The weekend is a challenge visiting neighbors this evening and our family party tomorrow night. I can try to KOKO as I have during the week and move, be mindful of choices and drink lots of water. I have a badly needed color and cut this morning and then will pick up party food at the Italian and Armenian delis. Thank heavens for these great businesses. DH contacted a personal friend and physician who will try to help me with my anxiety. I think my pc doctor has done all she can.

Audrey I hope your friend and physician can help you with your anxiety.I have had it for years and had to end up with a psychiatrist because yes a PC can only do so much.Mine moved to CT and she continued with telehealth every 6 months but she finally retired and my current insurance does that so differently and my NP said she would continue to prescribe my medicine as long as I had no further issues so I've been lucky with that.
I will KOKO by tracking, moving and hydrating.I was down 2.6 at my monthly WI and while I don't want to lose any more weight I need to start maintaining without the extra losses.I will start by adding maintenance points in a little at a time.

Yesterday we went to the bank to get an ATM debit card should banks be closed again. We asked about wire transfers from outside of the country in emergency situations, how to pay for hospital stays when one can only withdraw 300 dollars a week and a few other things. My husband is a bit calmer BUT his nature is to worry, think of the worst, plan then plan 100 more times, etc. Anyway, did that then bought a chicken for husband, daughter and the cat (I will eat beans) and then had pizza for lunch and ate so much that dinner was just a nibble or two. Today daughter and husband are going to work on Visa to USA stuff for my husband then they might tackle the chicken (or I might?) I have a chard/bulgur/onion/tomato dish I can add black eyed peas to for my lunch and a side for them. We also have green beans, cabbage and other fruit/veg for meals. Multi-grain pancakes for breakfast with homemade jam and now I am on to the computer portion of this morning.
TODAY: (scale maintaining) *Moderation is the plan with a lot of whole grain plant based foods + hydration
MJ: I know you will be busy
SUSI: I am going with the flow - it will be a good day
BEE: Happy Birthday
BECKY: Glad your NP is willing to keep prescribing the med that helps you with anxiety. Good job at weigh-in!
ANN: It sounds like you have a great social life in the neighborhood!
AUDREY: Hooray for lunch out with your husband and I know it won't derail you. I am glad you have a friend to talk to about the anxiety.
LADONNA: Hope you had delicious options for dinner since you had points to spare.
PAM: I have visions of blue dots strung together to create a path before and behind you.

Good morning all. Another night of sleeping well. MJ enjoy your busy day. Cathy great job on maintaining. So sorry for your situation. I can see where DH worries. I love multigrain pancakes. Becky great job on your weight loss. I have my weight watcher app set for 28 points a day which is maintenance on the blue plan from when I was going weekly. I also get the 21 weeklies. Not many days go by where I don't use all my 28 daily points! My weight does fluctuate, but I've been maintaining nicely in my zone for awhile now...only time I went over was when I was asked to by my surgeon. That plan he had in mind didn't work out. This time of the year I'm more apt to weigh more as it's the 'holiday season' plus I'm not as active with walking. I'm sure adjusting your points upward by a few a day will help you maintain and be where you want to be. Audrey praying that your physician friend can help you with your anxiety. I agree...a PCP can only do so much in that area. Sounds like you have a busy day on tap. Oh I agree....it's wonderful to have such a variety of bakeries and places to buy foods that are tasty and especially all prepared Enjoy that cut/color. Today I shall plan track hydrate move and hit reset! I nibbled far more than I should have last night. We did have a great time, though. Waving to all and will CBL

Ann When you use your 28 points is that in addition to any zero point foods you eat? I think I have a problem with really understanding freestyle to know if I can still eat eggs, chicken and yogurt and still use all my points. When I do the green plan I know what to do but it is hard for me to get in the 36 points daily.

Pouring rain this morning otw to work. We've got the wedding rehearsal & dinner after work today - I'm helping decorate the reception venue in the morning and the wedding is tomorrow afternoon at 5:30. This may be the last time I get by. I have no clue what we are being served for dinner tonight or what is on the menu for the reception. I will just do my best at other meals and try and choose wisely for the unplanned meals. Also, have a luncheon today to send off a co-worker who has accepted another job - too much going on - LOL
Audrey, hugs and prayers for relief soon. Becky, great job on the WL and hopefully you can start adding those points in and find a great balance. Cathy, I'm the worrier in my family - hope all works out. Ann, glad you are rested this morning and the time with friends went great:) MJ, waving Bee, great you enjoyed our bday:)

Sorry for your rain LaDonna. Sounds like you have fun festivities...enjoy Becky I don't count any zero point foods. That being said I must limit myself to green grapes in season and fresh blueberries. I'm not one to over eat chicken or eggs so I'm good there. I eat 28 points daily sometimes dipping into the 21 weekly points.

Audrey - Hope your friend can help you with your anxiety. I'm sure the holidays don't help with it either. As I am getting older I am finding I am getting more fearful/anxious about life. Enjoy the time with your neighbors tonight and family tomorrow. Becky - Maintenance is tricky. Hard when you don't have a weight loss goal any more. Cathy - Sounds like visit with daughter is going well. Are you thinking of visiting her in her in the US? Good morning MJ. Hope you have some you time today. Enjoy the festivities and the wedding LaDonna. Carol and I walked to feed the ferals. I went to urban rebounding, just finished breakfast and am going to take a nap before putting up my tree.

It's damp raw and cold out there. You can feel moisture in the air. We are supposed to get rain tomorrow. I took a short walk and happy to be home where it's nice and warm and dry.
