Hello Crafters
Phyl - I'm sorry I got that confused too. I have family I haven't seen for many years too. I'm glad you have so many friends who live close to you.
Meg - I agree that Christmas can be bittersweet. This year it didn't even seem like Christmas to me. I think it's more fun when there are young people we can celebrate it with.
Ruth - That's a good deal on that yarn for sale, I'm glad you could take advantage of it. I'm sure I have as many unfinished projects as you
Ginny - I'm glad you enjoyed dinner out and the light show, that sounds nice.
Sue - Hope your weather is nice and you are getting some crafting in.
It was rainy here today, but not too cold. We're supposed to get more rain tomorrow and temps in the high 60s! Such strange weather.
I finished the center portion of my hand quilting project (from the class I took in October) yesterday. And today I drew a few lines around the center piece as a sort of a border that I want to hand quilt. It's such a small center, about 6 inches square, that I thought adding a border around it would be nice.
I tried using a different frame to quilt last evening and it didn't work that well. That was disappointing since it's my most expensive frame. I'm going to try to finish the rest of it with the frame I used in the class - a cheapo Dritz frame from JoAnn's
I checked out the Slow Sunday blogs today and saw someone writing about a challenge of doing 20 things in 2020, which I might think about trying. It wasn't just 20 different things, but things like - 20 minutes of walking a day, etc.
Take care everyone!
