Thursday I can plan track hydrate and move.
Need to spend time doing chores. Then I will stop at an optician and check them out. I was admiring our neighbors glasses and she gave me their name. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
Sleep well.

I will move, hydrate and eat mindfully. We are getting cookies and candy from neighbors and they are too tempting. At 11 I am going to see our 2 year old grandsonβs Christmas program. He is apparently the best in his class singing, dancing and doing hand motions. On the way home i need to pick up fresh produce to replace what froze in the refrigerator yesterday. Dinner is panko crusted chicken with a salad and vegetable.

Long day of cooking then cleaning up. Made a LOT of stuffed grape leaves. Stayed up late watching Jeeves & Wooster then stayed up long after that. Waiting to see if parliament will meet and whether or not there will be a prime minister designated.

Good morning, Ann - Becky - Audrey - Cathy - and AWF!
Prayers continue for all ailing and/or stressed posters and loved ones... and thank you for your prayers for me and my family... especially for the Mouseketeer...

Cold and windy today, but sunny.
DivaTaxi is off-duty until Monday. MHMR. Grocery shopping. And I think a stop at either AC Moore or Joanne's; I need frayCheck and also want to check out yarn sales.
Son#1 has pneumonia. He showed up on our doorstep yesterday to wait for his script to be filled at the local drugstore - and sat here and drank lots of Mom's hot tea. He sounds awful. He is taking PTO today and tomorrow (WFH yesterday).
The Kressling is doing better but is eating lightly until his gut finishes healing up. We went to YM and then to soccer practice - well, to the field for 8 PM but there was no one there. I was not heartbroken...
My pre-KressMess list is getting shorter <shhh>. I will still be on guard that One More Thing doesn't creep onto it (not that THAT could happen around here π).
Meanwhile, coffee is hot and good... βββ...

Good morning all. It's a frigid morning. Woke up to 9 with the 'real feel' of -6! Needless to say, I won't be hood walking today. I'll do what I set out to do and come back home again. MJ hope your DS and Kressling are both doing better. LOL to not being heartbroken that nobody was at the soccer field. Wonder what they were thinking scheduling that so late! Enjoy the coffee and errands. Cathy I bet you enjoyed the cooking part of yesterday. And cleaning up Good luck with PM being designated. Audrey great goals. Our Christmas treats are also hitting us. I try to have ONE and leave the rest for Carl...Sometimes that doesn't happen Enjoy the Christmas program. I bet he's just darling. I also need to get some produce! Dinner sounds tasty. Becky happy that's the only thing on your agenda. I hope your weather is warmer for you today. Waving and will CBL.

Ann - Hope you like the place. It's bitter cold here as well but the ferals were still waiting. Good luck moving and hydrating Becky Audrey - As nice as it is, I either take the food to a nearby nursing home or toss it. Enjoy your grandson's show. Cathy - You just took me right down memory lane. Most American's only know Hugh Laurie as House and have know idea about the magic of his collaboration with Steve Fry on that series. Sending healing prayers for DS1. Pneumonia is no joke. Glad Kressling is feeling better. I'm surprised they didn't call about practice. I'm in, planned and as tracked as is possible until I actually see the food at our luncheon. I'm planning on one rib as a treat, flounder francaise and green beans. If they have cornbread, I'll use my weeklies for a little. Dinner will be a chicken caesar salad with light caesar dressing.

Goood morning
Here's an idea regarding the influx of Xmas treats-- Ask a local shelter, police dept., church or food bank, what types of donations it accepts.
Can you freeze anything? (Frozen chocolate or cookies do not deter me unless I forgot the item exists. πHey...forgetting could happen. Once in 2018. . . I did forget that we had cookies in the freezer.
Ann Brrrrrrr... that wind chill is nasty. Good plan to be active inside rather than take a hood walk. Do you have any soup or chili planned for the day? Vegetable soup would hit the spot! Hope that you can find a new style of glasses.
Audrey Awww... your DGS's performance will be so joyful to watch. The excitement of lil ones is my favorite part of the holiday. Were you able to salvage any of the vegetables in a soup or casserole? Great dinner menu!
Becky Solid plan for an OP day. Wishing you a little more ease when you move and a little less pain today.
Cathy Hope that many hands & lots of laughter made the preparing the stuffed grape leaves & clean up easier and faster. Wishing you & your countrymen a positive outcome. Mj Am wondering. . . We have aware glasses. Do we need a ringer set on vibrate to signal "a one more thing" to side step or gracefully decline? Happy shopping. Oh my. . . Your poor son. Hoping that #1 son & Kressling both feel better soon.

Thursday's goals Was awake early to tackle "to do" items related to Medicare, Cobra, unemployment, & next semester's syllabus. Missions accomplished. Redesigned grading structure to significantly reduce my time grading papers while still adhering to dept. curricular design! Now for my lists of phone calls to make before R's appt. for new hearing aids. Apparently repeatedly verifying his coverage & benefits w/ Cigna, Amplifon, & Miracle Ear was somehow not enough to prevent a problem. Fingers crossed that Amlipfon's escalcation process has the issue resolved before R's 11 am appt.
Signing off to eat L/O spinach omelette & an orange for breakfast. Lunch will be vegetable soup & salad. Dinner will be l/o lean pork, b potato, & mixed vegetables.
Waving "hi" and sending positive vibes to all who post later!

Ann and Becky, we shall go forth KOKO. I need to do some chores also. Audrey, I love to watch kids in plays. Even if they mess up, it is just too precious. Cathy, I haven't read everything lately. Do y'all get to vote on your Prime Minister or is he appointed? MJ, hope you find what you're looking for. Yes, it is the time of the year to check out the yarns. Hope you DS is better soon. Susi, that flounder sounds good. I haven't had that fish in years. June, the only treats I have received was before Thanksgiving. My DS brought homemade toffee topped with dark chocolate. I knew I could not be trusted, so brought it to the night gathering and left it. They brought back my dish a few days later. It was delicious. I am planning to be WILLING to be ABLE to be AWARE! That's the best I can do. LOL Our humidity froze ---

Normally I drop off food gifts to the office here. Not that I'm a fan of the manager LOL...but I just want to rid myself of the temptation Win-Win in my books. Bee Carl makes homemade toffee and caramel. I also can't be trusted around that. Or the buckeyes (peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate) not to mention rum cake! So far I've sampled a little of each on different days. I'm learning Yes, we can KOKO together. Love the picture! June praying that R has a good appointment and all necessary paperwork/insurance problems are ironed out beforehand. LOL unfortunately I would never forget a frozen treat I do have veggie soup made and ready to heat up in the microwave. Perfect on a day like today. Plans were cancelled to get together with another couple. Neither one of us wants to 'face the cold' tonight. Smart move on our parts LOL. We can do it when Mother Nature is being gracious with warmer temps. Great plan for today. Susi always nice to have a beforehand plan. I'm sure you'll do well. LOL to the ferals ready and waiting to be fed. I am also planned for today. It's been a hectic week for me...so seeing as this is the last day of the week, we will splurge on pizza I've planned around it.
