on Website Help. Apparently this feature has been around; I don't know why it only happened on my computer yesterday. And yes, my avatar only appears on my device. Who knew?
